See “Texas megachurch pastor sent to prison for fraud scheme”:
A Texas megachurch pastor and former spiritual adviser to two U.S. presidents has been sentenced to six years in prison for bilking investors out of millions of dollars.

[Kirbyjon H.] Caldwell, who in March pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud, was the senior pastor of Houston’s Windsor Village United Methodist Church, which has about 14,000 members. He’s been a spiritual adviser to Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama.
According to federal prosecutors, Caldwell and Smith, a Shreveport-based investment adviser, used their clout and influence to persuade people to invest about $3.5 million in historical Chinese bonds. The bonds were reportedly issued by the former Republic of China that lost power to the communist government in 1949. The bonds aren’t recognized by China’s current government and have no investment value.
Caldwell “used his status as the pastor of a mega-church to help convince the many victim investors that they were making a legitimate investment, but instead he took their hard-earned money from them and used it for his own personal gain,” Acting U.S. Attorney Alexander Van Hook said in a statement.
Ezekiel 34: 1-16
1 Then the word of Yahweh came to me, saying, 2 “Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds [religious leaders] of Israel. Prophesy and say to those shepherds, ‘This is what Adonai Yahweh says: “Woe, shepherds of Israel who have been feeding themselves! Should the shepherds not feed the flock? 3 You eat the fat and clothe yourselves with the wool, you slaughter the fat sheep without feeding the flock. 4 Those who are sickly you have not strengthened, the diseased you have not healed, the broken you have not bound up, the scattered you have not brought back, nor have you searched for the lost; but with force and with violence you have dominated them. 5 They scattered for lack of a shepherd, and they became food for every animal of the field and scattered. 6 My flock strayed through all the mountains and on every high hill; My flock was scattered over all the surface of the earth, and there was no one to search or seek for them.”’”
7 Therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of Yahweh: 8 “As I live,” declares Adonai Yahweh, “certainly, because My flock has become plunder, and My flock has become food for all the animals of the field for lack of a shepherd, and My shepherds did not search for My flock, but rather the shepherds fed themselves and did not feed My flock, 9 therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of Yahweh: 10 This is what Adonai Yahweh says: “Behold, I am against the shepherds, and I will demand My sheep from them and make them stop tending sheep. So, the shepherds will not feed themselves anymore, but I will save My sheep from their mouth, so that they will not be food for them.”’”
11 For Adonai Yahweh says this: “Behold, I Myself will search for My sheep and look after them. 12 As a shepherd cares for his flock on a day when he is among his scattered sheep, so I will care for My sheep and will rescue them from all the places where they were scattered on a cloudy and gloomy day. 13 I will bring them out from the peoples and gather them from the countries and bring them to their own land; and I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, by the streams, and in all the inhabited places of the land. 14 I will feed them in a good pasture, and their grazing place will be on the mountain heights of Israel. There they will lie down in a good grazing place and feed in rich pasture on the mountains of Israel. 15 I Myself will feed My flock and I Myself will lead them to rest,” declares Adonai Yahweh. 16 “I will seek the lost, bring back the scattered, bind up the broken, and strengthen the sick; but the fat and the strong I will eliminate. I will feed them with judgment.”
1 Peter 4: 17
17 For it is time for judgment to begin with the household of Elohim; and if it begins with us first, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of Elohim?
Judgment has Begun
Kirbyjon H. Caldwell isn’t the first religious leader to swindle the people he is supposed to serve, and he won’t be the last. As Yahweh told Ezekiel, the religious leaders in Israel were doing the same thing about 2,500 years ago.
The Catholic Church is notorious for swindling people. Thankfully, it has stopped selling indulgences, but it hasn’t changed its wicked ways. Those pedophile priests who were eventually exposed were known about by the Catholic hierarchy for decades. To this day, the Catholic Church has not come clean. It will. Yahweh will see to it.
Judgment is just getting started. It’s going to affect religion, politics, and business. Get ready. It’s coming to a town near you very soon. Eventually, it will touch every facet of our lives.
When Yahweh told Ezekiel, “I Myself will search for My sheep and look after them,” He was referring to the coming of the Messiah. That has happened once already. Yahweh came to pay the price for our sins in order to redeem us. He is our atoning sacrifice. He is our Passover Lamb, but He’s not finished. He’s coming again. The next time He comes, it won’t be pretty for unbelievers, because He intends to destroy them.
In John 19: 30, the Messiah is quoted as saying, “It is finished!” from the cross just before He died. That is a very bad translation. He did not say “It is finished!” He said, “Paid in full!” In Revelation, He explains what comes next.
Revelation 21: 1-8
1 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. 2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from Elohim, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! Elohim’s dwelling place is now among the people, and He will dwell with them. They will be His people, and Elohim Himself will be with them and be their Elohim. 4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”
5 He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then He said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” 6 He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life. 7 Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their Elohim and they will be My children. 8 But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars — they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”
Yahweh’s grace is available to anyone who wants it, but you have to ask for it. You have to reach the point where you know that you are a sinner and that you need a Savior/Redeemer. Yahweh is that Person.
Matthew 11: 28-30
28 “Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
