“Seek Yahweh while He may be found. Call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts and let him return to Yahweh, and He will have compassion on him. Turn to our Elohim, for He will abundantly pardon.”

Isaiah 55: 6-7

Mask Mandates: Our Government Must Be Lying to Us Again

We keep hearing about masks, mask mandates, social distancing, vaccinations, etc. The drumbeat is constant. It’s as though the powers that be are preparing us for something big, something like vaccination passports, for example.

I don’t want to speculate. There is too much of that already. I prefer to talk about things I know. This is something I know.

This past weekend, I watched several college football games. Those games were played in big stadiums that were packed. Ohio State played Oregon before 110,000 screaming fans. They were hugging and dancing and kissing. No one in the stands was wearing a mask; there was no social distancing; and nothing was said about it.

Tennessee played in Knoxville before about 100,000 fans. Again, no one in the stands was wearing a mask; there was no social distancing; and nothing was said about it. The same was true in Athens, Georgia. The Bulldogs played before 93,000 fans; no one in the stands was wearing a mask; there was no social distancing; and nothing was said about it.

Our government’s narrative doesn’t jive with the things I see. Something smells fishy.

I watched parts of several NFL games on Sunday, and I saw the same thing. The stands were full of fans who were not wearing masks, and there was no social distancing. It looks like pro football has returned to business as usual.

What I saw over the weekend forces me to wonder about the truthfulness of my government. If COVID-19 and the delta variant are as threatening as we are being told, those college and pro football games would have given the powers that be fantastic opportunities to push their points, but they didn’t. Why?

I have not heard a word from the government or the media about it. Additionally, I have not heard anyone say anything about spikes in infections after those games. Again, why?

Are college and pro football stadiums different from churches, for example? Are they places where airborne diseases can’t spread?

Those stadiums were petri dishes for growing and spreading airborne diseases. If you were a healthcare researcher and you wanted to conduct experiments, those stadiums full of screaming fans were perfect places to do your research.

Show us the results. If there is nothing to report, tell us. Either we have a serious problem, or we don’t. If we don’t have a serious problem, stop pretending that we do. Either we need to wear masks in public places for our protection, or we don’t. Show us the results, or put an end to the fear tactics.

Our government leaders are embarrassing themselves. They are beginning to look like carnival barkers.

Do we need vaccinations?

For good reasons, I’m beginning to wonder about vaccinations, too. I’m not an anti-vaxxer. I’m just applying logic and common sense to the things we are being told by our government and the things that I can see with my own eyes.

I have been vaccinated, but I’m becoming skeptical about everything our government is saying and doing. For example, why are drugs that have proven to be effective in the treatment of COVID-19 and its variants (hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin) being taken off the market, and why are doctors being disciplined for prescribing them? It makes no sense. Something fishy appears to be taking place behind closed doors in our nation’s capital.

I think Florida Governor DeSantis is right. He should be pushing back against our federal government and President Biden for pushing for a federal mask mandate in public schools. If the government won’t give us all the facts, other governors should follow DeSantis’ lead.

The powers that be had better wake up before it’s too late. It’s no wonder that thinking people in America believe our government can’t be trusted. When you consider the COVID-19 problem along with other things like political leaders in Oregon at the state and local levels allowing rioting, looting, and burning to take place under their noses in Portland while they just watched, a reasonable person can conclude that our political leaders at all levels of government are up to no good.

What I am seeing looks eerily like a conspiracy, and I am not a conspiracy theorist. I’m just connecting the dots. Millions of other people like me are doing the same thing, and we’re beginning to question everything our government officials tell us.

“I am the good shepherd. I know My sheep and My sheep know Me — just as the Father knows Me and I know the Father — and I lay down My life for the sheep. I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them also. They too will listen to My voice, and there shall be one flock and one Shepherd. The reason My Father loves Me is that I lay down My life — only to take it up again. No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of My own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from My Father.”

John 10: 14-18
