Donald Trump has Been an Amazing President

The coronavirus (COVID-19) hit China in late 2019. At that time, President Trump was facing 2 articles of impeachment in the House and a trial in the Senate. He survived those off-the-wall, fake charges and was acquitted by the Senate.

That kind of thing could have wiped out lesser men, but in the midst of it all, President Trump was astute enough to restrict entry into the U.S. from China. There is no telling how many lives that decision saved. It also gave us time to plan a response to COVID-19.

Immediately after the president decided to restrict entry from China, the very same people who were trying to impeach him accused him of racism. Nonsense. Restricting entry was a measured response. It was precisely what was needed at the time.

It’s common knowledge that Democrats have been trying to impeach Donald Trump since before he was inaugurated. They announced their intentions publicly within minutes of his inauguration. They never had any evidence of crimes. They just don’t like President Trump. That’s it.

Donald Trump is not a conventional president, but these aren’t normal times. Conventional presidents created the mess we are in. Yahweh made a great choice. Donald Trump is His man for a time like this.

President Trump made promises while he was running for office. All candidates for president do that, but Trump was different. He kept his word. That’s certainly not conventional. Most candidates for president promise everything under the sun to win votes and then “pivot” after they win.

“Pivoting” means breaking your promises. It’s an admission that they were lying all along. President Trump didn’t pivot to the right or the left. I’m surprised that presidents before him didn’t give honesty a try.

On the campaign trail, President Trump talked a lot about lopsided trade deals that were hurting the U.S. badly. He promised to rectify the situation by renegotiating those deals. That’s exactly what he did. The North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and trade deals with China, South Korea, and Japan have been corrected or they are in the process of being corrected.

The president’s political enemies started screaming bloody murder when he imposed tariffs on goods coming into our country from countries that have a long history of imposing unfair tariffs on U.S. goods. They said, “I’m for free trade.”

Hogwash.

President Trump imposed those tariffs because trade under the existing trade deals wasn’t fair or free. Things are changing rapidly now thanks to Donald Trump.

Europe is next. European leaders know that President Trump means business. When he starts negotiating with them, they will be open to real change. If they aren’t, there will be consequences. European leaders know that, too.

It’s hard to believe that the U.S. was paying for the defense of Europe while they weren’t willing to pay their fair share for their own defense. That’s changing as well. President Trump made sure of it. Now, European countries are beginning to pony up to support the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). If they don’t pay their share, President Trump calls them out by name.

That’s not conventional, either, and it works. Any president could have done it, but Donald Trump actually did it.

The president also promised to drain the Washington swamp. He’s in the process of doing that right now, and the swamp rats are frantic.

Who are the swamp rats?

They are Democrats and Republicans and the career government bureaucrats that they put in place.

In less than 4 years, President Trump has made tremendous changes in the way our government operates. He has cut unnecessary and burdensome regulations that can’t be justified. He has changed the Republican Party so much that it’s now a party worth supporting.

Democrats are clinging to the past and trying desperately to avoid change. They are using every dirty trick in the book to prevent President Trump from succeeding. Even so, the president has accomplished more in just over 3 years than Barack Obama and George W. Bush together accomplished in 16 years.

That’s amazing.

Were Obama and Bush incompetent? Absolutely. Compared to President Trump, they were nothing but political hacks. The president is making them look terrible by simply doing what he said he would do. They could have kept their promises, too, but they didn’t.

It’s amazing that a non-politician is doing things that the politicians failed to do, and he’s making it look easy. It’s not easy, though. If it were easy, Obama or Bush would have done it.

Donald Trump has proven that we don’t have to accept incompetence and dishonesty at the presidential level. He has shown us a better way, and it works.

President Trump promised to move the U.S. embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. That didn’t set him apart. Every candidate for president for decades has made that promise. But President Trump actually did it, and he didn’t waste any time getting it done. That set him apart.

As quickly as the president made the announcement, his political opponents who had promised to do the same thing started criticizing him for doing exactly what they had promised to do. They are liars and hypocrites.

The United States has been blessed. Donald Trump is the answer to our prayers. Unlike Obama and Bush, he won’t try to coast through a second term in office. That’s not who he is.

Donald Trump will work for the American people until his presidency ends in 2024, and he doesn’t even take a salary. He’s working for us tirelessly for free.

Yahweh knew what He was doing when He gave us President Trump.

I am proud to be a Trump supporter. It makes me angry when his political opponents lie about him, but I understand why they are doing it. They have a lot to lose.

In President Trump’s second term, he really will drain the swamp. He’s heading in that direction now. He’s learning how to be president, and he’s learning who he can count on to get the job done.

Trump’s second term in office will be amazing to watch, and Democrats know it. That’s why they are going berserk.
