“Seek Yahweh while He may be found. Call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts and let him return to Yahweh, and He will have compassion on him. Turn to our Elohim, for He will abundantly pardon.”

Isaiah 55: 6-7

See “‘All of Us Are Human’: Egyptian Actor Defends Himself After Facing Barrage of Criticism for Taking Photo With Israeli Singer Omer Adam”:

Egyptian actor and singer Mohamed Ramadan responded over the weekend to backlash he received on social media after a photo of him with Israeli pop singer Omer Adam in Dubai went viral.

Emirati journalist Hamad Al Mazroui posted on Twitter a now-deleted photo of Ramadan embracing Adam during a trip to the United Arab Emirates. He captioned the image, “The most famous artist in Egypt with the most famous artist in Israel. Dubai brings us together,” according to the publication Egyptian Independent. The photo was then retweeted by the State of Israel’s Arabic language Twitter account on Saturday under the caption “Art brings us together.”

A “Come to Yahweh” Moment?

Mohamed Ramadan may be experiencing a “come to Yahweh” moment. That’s the kind of thing Yahweh does while He is changing hearts.

The evidence of Yahweh’s work in our hearts appears before and after the moment we understand who is doing the work.

Think of it as running a virus scan on our hearts and removing the malware and viruses that prevent us from seeing things from Yahweh’s perspective.

At times, even Samuel had trouble seeing things from Yahweh’s point of view:

But Yahweh said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For Elohim sees not as man sees. For man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart.” (1 Samuel 16: 7)

I wonder about a great many people who call themselves “believers”. Considering the Democrat Party’s platform, anyone who could vote for a Democrat leaves me shaking my head. That’s especially true for people who say they are “believers”.

I’m not judging anyone. I’m simply saying that I have serious questions about the truthfulness of anyone who thinks he can be a follower of Yahweh while he supports a political party that openly and loudly rejects everything Yahweh stands for. As far as I am concerned, that’s like a German saying, “I love Yahweh, and I’m voting for Adolf Hitler.”

I am not exaggerating or using hyperbole. I mean it.

Our actions tell us more about what we believe than our words. Stated another way, talk is cheap.

“I pray…that they may all be one, even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me. The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one. I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me and loved them, even as You have loved Me. Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.”

John 17: 21-24
