“Seek Yahweh while He may be found. Call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts and let him return to Yahweh, and He will have compassion on him. Turn to our Elohim, for He will abundantly pardon.”

Isaiah 55: 6-7

As you look at the world around you, consider this: Donald Trump was the right man for the right time. He was a gift to our nation from Yahweh. We were blessed to have him as president.

During Trump’s 4 years in office, America prospered. The phrase “Trump speed” wasn’t just jargon. It was the speed at which things can be accomplished if the right man is in the job at the right time.

Thanks to the Democrat Party and their operatives in the media, President Trump was hammered for doing his job every day he was in office. He has been out of office since January 2021, and they are still hammering him. They are trying to prevent him from returning as president.

We rejected Yahweh’s blessing and elected Joe Biden as president. Rejecting Yahweh’s blessing produced the inevitable result. The world is coming unglued. Inflation is soaring. Interest rates are rising. Families are having a hard time paying for basic necessities.

Trump’s enemies said, “He can’t be a blessing from Yahweh, because he has a checkered past; he is rough; he doesn’t sound like a preacher; etc.” Those people don’t know the Bible at all. If they knew the Bible, they would also know that Yahweh uses imperfect people to accomplish His objectives.

Why does Yahweh use imperfect people? The answer is simple. It’s because that’s the only kind of person there is. Trump’s enemies are so deluded that they can’t see their glaring imperfections.

People who are familiar with the Bible know that this is not the first time in history that nations have suffered, because they rejected Yahweh’s blessings. These books in the Bible tell us what happened to Israel and Judah over hundreds of years as they rejected Yahweh’s blessings, suffered, and returned to Him:

  • Judges
  • 1 Kings
  • 2 Kings
  • 1 Chronicles
  • 2 Chronicles

That cycle was repeated again and again. All of the prophets told us about what happens when people reject Yahweh’s blessings. These prophets are of particular interest to me, but all of them are important:

  • Isaiah
  • Jeremiah
  • Ezekiel
  • Daniel
  • Zechariah

“All Scripture is inspired by Elohim and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of Elohim may be adequate, equipped for every good work.” (2 Timothy 3: 16–17)

Scrape the dust off your Bible and read it. You’ll be amazed at what’s in it. And remember this: Yahweh honors our turning to Him and His word. He always has and always will.

As I watch what is going on in the world today, I wonder about the people of Sodom and Gomorrah. What were they thinking the day before Yahweh literally wiped them off the face of the earth for rejecting Him?

He has done it before, and He will do it again.

“I am the good shepherd. I know My sheep and My sheep know Me — just as the Father knows Me and I know the Father — and I lay down My life for the sheep. I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them also. They too will listen to My voice, and there shall be one flock and one Shepherd. The reason My Father loves Me is that I lay down My life — only to take it up again. No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of My own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from My Father.”

John 10: 14-18
