Dr. Rick Bright is an Exposed Prima-Donna
Dr. Rick Bright is the former director of the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority. A few days ago, Bright filed a whistleblower complaint alleging that his “early warnings” about the coronavirus pandemic were ignored and that he was removed from his position for pressing his case and moved to another position.
President Trump said that Dr. Bright sounds like a disgruntled employee. At first blush, Bright does sound like a disgruntled employee, but he’s actually an exposed prima-donna.
A prima-donna is a temperamental person with an inflated opinion of his talent and importance. Bright is the worst kind of prima-donna. He’s a prima-donna who failed miserably and was exposed.
What Early Warning?
Dr. Bright claims that his so-called “early warnings” in 2020 were ignored. Problem is the Covid-19 outbreak started in November 2019.
Bright was Deputy Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response and Director of Biomedical Advances Research and Development Authority. Bright’s job was to make sure that the U.S. was prepared if a pandemic occurred. He didn’t do that. By the time Bright gave his “early warning”, it was too late. The Covid-19 virus had already started spreading like wildfire in the U.S.
Analogies
Bright’s warning about Covid-19 in late-January was like warning that a tornado is coming after it has hit or like a warning that the enemy is coming after they have started dropping bombs on our cities.
The time to prepare is before the critical event, not afterwards.
I love the photo of Dr. Bright above. It was taken yesterday during his congressional testimony. Look at it closely. Bright wore a mask and gloves. In front of him are Lysol wipes.
Bright’s flair for the dramatic yesterday was way over the top. I wish he had been as well-prepared in November 2019 while the Covid-19 pandemic was taking off like a rocket in China.
The Media is at it Again
See The Atlantic article titled “The Most Remarkable Part of Rick Bright’s Testimony”. It was published a few hours ago:
It was a single, salty sentence that first made Rick Bright realize a pandemic crisis was coming: “We’re in deep shit.”
The warning had come in an email in late January, weeks before the deaths began piling up and the American economy all but shut down. The head of a Texas mask manufacturer, Mark Bowen, was confirming what Bright had long known—that the nation had nowhere near the supply of N95 masks it would soon need. “From that moment,” Bright told a House committee today, “I knew that we were going to have a crisis with our health-care workers because we were not taking action. We were already behind the ball. That was our last window of opportunity to turn on that production, to save the lives of those health-care workers, and we didn’t act.”
The most remarkable part of The Atlantic article written by Russell Berman is that Berman failed to recognize that Bright’s warnings in late-January were too late by at least two months. In other words, Bright failed to do his job, and so did Berman.
The media is still obsessed with removing President Trump from office. They have made removing the president their reason for being. It’s costing American lives and threatening to destroy the U.S. economy.

Media Obsession and Never-Trumpers
Army Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman is a prima-donna, too. He made a bad name for himself during the House impeachment hearings in late-2019 while Covid-19 was spreading in China. The U.S. media fixated on people like Vindman thinking that they would bolster the case for removing President Trump from office.
The Democrat-controlled House and particularly the House Intelligence Committee chaired by Adam Schiff obsessed about impeaching the president while a global pandemic was picking up a head of steam in China and roaring like a freight train toward the U.S. The media followed their lead. All of them ignored the pandemic completely until it was upon us. All of them failed miserably.
The impeachment hearings in the House and the impeachment trial in the Senate didn’t prevent President Trump from doing his job. Dr. Bright must have been watching on television. They probably prevented him from doing his job.
The American People are Waking Up
The American people are waking up to the fact that Democrats have been fixating for more than 3 years on unseating a duly elected president while they ignored the needs of our country. Their inaction on crucial matters has cost us dearly. Our unpreparedness during the early days of the Covid-19 pandemic is part of the price we are paying now for their failure.
As I said, the media is operating hand-in-glove with Democrats. Both groups have blood on their hands.
President Trump is Yahweh’s man for a time like this. People who don’t get it by now may never get it.
“No weapon that is formed against you will prosper, and every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of Yahweh. Their vindication is from Me,” declares Yahweh. (Isaiah 54: 17)
