“Seek Yahweh while He may be found. Call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts and let him return to Yahweh, and He will have compassion on him. Turn to our Elohim, for He will abundantly pardon.”

Isaiah 55: 6-7

World War III: You Won’t be Able to Miss It

To begin, you need to watch the video below:

Ready or not, World War III is heading our way.

Most global leaders see war with China looming on the horizon, but they don’t know when it will begin in earnest. When bullets are fired, bombs are dropped, and missiles start to fly, we will realize that it started a long time ago.

On December 11, 2001, China joined the World Trade Organization. George W. Bush paved the way for that to happen. That’s when China kicked its economy in to high gear. Since then, China has become a global economic juggernaut bullying its way around the world, and it has created an impressive war chest to pay for the war using money that the United States and Europe primarily sent them.

In other words, China will pay for the war with our money. I’m reminded of something Vladimir Lenin said about 100 years ago:

“When it comes time to hang the capitalists, they will vie with each other for the rope contract.”

Lenin wasn’t entirely on point. This war will not be about capitalism or communism. From China’s perspective, it will be about absolute power over people around the world. China wants it and intends to take it. China will take it if we let it happen.

Which Countries will be on China’s Side?

At this point, China has the resources and the capacity to fight a global war. China is building an alliance of nations now. So is the other side.

All nations will be forced to choose a side. Skirmishes are taking place already. They are practice before the big game. Setting the kickoff time for the big game is all that remains to be done.

When will the Big Game Begin?

I can’t give you a precise kickoff time for the big game, but I can point to an event that will set things in motion. I think it will be when China uses military force to try to take control of Taiwan.

Listen up:

Keep your eyes on Taiwan.

Who are the Players?

Like any game, we need to know who the key players will be on each side. Who will join China? At this moment, I think it will be Turkey, Russia, Iran, and Afghanistan/the Taliban.

That list should grow over time. When Chinese leaders think they have enough allies, the big game will begin.

The big game will have a name: World War III. I have asked this question before, but I will ask it again now because it is very important:

What do you think would have happened if nuclear weapons had been invented before World War II started instead of at the end of the war?

Paraphrasing Ed Sullivan, “World War III will be a really big show.”

I could add “You don’t want to miss it,” but I won’t. No one will be able to miss this game. It will be on every television and radio channel, and there will be big fireworks displays in communities large and small all around the globe.

Every nation that is not on China’s side will be on our side. Every nation will be in the big game.

Inevitably, some will say, “I don’t believe we are heading for war with China.”

This is my response to them: You are not paying enough attention.

The Big Question that Everyone Must Answer: Where will You Spend Eternity?

Lots of people die in wars: Combatants and non-combatants. This one will be a lollapalooza. Nothing like it has every happened before. A huge number of people will die. This is the big question that everyone must answer:

Do you know where you will spend eternity?

If you don’t know the answer to that question, now is the time to settle the matter once and for all. I like the way C.S. Lewis explained it in The Weight of Glory:

“God will invade. But I wonder whether people who ask God to interfere openly and directly in our world quite realise what it will be like when He does. When that happens, it is the end of the world. When the author walks on to the stage the play is over. God is going to invade, all right: but what is the good of saying you are on His side then, when you see the whole natural universe melting away like a dream and something else – something it never entered your head to conceive – comes crashing in; something so beautiful to some of us and so terrible to others that none of us will have any choice left? For this time it will God without disguise; something so overwhelming that it will strike either irresistible love or irresistible horror into every creature. It will be too late then to choose your side. There is no use saying you choose to lie down when it has become impossible to stand up. That will not be the time for choosing; it will be the time when we discover which side we really have chosen, whether we realised it before or not. Now, today, this moment, is our chance to choose the right side. God is holding back to give us that chance. It will not last for ever. We must take it or leave it.”

Actually, His Name is Yahweh, and He is Elohim, not God. See “His Name is Yahweh: Revised Edition“.

Yahweh is holding back, but He won’t hold back much longer. Yahweh is preparing to return, and when He returns, the game will be over.

Inevitably, some will say, “I don’t believe in God” or “I don’t know Yahweh”.

This is my response to them: One day, you will know who He is and believe in Him. I hope it will not be too late for you when that happens. The smug look you have on your face will evaporate in the blink of an eye when that day comes.

Quotes from Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis

  1. “A proud man is always looking down on things and people; and, of course, as long as you are looking down, you cannot see something that is above you.”
  2. “To have Faith in Christ means, of course, trying to do all that He says. There would be no sense in saying you trusted a person if you would not take his advice. Thus if you have really handed yourself over to Him, it must follow that you are trying to obey Him. But trying in a new way, a less worried way. Not doing these things in order to be saved, but because He has begun to save you already. Not hoping to get to Heaven as a reward for your actions, but inevitably wanting to act in a certain way because a first faint gleam of Heaven is already inside you.”
  3. “The Christian says, ‘Creatures are not born with desires unless satisfaction for those desires exists. A baby feels hunger: well, there is such a thing as food. A duckling wants to swim: well, there is such a thing as water. Men feel sexual desire: well, there is such a thing as sex.”
  4. “If I find in myself a desire which no experience in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that I was made for another world. If none of my earthly pleasures satisfy it, that does not prove that the universe is a fraud.”
  5. “A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic—on a level with the man who says he is a poached egg—or else he would be the Devil of Hell. You must make your choice”
  6. “Now is our chance to choose the right side. God is holding back to give us that chance. It won’t last forever. We must take it or leave it.”
  7. “I know someone will ask me, ‘Do you really mean, at this time of day, to re-introduce our old friend the devil—hoofs and horns and all?’ Well, what the time of day has to do with it I do not know. And I am not particular about the hoofs and horns.”
  8. “If the whole universe has no meaning, we should never have found out that it has no meaning: just as, if there were no light in the universe and therefore no creatures with eyes, we should never know it was dark. Dark would be a word without meaning.”
  9. “We might think that God wanted simply obedience to a set of rules: whereas He really wants people of a particular sort.”
  10. “Imagine yourself as a living house. God comes in to rebuild that house. At first, perhaps, you can understand what He is doing. He is getting the drains right and stopping the leaks in the roof and so on; you knew that those jobs needed doing and so you are not surprised. But presently He starts knocking the house about in a way that hurts abominably and does not seem to make any sense. What on earth is He up to? The explanation is that He is building quite a different house from the one you thought of – throwing out a new wing here, putting on an extra floor there, running up towers, making courtyards. You thought you were being made into a decent little cottage: but He is building a palace. He intends to come and live in it Himself.”
  11. “Each day we are becoming a creature of splendid glory or one of unthinkable horror.”
  12. “I sometimes wonder if all pleasures are not substitutes for joy.”
  13. “No man knows how bad he is till he has tried very hard to be good.”
  14. “When we Christians behave badly, or fail to behave well, we are making Christianity unbelievable to the outside world.”
  15. “If a man thinks he is not conceited, he is very conceited indeed.”
  16. “God cannot give us a happiness and peace apart from Himself, because it is not there. There is no such thing.”
  17. “You may forget that you are at every moment totally dependent on God.”
  18. “The instrument through which you see God is your whole self. And if a man’s self is not kept clean and bright, his glimpse of God will be blurred.”
  19. “Everyone says forgiveness is a lovely idea, until they have something to forgive.”
  20. “Pride gets no pleasure out of having something, only out of having more of it than the next man.”
  21. “Humility is not thinking less of yourself, but thinking of yourself less.”
  22. “Some people talk as if meeting the gaze of absolute goodness would be fun. They need to think again.”

C.S. Lewis was a devout atheist until Yahweh got a hold of him. Yahweh made Lewis a warrior for His kingdom. He has done it to many others, too, including me. I hope you are one as well. Lewis reminds me a lot of the apostle Paul.

“I am the good shepherd. I know My sheep and My sheep know Me — just as the Father knows Me and I know the Father — and I lay down My life for the sheep. I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them also. They too will listen to My voice, and there shall be one flock and one Shepherd. The reason My Father loves Me is that I lay down My life — only to take it up again. No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of My own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from My Father.”

John 10: 14-18
