The Democrat Party is Rotten Through-and-Through

See “More willful blindness by the media on spying by Obama administration”:

The Washington press corps seems engaged in a collective demonstration of the legal concept of willful blindness, or deliberately ignoring facts, following the release of yet another declassified document that directly refutes past statements about the Russia collusion investigation. The document shows the FBI used a security briefing of then candidate Donald Trump and top aides to gather possible evidence for Crossfire Hurricane, its code name for the Russia investigation.

What is astonishing is that the media has refused to see what should be one of the biggest stories in decades. The Obama administration targeted the campaign of the opposing party based on false evidence. The media endlessly covered former Obama administration officials ridiculing suggestions of spying on the Trump campaign or of improper conduct in the Russia investigation. When Attorney General William Barr told the Senate last year that he believed spying did occur, he was lambasted in the media, including by James Comey and others involved in that investigation. The mocking “wow” response of the fired FBI director received extensive coverage.

The new document shows that, in the summer of 2016, FBI agent Joe Pientka briefed Trump campaign advisers Michael Flynn and Chris Christie on national security issues, a standard practice ahead of the election. It included a discussion of Russia interfering in the election. But this was different. The document detailing the questions asked by Trump and his aides and their reactions was filed a few days after the meeting under Crossfire Hurricane and Crossfire Razor, the FBI investigation of Flynn. The two FBI officials listed who approved the report are Kevin Clinesmith and Peter Strzok.

Three Points

Democrats think nothing is wrong if they do it.
The establishment media are Democrats.
The Deep State is almost exclusively Democrat.

About Point 1

Democrats are immoral and corrupt to the core. For Democrats, lying, cheating, and stealing are as natural as breathing. Democrats think nothing is wrong if they do it.

The so-called “Ukraine quid pro quo” is a great example. This is the gist of what happened:

Joe Biden used his influence in Ukraine as Vice President of the United States to enrich himself and his son Hunter to the tune of several million dollars. He did the same thing in China.
The Democrat Party and the establishment media turned a blind eye to Biden’s corruption.
President Trump learned about Biden’s corruption and started to investigate the criminal activity.
Democrats and the establishment media attacked President Trump mercilessly for investigating Biden’s crimes.
Democrats in the House impeached the president for investigating Biden’s crimes.

House Intelligence Committee Chair Adam Schiff is another great example:

Schiff was the designated Democrat cheerleader for the Russia collusion investigation.
Schiff was on establishment media television constantly for 2½ years telling the American people that President Trump was a Russian operative and that he would be impeached for criminal activity in connection with his so-called “Russia collusion”.
When questioned, Schiff said that he had concrete evidence that President Trump was guilty.
After conducting a 2½ year investigation as special counsel, Robert Mueller exonerated the president. There was no evidence that the president committed a crime.
To this day, Schiff continues to use the Democrat Party’s Russia collusion narrative as though it’s true despite there being no evidence to support it. Schiff accuses President Trump of obstruction of justice for defending himself against false allegations.

About Point 2

The establishment media are not journalists. They are Democrat operatives in the media industry.
The establishment media’s job is to sell the Democrat Party narrative to the American people.
For the establishment media, there is no sense in which journalistic principles apply. For them, honesty, fairness, and objectivity are not even afterthoughts.
The establishment media unabashedly promotes the Democrat Party narrative hoping to convince the American people to buy the party’s lies.

About Point 3

The Deep State is Washington bureaucrats who are permanent employees of government. They are unapologetically and almost exclusively “liberal progressive” Democrats. The Deep State includes people like former FBI agents Andy McCabe and Peter Strzok. They were Deep State operatives. They played instrumental roles in the so-called “Russia collusion” investigation.

These Problems Aren’t New

The Democrat Party has been corrupt for a very long time. For example, Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, Ted Kennedy, Chris Dodd, John Kerry, etc., etc., etc., all Democrats, have done things that would have landed ordinary Americans in prison for many years, but they got off scot-free.

The Democrat Party is rotten through-and-through.

The establishment media is the propaganda arm of the Democrat Party.
