“Whoever has ears to hear, let him hear.”

In Matthew 13: 1-9, the Messiah presents “The Parable of the Sower”:

1 On the same day Yeshua went out of the house and sat by the sea. 2 And great multitudes were gathered together to Him, so that He got into a boat and sat; and the whole multitude stood on the shore.

3 Then He spoke many things to them in parables, saying: “Behold, a sower went out to sow. 4 And as he sowed, some seed fell by the wayside; and the birds came and devoured them. 5 Some fell on stony places, where they did not have much earth; and they immediately sprang up because they had no depth of earth. 6 But when the sun was up, they were scorched, and because they had no root they withered away. 7 And some fell among thorns, and the thorns sprang up and choked them. 8 But others fell on good ground and yielded a crop: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. 9 He who has ears to hear, let him hear!”

In Matthew 13: 10-17, the Messiah explained that He was fulfilling Isaiah’s prophecy:

10  And the disciples came and said to Him, “Why do You speak to them in parables?” 11 Yeshua answered them, “To you it has been granted to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been granted. 12 For whoever has, to him more shall be given, and he will have an abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has shall be taken away from him. 13 Therefore, I speak to them in parables; because while seeing they do not see, and while hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand.”

14 “This fulfills the prophecy of Isaiah that says, ‘When you hear what I say, you will not understand. When you see what I do, you will not comprehend. 15 For the hearts of these people are hardened, and their ears cannot hear, and they have closed their eyes—so their eyes cannot see, and their ears cannot hear, and their hearts cannot understand, and they cannot turn to Me and let Me heal them.’” [Isaiah 6: 9-10]

16 “But blessed are your eyes, because they see; and your ears, because they hear. 17 For truly I say to you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.”

In Matthew 13: 18-23, the Messiah explained The Parable of the Sower to His disciples:

18 “Therefore hear the parable of the sower: 19 When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside. 20 But he who received the seed on stony places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy; 21 yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles. 22 Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful. 23 But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.”

In Matthew 13: 24-30, the Messiah presented The Parable of the Weeds:

24 Yeshua told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. 25 But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away. 26 When the wheat sprouted and formed heads, then the weeds also appeared.

27 “The owner’s servants came to him and said, ‘Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?’”

28 “An enemy did this,” he replied. The servants asked him, “Do you want us to go and pull them up?”

29 “No,” he answered, “because while you are pulling the weeds, you may uproot the wheat with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.”

In Matthew 13: 36-43, the Messiah explained the Parable of the Weeds:

36 Then He left the crowd and went into the house. His disciples came to Him and said, “Explain to us the parable of the weeds in the field.”

37 He answered, “The one who sowed the good seed is the Son of Man. 38 The field is the world, and the good seed stands for the people of the kingdom. The weeds are the people of the evil one, 39 and the enemy who sows them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are angels.”

40 “As the weeds are pulled up and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the age. 41 The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will weed out of his kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil. 42 They will throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 43 Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Whoever has ears to hear, let him hear.”

Why Parables?

In Matthew 13: 34-35, the Messiah explained why He spoke in parables:

34 Yeshua spoke all these things to the crowd in parables; He did not say anything to them without using a parable. 35 So was fulfilled what was spoken through the prophet: “I will open my mouth in parables, I will utter things hidden since the creation of the world.” [Psalm 78: 2]

The Parable of the Net

In Matthew 13: 47-52, the Messiah presented The Parable of the Net:

47 “Once again, the kingdom of heaven is like a net that was let down into the lake and caught all kinds of fish. 48 When it was full, the fishermen pulled it up on the shore. Then they sat down and collected the good fish in baskets, but threw the bad away. 49 This is how it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come and separate the wicked from the righteous 50 and throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

51 “Have you understood all these things?” Yeshua asked. “Yes,” they replied.

52 He said to them, “Therefore every teacher of the Law who has become a disciple in the kingdom of heaven is like the owner of a house who brings out of his storeroom new treasures as well as old.”

The Pharisees and Teachers of “the law”

In Matthew 15: 1-9, the Messiah distinguished between Yahweh’s Law and the prophets and Halacha that Jewish religious leaders taught. Halacha is also called the Oral Law and the traditions of the Jews:

1 Then some Pharisees and teachers of the law came to Yeshua from Jerusalem and asked, 2 “Why do Your disciples break the tradition of the elders? They don’t wash their hands before they eat!”

3 Yeshua replied, “And why do you, by your traditions, violate the direct commandments of Elohim? 4 For instance, Elohim says, ‘Honor your father and mother,’ and ‘Anyone who speaks disrespectfully of father or mother must be put to death.’ 5 But you say it is all right for people to say to their parents, ‘Sorry, I can’t help you. For I have vowed to give to Elohim what I would have given to you.’ 6 In this way, you say they don’t need to honor their parents. And so, you cancel the word of Elohim for the sake of your own tradition. 7 You hypocrites! Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you, for he wrote, 8 ‘These people honor Me with their lips, but their hearts are far from Me. 9 Their worship is a farce, for they teach man-made ideas as commands from Elohim.’” [Isaiah 29: 13]

The Conclusion

“Whoever has ears to hear, let him hear.” The rest are heading toward a place where there will be weeping an gnashing of teeth. It’s a very hot place with no creature comforts, and it lasts for eternity.

“Seek Yahweh while He may be found. Call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts and let him return to Yahweh, and He will have compassion on him. Turn to our Elohim, for He will abundantly pardon.” (Isaiah 55: 6-7)

“I pray…that they may all be one, even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me. The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one. I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me and loved them, even as You have loved Me. Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.”

  1. I have ears 🌽 and I’d like to know what we as Christians should be doing at a time that it seems Satan is in charge. And when I say Christian I mean the Biblical definition, not MSM’s “well if you’re not a Jew or a Muslim you must be Christian…” garbage. Do we just sit around in sackcloth covered in ashes wringing our hands saying “Whoa is me, whoa is me….”? Or should we be “doing” something? I’m over 95% sure the Dems manipulated and stole this election. I can’t believe we’re allowing a demented, lying, predator and an ungodly, vulgar, violent whore to occupy our W.H. and keep a legitimately elected winner out. What does YAHWEH want us to do? Just sitting here, praying and “doing” nothing is eating me up. Do we just roll over and play dead…..

  2. Re-read Exodus. Yahweh is in the process of showing the world who is in charge, so everyone will know that He is Yahweh. It’s His show. We play parts in it.
