We are Heading toward Global Chaos
The Coming of the Son of Man
The Messiah said that no one knows the day of His return except the Father:
36 “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone. 37 For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah. 38 For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, 39 and they did not understand until the flood came and took them all away; so will the coming of the Son of Man be.” (Matthew 24: 36-39)
Even so, He warned us to be on the alert for His coming:
42 “Therefore be on the alert, for you do not know which day your Lord is coming. 43 But be sure of this, that if the head of the house had known at what time of the night the thief was coming, he would have been on the alert and would not have allowed his house to be broken into. 44 For this reason you also must be ready; for the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not think He will.” (Matthew 24: 42-44)
He told us what to look for as that day approaches:
4 “See to it that no one misleads you. 5 For many will come in My Name, saying, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will mislead many. 6 You will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end. 7 For nation [ethnic group] will rise against nation [ethnic group], and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes. 8 But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs. 9 Then they will deliver you to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of My Name. 10 At that time many will fall away and will betray one another and hate one another. 11 Many false prophets will arise and will mislead many. 12 Because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will grow cold. 13 But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved. 14 This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.” (Matthew 24: 4-14)
A reasonable person who keeps up with global events can easily conclude that we are living in a day that is eerily similar to the time of the Messiah’s return based on the things He told us to look for. I’ll add one more bit of information that leads me to conclude that the Messiah’s return is imminent.
The Dollar’s Global Reserve Currency Status is in Serious Jeopardy
Since the end of World War II, the United States has benefitted handsomely from the dollar being the global reserve currency. The videos below explain how the U.S. has benefitted:
I made those videos more than a decade ago. Since then, the United States has abandoned any pretense of maintaining the long-term stability of the dollar. Our nation’s debt and our propensity for deficit spending are great examples of this problem.
At the end of 2021, the U.S. debt to GDP ratio will reach 115%, and the U.S. deficit to GDP ratio will be about 14%. Both U.S. government debt and deficit spending by the U.S. government have been rising rapidly since I made those videos. In other words, over the past decade, things have gotten a lot worse for the dollar, not better, and the global reserve currency status of the dollar is in serious jeopardy.
Take a look at “Gundlach: We’re running our economy ‘like we’re not interested in maintaining global reserve currency status’”:
Billionaire bond investor Jeffrey Gundlach, the founder and CEO of $137 billion DoubleLine Capital, says his number one conviction over several years is that the U.S. dollar will decline as a consequence of current economic policies, resulting in the U.S. losing its sole reserve currency status.
“My number one conviction looking forward a number of years — I’m not talking about the next few months at all, I’m talking about several years — is that the dollar is going to go down,” Gundlach told Yahoo Finance Live in an exclusive interview on Monday afternoon.
It’s Gundlach’s view that the “places to be in the long-term” are emerging markets and “non-U.S entities.” While Gundlach has already rotated into European equities, the investor expects to “aggressively rotate into emerging markets,” but notes it’s “too early for that right now.”
“So the dollar is going down is another reason why ultimately — we touched on gold — I think ultimately gold is going to go a lot higher, but it’s really in hibernation right now,” he added.
Jeffrey Gundlach sees the day coming when the dollar won’t be the global reserve currency. That’s what I alluded to in those videos more than ten years ago. I said it plainly to my strategy and leadership classes at the University of Virginia long before I made those videos.
Gundlach says that it won’t happen in the next few months. He thinks it will take years for enough pressure to develop to cause global leaders to abandon the dollar as the global reserve currency, but the pressure is mounting. China, Russia, Turkey, and Iran have launched an offensive against the dollar as the global reserve currency. In due course, they will win. It’s just a matter of time.
I think that day is just around the corner. It may take years as Gundlach said, but I don’t think it will take many years. Circumstances change very quickly under the chaotic conditions into which we are heading.
A reasonable person could easily conclude that many members of Congress, Republicans and Democrats, and leaders in the Democrat Party see what is coming, and they are spending like drunk sailors to weaken the dollar and hasten things along. Many of them have gone on record by saying things like “America never was a great nation”, and they have made clear that they don’t believe the U.S. government should put America’s interests first. In effect, they are paying homage to a global government that doesn’t exist officially, but they think it’s coming soon. So do I.

When the dollar ceases to be the global reserve currency, the U.S. will lose the advantages it has had thanks to the status of the dollar, and the U.S. will experience inflation and instability the likes of which no one alive today has ever seen. When that happens, the whole world will be in chaos as global leaders vie for position in the new global economy. Wars always accompany chaotic times like these, big wars. This time will be no different.
In addition to economic instability, we have global pandemics and lockdowns associated with them. Health experts tell us that more variant viruses are on the way. It’s a witches’ brew. Under these conditions, anything can happen, and just about anything will happen.
What we are witnessing today is just a prelude to what is heading our way. It won’t be pretty. We are moving headlong toward a world that is in total chaos. It resembles the world that the Messiah warned us to keep an eye out for. Keep in mind what He said about those days:
“But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs.” (Matthew 24: 8)
I’m not prophesying. If I were prophesying, I would begin with this: “Thus says Yahweh…” I have a Ph.D. degree in strategy. I did this for a living for a quarter of a century. I’m simply applying the tools of my trade and explaining reality as I see it.
Nothing like this has ever happened before on a global scale. You can hope for the best, but you would be well advised to prepare for the worst. I believe it’s coming sooner than a lot of people think.
I’m not trying to frighten anyone, but anyone with a smidgen of common sense who keeps up with global developments should be frightened. This is scary stuff.
