“Seek Yahweh while He may be found. Call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts and let him return to Yahweh, and He will have compassion on him. Turn to our Elohim, for He will abundantly pardon.”

Isaiah 55: 6-7

Abortion is Premeditated Murder Almost all the Time

Uncle Tom’s Cabin is a novel by Harriet Beecher Stowe. It first appeared as a serial in The National Era, and it was published as a 2-volume novel in 1852. Uncle Tom’s Cabin is said to have “helped lay the groundwork for the Civil War”. It was the best-selling novel of the 19th century and the 2nd best-selling book of the 19th century. The Bible is the only book that outsold Stowe’s novel during the 1800s. When Abraham Lincoln met Stowe, he said, “So this is the little lady who started this great war.”

Some will argue that the Civil War was not about slavery. I will concede that slavery was not the only issue involved, but I will say this, too: Had it not been for the South’s defeat during the Civil War, slavery would have probably existed in the United States well into the 20th century.

Prior to the Civil War, the Southern economy was primarily an agrarian economy. Slavery was viewed in the South as a necessary part of that economy. Thanks to the abolition of slavery, Southern farmers had to innovate, and technology made life better for everyone in the South.

Reliance on slavery was never really necessary. It was an easy solution that required little if any brainpower, and it slowed down the process of technological development. Southerners needed to change their way of thinking, and they did. Regrettably, it took a civil war to bring about that change.

Harriet Beecher Stowe was a liberal woman from New England. Today’s “liberals” don’t even resemble Stowe. The typical “liberal” today has abandoned Yahweh and the Bible completely. The causes they stand for and protest about are an abomination to Him. The number one cause on the lists of most “liberals” today is a woman’s so-called “constitutional right” to an abortion. They remind me of parrots repeating words they have been taught to say. They don’t understand the words. All they can do is say them.

There is nothing in the Constitution that even comes close to granting anyone the right to commit murder with impunity. Abortion is murder almost all the time. Rarely, abortions are necessary to protect the life of a mother, but more than 60 million unborn Americans have died by their mothers’ hands since Roe v. Wade in 1973.

Abortions in the U.S. are not rare. In 2017, 18% of pregnancies in the U.S. ended in abortion. The procedure is common, and most abortion procedures have nothing to do with a woman’s health much less with saving a woman’s life.

Most abortions in the U.S. are performed to relieve women of the responsibilities of child raising. In other words, abortion is about eliminating an inconvenience almost all the time. Those unborn children who are murdered, we are told, will infringe of a woman’s preferred lifestyle. “My body, My Choice” is their motto, but abortion has to do with 2 bodies: One belonging to the mother and the other belonging to her child. That’s a simple biological fact that we can’t ignore.

In Galatians, Paul said, “A little leaven leavens the whole lump of dough.” (Galatians 5: 9) In 1973, when the Supreme Court made abortion legal, they opened the door to all sorts of perversions becoming legal in the U.S. For example, since then, our highest court has decreed that same-sex marriages are legal and that sodomy is legal. Joe Biden’s recent Supreme Court appointee, Ketanji Brown Jackson, is soft on child pornography. Pedophiles are the only market for that product. I suspect that Jackson will become the voice on the Supreme Court for normalizing pedophilia in the U.S., and the downhill slide started with legalizing abortion.

Today’s “liberal progressives” are neither liberal nor progressive. They are perverted. Harriet Beecher Stowe was many things, but perverted was not one of them. She took a stand against slavery and won. Today, we must take a stand against abortion.

It has been reported that in Louisiana abortion will be treated as murder when Roe v. Wade is overturned. (See “Abortion would be punishable as murder under new Louisiana proposal”.) Abortion is murder almost all the time. People involved in murder and people who conspire to commit murder are guilty of murder. Where abortion is concerned, that means most mothers who abort their children and the medical professionals who help them are equally guilty. They should be held accountable for murder.

We live in a representative republic. All of us have a role to play in determining how abortion will be treated when Roe v. Wade is repealed. We need to lay aside sentiment and look at the facts. The facts are clear. Abortion is premeditated murder almost all the time. For the good of our country, states that have eliminated the death penalty need to reconsider what they have done.

There is nothing good about taking the life of an innocent human being. Taking the life of a premeditated murderer is another matter.

“I am the good shepherd. I know My sheep and My sheep know Me — just as the Father knows Me and I know the Father — and I lay down My life for the sheep. I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them also. They too will listen to My voice, and there shall be one flock and one Shepherd. The reason My Father loves Me is that I lay down My life — only to take it up again. No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of My own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from My Father.”

John 10: 14-18
