October 9, 2020 SnyderTalk—Facebook “Fact-Checking” is a Joke

“Seek Yahweh while He may be found. Call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts and let him return to Yahweh, and He will have compassion on him. Turn to our Elohim, for He will abundantly pardon.”

Isaiah 55: 6-7

Facebook “Fact-Checking” is a Joke

Facebook “fact-checkers” are a joke. Click here to watch a video that I posted on Facebook recently.

Facebook attached this statement to my post:

“False Information.  Checked by independent fact-checkers.”

Facebook also attached this explanation to my post:

Fact Check: Black Lives Matter Was NOT Involved In Videoed Disruption At Hispanic Child’s Birthday Party

Did Black Lives Matter have anything to do with a woman seen on video ruining a Hispanic child’s birthday party? No, that’s not true. Video of a woman flipping a table in anger at her neighbor’s party for a 3-year-old shows nothing more than neighbors in dispute. Soany Barella, the mother of the little girl having the birthday, told Lead Stories the incident had “nothing to do with” Black Lives Matter.

It’s impossible for reasonable people to ignore the fact that allowing Black Lives Matter to run amok in our cities has inspired actions like this all across our nation.

Facebook “fact-checkers” can’t or won’t connect the dots, and they accuse people who can connect the dots of spreading “false information”. Stated simply, Facebook “fact-checkers” are blind to reality and can’t be trusted.

Facebook must be held accountable. It is not the arbiter of truth, and its “fact-checkers” can’t be relied upon.

This is one example. I have others.

Censoring speech without justification is a serious issue. Censoring speech for partisan political reasons violates constitutional rights.

Attorneys in America, you have a duty to perform.

Facebook “Fact-Checkers” are Disgraceful

  1. People who can’t connect the dots are not capable of checking facts.
  2. People who can’t see past their political biases are not capable of checking facts.
  3. People who refuse to recognize points 1 and 2 should not be allowed to trample on the constitutional rights of others.
  4. There are consequences for ignoring point 3.
  5. Facebook executives should be required to read On a Clear Day You Can See General Motors by John de Lorean. They should also be required to examine the reasons why de Lorean initially attempted to block publication of his own book. General Motors used to be the world leader in automobile manufacturing. That’s history. In GM’s case, it is highly unlikely that history will repeat itself.

“The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me. Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.”

John 17: 22-24
