October 18, 2021 SnyderTalk—Highlights from the 2021 Georgia v. Kentucky Football Game, the CDC, Government Officials, and the Media

“Seek Yahweh while He may be found. Call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts and let him return to Yahweh, and He will have compassion on him. Turn to our Elohim, for He will abundantly pardon.”

Isaiah 55: 6-7

Highlights from the 2021 Georgia v. Kentucky Football Game, the CDC, Government Officials, and the Media

Below are highlights from the Georgia v. Kentucky football game that was played in Sanford Stadium on Saturday October 16, 2021 in Athens, Georgia. Some of you will enjoy watching the video, but that’s not why I am posting it.

As you watch the highlights, pay particular attention to the people in the stands. About 95,000 people went to the game. They are packed together like canned sardines. They are screaming and dancing and hugging and kissing.

No one is wearing a mask. No one is social distancing. No one said a word about it.

When I say “no one”, I mean no one: Not the CDC, not any government official, and not anyone in the media. As far as they were concerned, it was just another college football gameday.

Yesterday, I watched recaps of Saturday’s college football games on ESPN and SEC Network. No one said a word about masks and social distancing on those networks, either.

The CDC Statement on the Upcoming Holiday Season

Late last week, the CDC published a statement about the upcoming holiday season. According to the CDC, the American people need to prepare for mask-wearing and social distancing during the Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year holidays as families gather in their homes to celebrate.

See “Masks and vaccines are a must this holiday season, CDC says”.

Reality Check

For seven consecutive weeks, college football fans have been gathering in packed stadiums across the nation. I have not seen a single story about spikes in COVID infections in cities where those college games were played. If there were spikes in COVID infections in those cities, the media would have reported it, and government officials would have said something about it.

Sunday is pro football gameday. The same thing is happening at every pro football game, and there have been no reported spikes in COVID infections resulting from those games, either.

Major League Baseball is heading toward the 2021 World Series. We are already into the American and National League Championship Series. Those games are being played in packed stadiums, too. COVID protocols are being ignored; there have been no spikes in COVID infections in the cities where those games are being played; no one has said a word about it; and the media hasn’t published a word about it.

What’s Going on Here?

According to the CDC, it’s okay for tens of thousands of unprotected people to attend college and pro football games and major league baseball games together, but it’s not okay for families to gather together for holiday meals without protection. From a scientific perspective, that makes no sense. The CDC’s statement doesn’t pass the smell test.

Something else must be driving our government officials and the media. What is the government’s agenda, and why is the media not reporting it?

What Are We to Believe?

Are college and pro football stadiums safe havens where COVID can’t spread? Not hardly.

Did Major League Baseball work a deal with people in high places to prevent the spread of COVID? Not a chance.

Or are we being lied to buy our government and the media? This conclusion makes sense.

They can’t have it both ways. Either we have a serious national problem with COVID, or we don’t.

If we have a serious national problem with COVID, why are the CDC, political leaders, and the media silent about large public gatherings for college and professional sporting events?

Even more important, why have there been no spikes in COVID infections in cities where those sporting events have been held?

A few days ago, an Italian study revealed that only the very sick and the very old are dying from COVID. That’s a telling result. They need to be careful. Others are not a great risk.

See “Only very old and sick die of COVID if vaccinated, Italian study shows”.

“I am the good shepherd. I know My sheep and My sheep know Me — just as the Father knows Me and I know the Father — and I lay down My life for the sheep. I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them also. They too will listen to My voice, and there shall be one flock and one Shepherd. The reason My Father loves Me is that I lay down My life — only to take it up again. No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of My own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from My Father.”

John 10: 14-18
