Yahweh is About to Shake Our Nation

I have been walking with Yahweh since I was an 8-year-old boy in McRae, Georgia. My mother and father had given me a Bible for Christmas, and I actually read it.

Back then, I didn’t enjoy reading very much, because there were too many other things to do. Riding my bike, playing in the creek, hunting snakes, playing baseball, going to the swimming pool, going to the movies, and lots of other things excited me a lot more than reading, but I read the Bible. No one told me to do it. I just did it.

In McRae, cussing was something that young boys learned to do at about 8. I didn’t do it, because I knew that I wasn’t supposed to. I didn’t make a big deal about it. I just didn’t do it. I could feel Yahweh guiding me and teaching me. Cussing was not allowed.

As I grew older, I drifted away from Yahweh, but He never left me. I did lots of things that I shouldn’t have done, but Yahweh protected me through it all.

While I was in college, I went too far. I won’t go into detail about it, but I will say this. Yahweh spoke to me and said, “If you take one more step, you are dead.” He meant it, and I knew it. I stopped on the spot.

The people I was with that night didn’t hear Yahweh’s voice, but it reverberated in my being. When I stopped, they stopped, too. There is no telling what Yahweh protected them from that night because I refused to go with them. They may never know, and I didn’t tell them why I stopped.

Some people have a hard time with the idea that Yahweh speaks to His children. That’s strange since He said, “My sheep hear My voice.” (John 10: 27)

Sometimes Yahweh’s voice is audible. Sometimes it’s just a sense of knowing that He gives you. Hearing Yahweh’s voice can happen any time and in many ways. Most of the time, His voice is soft and gentle.

For example, in 1999 Katie and I took Melanie and Rebekah to Israel. I bought a new camera for the trip. I had several lenses, lots of filters, and a camera case to hold everything. I planned to take some great pictures, but my camera case was stolen as we were unloading our luggage in front of our hotel on Jaffa Street. When I looked around and saw that it was gone, I was angry, and I told Yahweh, “I’m not coming back to Jerusalem until You tell me that it’s time.”

Yahweh responds to me in real-time only rarely, but that day, He did. As soon as I finished speaking, Yahweh said, “You can come to Jerusalem any time you want.” It was as clear as a bell. His voice was soft and gentle, but it was firm.

At that time, I had no idea how important Jerusalem would become to me. Thanks to Yahweh, I know it now.

In 2000, Yahweh told me that He wanted me to leave the University of Virginia, and He let me choose the time I would leave. I was a chaired professor, so I decided to give the dean 4 years notice. In September 2000, I told him that I planned to retire in May 2004 and that I would make it official in September 2002.

When the time came for me to make my retirement official, I hesitated. Few people can understand the freedom that chaired professors have. Walking away from that life was difficult, but the night before I was supposed to meet with the dean, Yahweh came to me in a dream. I was called to His office, and I was 2 people. One me went into the office to meet with Yahweh, and the door was closed behind me. The other me was not allowed to see or hear what went on in the office. That me had to sit in the reception area and wait for the meeting to end. When the meeting as over, I knew that I had to make my retirement official the next day.

It troubled me that the door was closed and that I didn’t know what Yahweh said. I thought that He had read me the riot act for procrastinating and that He didn’t want me to experience the pain of being scolded by my Creator.

Fourteen years later in October 2016, I was speaking at a Sukkot gathering in Houston, Texas. Before I was supposed to speak, people were listening to music and dancing, but I decided to walk in the parking lot and pray. I asked Yahweh to join us that night and to make His presence felt.

While I was praying, Yahweh changed the subject. He told me what happened in the office during that dream 14 years earlier. It was as though He was continuing a conversation with no time lapse in-between.

Yahweh said that He had told me about things that will happen later, things that I will need to know, but things that I can’t talk about until the time is right. He said that He told me everything I will need to know for that time and that I won’t be able to remember the things He told me until that time arrives.

As quickly as Yahweh finished explaining, I noticed a young woman walking toward me in the parking lot. I could tell by the look on her face that she was coming out to talk with me. This is what she said: “Yahweh told me to tell you that He is coming tonight.”

I was surprised. I thought that I must not have heard her correctly, so I said, “What did you say?”

She repeated it slowly: “Yahweh told me to tell you that He is coming tonight.” She hesitated for a second or two, and said, “He told me one more thing.”

“What?” I asked.

“He told me that I should be doing what you are doing.”

No one except Yahweh and I knew what I was praying about. Yahweh sent her out to confirm for me that I had heard Him correctly. The woman was being obedient. She delivered a message, but she had no idea what it meant to me.

When I finished giving my talk, the woman came up to me and said, “I’ve seen Yahweh do some amazing things. After what He told me to tell you, I expected something spectacular.” I guess she meant that she expected fire and lightning or something equally dramatic.

I smiled and said, “It was spectacular. You were confirming something Yahweh told me.” I couldn’t go into detail. She played her part, but she was not supposed to know the details.

I don’t know why Yahweh waited for 14 years to tell me about that dream, but His timing is always right. It’s Yahweh’s plan, not mine. I have a part to play in it, and His timing must be my timing.

So, why am I telling you these things?

We are rapidly approaching some difficult days. Now is the time to get serious and to get right with Yahweh. Soon, Yahweh is going to lower the hammer on our planet because of our wickedness. We are normalizing abominations that Yahweh hates, and we are about to pay the price for our evil ways.

If you are a believer and you don’t understand that Donald Trump is Yahweh’s man for a time like this, you are not in sync with Him. It’s as simple as that. If you are foolish enough to attack the president for doing the things that Yahweh is leading him to do, you will suffer more than you know.

People who are smart will thank Yahweh for President Trump. He is taking a beating for us every day, and he’s doing it because that’s his job.

Get ready. A revolution is coming to America. It won’t be the kind of revolution that the Democrat Party’s militia groups Black Lives Matter and Antifa are calling for.

Yahweh is about to raise up His people in our nation and shake our nation like never before. The time for tearing down strongholds has come.  The time for rooting out injustice and corruption has come.

It will be a sight to behold, and President Trump will lead the charge.
