The Freedom Convoy is Heading to Jerusalem
Get ready Jerusalem. Truckers are heading your way. Next stop Tel Aviv. If you have ever seen or been trapped in Tel Aviv traffic congestion, you know what that means.
Freedom Convoys are taking hold. In cities around the world, truckers are saying, “Enough is enough.”
I’ve seen the data. So have lots of other people. The data don’t support Nazi style mask mandates and mandatory vaccinations. In fact, the effectiveness of vaccines is highly questionable. No serious scientist can deny the veracity of those statements, and no government leaders in the world know that better than Israeli government officials.
If you have received 2 COVID vaccinations and 2 booster shots and you still get COVID, it’s safe to say that vaccinations are not the answer, and masks are less effective than vaccines.
The trucker initiative in Israel started on Friday with a Facebook post. The post didn’t provide a specific time and place, but so far, more than 25,000 people have signed up and that number is rising rapidly.
Truckers would not be protesting if governments had not engaged in collective overreach for almost 2 years. So far, Justin Trudeau in Canada and Joe Biden in the United States have not heard the message correctly. They think they are hearing from truckers alone. That’s not the case. They will learn their lesson soon enough, but not soon enough for people who have lost their livelihoods thanks to government overreach in Canada and the United States.
Truckers are the point of the spear. There are hundreds of millions of people in the world who support them. It might be billions of people. Truckers and many others have endured all of the government overreach they can stand.
Government officials have made a mess of things. If they are smart, they won’t pretend that the protestors don’t have legitimate complaints. Also, they should resist the temptation to make kneejerk, disparaging remarks about the protestors. Trudeau and Biden failed to heed that advice already. Their payday is coming, because truckers are the heroes in this story. Government leaders are the bad guys.
The total cost of government overreach in the United States has not been determined yet, but it will be very high. In October 2020, government COVID programs in the United States were expected to cost about $16 trillion, but that was just a guess. It will end up costing a lot more than that. Taxpayers and business owners are footing the bill. They are not getting much bang for their bucks, and they know it.
In Israel, tens of thousands of businesses have closed permanently thanks to government COVID restrictions, and tourists have been denied entry to the country. The cost to Israel has been astronomical. After 2 years, it’s fair to say that the cure is worse than the disease.
There is a groundswell of support for the truckers, and with each passing day, more people are engaging. Truckers are doing what needs to be done.
