Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer’s Planned Retirement is a Bad Day for Democrats

Liberal U.S. Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer plans to retire, lawmakers said on Wednesday, giving President Joe Biden the opportunity to fulfill a campaign promise to nominate the first Black woman to the nation’s top judicial body.
It takes 60 votes in the Senate to confirm a Supreme Court justice. Democrats don’t have 60 votes in the Senate. They will need Republican help to confirm the next Supreme Court justice.
The mid-term elections are just around the corner, and the Supreme Court just took center stage. Get ready for another bruiser. Democrat wackos will be out in force and feeling as though they have nothing to lose. A lot is at stake, so another round of voter fraud during the mid-term elections is a virtual certainty.
Biden promised to nominate a black woman for the Supreme Court. Who will he choose? Anyone with far-left credentials will fail to attract enough votes in the Senate to win confirmation. If he nominates someone with moderate credentials, far-left Democrats will go crazy. They may even turn on Biden and take his administration down the tubes. They are close to doing that already.
Senate Republicans remember how Senate Democrats treated Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett during their confirmation hearings. It was a circus that included lying witnesses and demonstrations that turned into virtual riots in front of the Supreme Court building. Democrat Senators like Chuck Schumer joined the protestors in front of the court and warned President Trump that he was about to reap the whirlwind for nominating people they didn’t like.
What will Republican Senators do when Biden nominates Breyer’s replacement? I think they will shift into full attack mode.
My Take
This is my take on Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer’s plan to retire:
- The likelihood of Republicans regaining control of the Senate after the mid-term election just increased dramatically.
- The likelihood of Republicans regaining control of the House after the mid-term election just increased dramatically.
- The likelihood of Joe Biden’s Democrat Party splitting apart so badly that it can’t be stitched back together just increased dramatically.
- To regain credibility in the eyes of ordinary Americans, I think there is a good chance that Democrats will have to strip far-left members of their party of the power they have. The same is true from Muslims, because Muslims have joined forces with far-left Democrats.
- The likelihood of a Democrat winning the 2024 presidential election just decreased dramatically.
What About the Long-Term?
All-in-all, Breyer’s announcement of his plan to retire from the Supreme Court was a good day for Republicans and a bad day for Democrats. Senator Mitch McConnell is at his best during times like these. Chuck Schumer is at his worst. I expect Schumer to look like the political hack that he is, and the American people won’t like what they see.
Remember what happened to Justice Clarence Thomas when he endured Senate confirmation. He’s a black man, but blacks attacked him every way they could. Before the confirmation hearing was over, blacks even resorted to calling Thomas “a nominal black”. That means they saw Thomas as a black in skin color only. In other words, Democrats think that spouting Democrat Party sound bites and toeing the Democrat Party line are litmus tests for being black in America.

I have serious doubts about Schumer’s willingness to schedule a confirmation hearing in the Senate before the 2022 mid-term election. If Schumer does schedule a confirmation hearing before the 2022 mid-term election, the nominee will lose. I don’t think Schumer will be Senate Majority Leader after the mid-term election. This is do-or-die time for Democrats. I think they will lose big time no matter what Schumer does.
Choosing Breyer’s replacement should turn out to be a tactical victory for Republicans, not a strategic victory. Our nation is drifting to the political left rapidly. Anything goes is the order of the day, and things are getting worse. If our nation doesn’t repent, we will be in serious trouble.
Where Yahweh is concerned, I think our nation has passed the point of no return already, but nothing is impossible for Him. Even so, I think He is determined to judge America for our evil deeds, if not now then in the near future. We’ve gone way too far, and we’ve done it celebrating each step of the way.
Yahweh gave us lots of rope, and we used it to hang ourselves. I think He wants to drop the hammer on us.
Then He began to denounce the cities in which most of His miracles were done, because they did not repent. “Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles had occurred in Tyre and Sidon which occurred in you, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. Nevertheless I say to you, it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the day of judgment than for you. And you, Capernaum, will not be exalted to heaven, will you? You will descend to Hades; for if the miracles had occurred in Sodom which occurred in you, it would have remained to this day.
