The World Owes President Trump a Loud “Thank You”. CNN Owes Trump an Apology.

On December 14, 2020, nurse Sandra Lindsay rolled up her left sleeve at a New York City hospital and became one of the first people in the US to get vaccinated against Covid-19.
The vaccine was from Pfizer/BioNTech, and it had been authorized for emergency use only three days earlier by the FDA — the first counterblow against a deadly virus that had crippled the country and shut down much of the world. Authorization for Covid-19 vaccines from Moderna and Johnson & Johnson soon followed.
I remember the early days of COVID-19. That was in early-2020. President Trump started having daily press briefings, and he brought with him to the briefing room people with important information to share.
The same people from the press came to those briefings every day. They turned into daily slugfests. The media types competed with each other to see who could throw the best gotcha punch at the president.
Watching those briefings made me angry. It was a sad time in American history.
In September 2020, President Trump announced that a vaccination for COVID would ready for distribution very soon. See “Trump says U.S. could start distributing a coronavirus vaccine in October, contradicting CDC’s timeline”.
CNN’s Jim Acosta pounced immediately. He attacked the president and said in essence, “That’s ridiculous. You can’t develop and distribute inoculations for diseases in months. That takes years.”
One year ago today, the first vaccinations for COVID were administered. More than a month later, Joe Biden took the oath of office.
The whole world owes President Trump a loud “Thank You”. CNN owes President Trump an apology. Don’t hold your breath until CNN does the right thing, because doing the right thing is not part of CNN’s culture.
Dustin Hice, a bartender who is suing CNN anchor Don Lemon for rubbing his own genitals and jamming his finger in Hice’s face, said that CNN is “a predator protecting machine” that’s “rife with perverts”. I think Hice is onto something.
About 3 months after Biden took office, he tried to take credit for the COVID vaccines. See “Biden takes credit for coronavirus vaccines, now will he tell the truth?”
In Biden’s defense, he never had a good memory, and he’s losing what little of his mind is left.
