There’s a Lot that We Don’t Know

See “Beyond the Cosmos – ‘Worlds Utterly Unlike Anything We Can Imagine’”:

“It’s hard to build models of inflation that don’t lead to a multiverse,” observed MIT physicist Alan Guth…. “It’s not impossible, so I think there’s still certainly research that needs to be done. But most models of inflation do lead to a multiverse, and evidence for inflation will be pushing us in the direction of taking the idea of a multiverse seriously.”

1 Corinthians 2: 6-10

“Yet we speak wisdom among those who are mature, a wisdom not of this age nor of the rulers of this age who are passing away. But we speak Elohim’s wisdom in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which Elohim predestined before the ages to our glory, the wisdom which none of the rulers of this age has understood. For if they had understood it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory, but just as it is written, ‘What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived,’ these things Elohim has prepared for those who love Him. These things, Elohim revealed through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of Elohim.”

Isaiah 64: 1-12

Oh, that You would rend the heavens and come down! How the mountains would quake in Your presence! As fire causes wood to burn and water to boil, Your coming would make the nations tremble. Then your enemies would learn the reason for Your fame!

When you came down long ago, You did awesome deeds beyond our highest expectations. And oh, how the mountains quaked! For since the world began, no ear has heard and no eye has seen an Elohim like You, who works for those who wait for Him!

You come to the help of those who gladly do right, who remember Your ways. But when we continued to sin against You and Your ways, You were angry. How then can we be saved?

For all of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous deeds are like a filthy garment. All of us wither like a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind, take us away. Yet no one calls on Your Name or pleads with You for mercy. Therefore, You have turned away from us and turned us over to our sins.

And yet, O Yahweh, you are our Father. We are the clay, and You are the Potter. We all are formed by Your hand. Don’t be so angry with us, Yahweh. Please don’t remember our sins forever. Look at us, we pray, and see that we are all Your people.

Your holy cities have become a wilderness. Zion has become a wilderness, Jerusalem a desolation. Your holy and beautiful House where our ancestors praised You has been burned down, and all Your precious things have become a ruin.

O Yahweh, will You hold back because of these things? Will You continue to be silent and punish us beyond measure?

Romans 11: 33-36

“Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of Elohim! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways! For who has known the mind of Yahweh, or who became His counselor? Or who has first given to Him that it might be paid back to him again? For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Truly.”

Don’t Assume Too Much

We don’t know the intricate details of Yahweh’s plans. It’s presumptuous to assume that we do. We won’t know the intricate details unless Yahweh tells us.

Resist the temptation to fill in the blanks. Only Yahweh can fill in the blanks. Let Yahweh be Yahweh. He knows what He’s doing.

The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one. I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me and loved them, even as You have loved Me.
