Who will inherit the Promised Land?
Moses led the Children of Israel out of Egypt. When they reached the Promised Land, Moses sent spies into the land to scout it out. After the spies completed their mission, they returned to Moses and gave a report that would inaugurate a 40-year wilderness journey.
“We can’t attack those people. They are stronger than we are….The land we explored devours those living in it. All the people we saw there are of great size. We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.” (Numbers 13: 31-33)
Yahweh allowed only two adults traveling with Moses when the wilderness journey began to enter the Promised Land, Joshua and Caleb. Every other adult died in the wilderness. Why?
They believed the bad report and rejected Yahweh, their Savior and Redeemer.
American Jews and Israel

With Israeli elections just days away, many American Jews are watching closely, hoping that Benjamin Netanyahu will finally be defeated.
American Jews, overwhelmingly Democrats and liberals, have a litany of complaints about Israel’s longest-serving prime minister. They believe he insulted President Barack Obama by trying to prevent the passage of his Iran nuclear deal with an address to a joint session of Congress. They claim Netanyahu’s 2018 law declaring Israel the nation-state of the Jewish people has eroded the country’s democracy. Above all, they blame Netanyahu for the lack of progress on the Palestinian front.
There is a reasonable chance that Netanyahu will win. If he does not, though, the victor will most certainly come from Israel’s political center. And if that happens, American Jews are in for a rude awakening. Because Israeli policies, which they have long criticized, are unlikely to change.
About “Palestinians”
“Palestinians” as a people group were created in 1964 by Yasser Arafat. Since then, they have been trying to destroy Israel.
It’s impossible to understand what’s taking place in Israel right now without knowing what Arafat said he wanted to accomplish. Below are 5 Arafat quotes that lay out the PA’s and the PLO’s essential purpose, their raison d’être or “reason for being”:
- “Peace for us means the destruction of Israel. We are preparing for an all-out war, a war which will last for generations.”
- “We plan to eliminate the state of Israel and establish a purely Palestinian state. We will make life unbearable for Jews by psychological warfare and population explosion. We Palestinians will take over everything, including all of Jerusalem.”
- “The victory march will continue until the Palestinian flag flies in Jerusalem and in all of Palestine.”
- “The Israelis are mistaken if they think we do not have an alternative to negotiations. By Allah I swear they are wrong. The Palestinian people are prepared to sacrifice the last boy and the last girl so that the Palestinian flag will be flown over the walls, the churches and the mosques of Jerusalem.”
- “Since we cannot defeat Israel in war, we do this in stages. We take any and every territory that we can of Palestine, and establish a sovereignty there, and we use it as a springboard to take more. When the time comes, we can get the Arab nations to join us for the final blow against Israel.”
In a nutshell, Arafat wanted to destroy Israel completely and establish a purely Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital. Arafat was willing to sacrifice everything including the lives of Palestinian children to achieve his goals, and he understood that it would take generations to bring his plan to fruition. In the end, Arafat believed that the Palestinian cause would unite Arab Muslims first and then Muslims from around the world behind an overarching goal of Islamizing the world.
Most American Jews Won’t Be Satisfied Unless Israeli Jews Commit Suicide

“Palestinians” won’t be satisfied until Israel ceases to exist. Annihilating Israel is their passion, their reason for being, and I’m talking about “Palestinians” of the Hamas and Fatah variety in Gaza and the West Bank. Since Israel isn’t going away, “Palestinians” will never be satisfied, and fighting will continue in one form or another until Yahweh returns.
Israel can’t and shouldn’t let her guard down until that happens. At that point, Yahweh (i.e., the Messiah) will take control and Israel can rest secure. Until He returns, pretending that “Palestinians” want peace is insane. That misguided belief/hope can cost innocent Israelis their lives.
What is the difference between the Taliban and Palestinians?

President Trump was right to halt peace negotiations with the Taliban after the terrorist murderers claimed credit for a bombing Thursday in Kabul that killed 12 people, including a U.S. soldier. But I was stunned to learn that until the president’s announcement on Twitter Saturday night, he had planned a secret meeting with Taliban leaders and Afghan President Ashraf Ghani at Camp David on Sunday.
The secret meeting was part of an effort to reach a peace agreement to end our 18-year-old war in Afghanistan – the longest conflict in American history. Yet I find it amazing that such a meeting was even contemplated with the president of the United States, let alone planned and near execution until the night before it was scheduled.
We owe the Taliban a debt of gratitude. They are giving President Trump a lesson on negotiating with Islamist jihadists. Anyone who trusts them is out of his mind.
What is the difference between the Taliban and Palestinians?
There is no difference. American Jews, wake up.
Next Year in Jerusalem
At the end of Passover and Yom Kippur, most American Jews recite this chant, “Next year in Jerusalem.”
Those are words without meaning for most of them. They are just parroting a narrative. It’s part of a song and dance routine, a ritual. Few of them have ever been to Israel. Most of those who are doing the chanting will never go to Israel. Most of those who do go to Israel see it at as pilgrimage journey: a one-and-done kind of thing, an obligation. Been there, done that.
Thankfully, Yahweh doesn’t need their support to defend Israel. He has appointed Gentiles to do their job for them.
The Promised Land
Who do you think will inherit the Promised Land: People who reject Yahweh or people who have faith in Yahweh and obey Him?
I’m not going to tell you the answer. Read the Bible. See for yourself.
Yahweh didn’t leave any room for doubt. He made that decision and announced it. No one can alter it, even though many people think they can.
Few things are more disgusting to me than watching American Jews insist that Israeli Jews commit suicide, but this one does it: ultra-Orthodox Israeli Jews who take shekels from the State of Israel but deny Israel’s right to exist. They are the Haredim. Not all members of the Haredim harbor that belief, but most of them do. Next on my list is watching members of the Haredim trying to sell blessings to tourists as they make their way to the Kotel/Western Wall.
Most American Jews remind me of typical Haredim in Israel. My saying that will offend most American Jews. That’s too bad.
They watched Barack Obama betray Israel, and they hold a grudge against Prime Minister Netanyahu for standing firm for Israel. That’s pure stupidity.
