Nancy Pelosi Could Learn a Lesson from Forrest Gump
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is calling on the Trump administration to immediately brief lawmakers on the U.S. airstrike that killed a top Iranian commander in Iraq and what the White House plans to do next.
The strike in Iraq was directed by President Donald Trump and killed Qassim Suleimani, the commander of Iran’s secretive Quds Force, the Defense Department announced Thursday night.
The move, which is likely to provoke retaliation from Iran, comes amid heightened tensions between the Trump administration and Tehran over rocket attacks aimed at coalition forces in Iraq. U.S. officials have said those attacks were likely carried out by Iranian-backed militias with links to the Quds Force.
“Tonight’s airstrike risks provoking further dangerous escalation of violence. America — and the world — cannot afford to have tensions escalate to the point of no return,” Pelosi said in a statement late Thursday.
The strike was carried out without an “authorization for use of military force” against Iran and without the consultation of Congress, the speaker said.
“The full Congress must be immediately briefed on this serious situation and on the next steps under consideration by the Administration, including the significant escalation of the deployment of additional troops to the region,” Pelosi said.
Nancy Pelosi Hates President Trump
It’s easy to understand why President Trump refuses to divulge important and sensitive information to Nancy Pelosi and most other Democrats in advance of critical operations. They leak like a sieve. Telling them is as good as announcing it on television.
Pelosi and most Democrats hate President Trump for 2 reasons:
- He defeated Hillary Clinton and denied them the opportunity to advance their agenda.
- He promised to drain the swamp, and he’s doing it. Democrats have only just begun to realize what that means.
Democrats have been trying to impeach the president since the day he won the 2016 presidential election. They didn’t even wait until he was inaugurated.
Nothing Democrats have done has worked. Robert Mueller failed to deliver the knockout blow that Democrats anticipated. After an investigation that lasted for more than 2 years, cost more than $40 million, and was conducted by Hillary supporters, Mueller found no evidence of wrongdoing by President Trump or anyone working for him.
Mueller’s failure prompted a rush to impeach in the House in advance of the 2020 presidential election. After conducting a kangaroo court in the House where no concrete evidence was presented, the president wasn’t allowed to have counsel, and the so-called “witnesses” could not be cross-examined properly, the House voted to impeach the president with no Republican support. Much to the dismay of Speaker Pelosi, a few Democrats in the House voted not to impeach.
The impeachment debacle is blowing up in Democrats’ faces right now. Pelosi’s shenanigans since the impeachment vote in the House was taken are proof that she is playing political games and nothing more.

Nancy Pelosi is “Highly Overrated”

According to Pelosi, the U.S. strike on Iranian forces and Iran-backed Hezbollah forces in Iraq “risks provoking further dangerous escalation of violence.”
Since Barack Obama pulled out of Iraq, Iranian leaders have been escalating violence to strengthen their positions in Iraq and Syria. Under Obama, Iranian forces were allowed to get away with murder. Donald Trump put an end to that madness. Not standing up to Iran was the problem.
Qassim Suleimani headed up Iran’s terrorist misadventures in Iraq and Syria and around the world. Today, Suleimani is dead. His replacement has been named, but he has not achieved cult hero status in Iran. He won’t have the same influence that Suleimani had.
Will Iran retaliate? Probably.
Will Iran’s retaliation be worse than their mischief would have been otherwise? Probably not.
Iran’s leaders are just beginning to get the message from President Trump. Nancy Pelosi is more dense than they are. She doesn’t get it, and she has a big mouth and loose lips. That’s a terrible combination.
Dumb-ass + Big Mouth + Loose Lips = No Confidence
Nancy Pelosi is losing her grip on reality. She is coming unhinged in front of our eyes. Every time she speaks, she sounds incoherent, and she’s getting worse by the day. It’s smart to have no confidence in the Speaker of the House of Representatives.
I’ll repeat,

Nancy Pelosi is Not a Smart Person
Nancy Pelosi has overplayed her hand repeatedly since President Trump took office. Forrest Gump was more insightful than she is.
Gump said, “I am not a smart man.” Nancy Pelosi refuses to admit that she is not a smart woman. She thinks she can do anything she wants with impunity.
Pelosi is learning the hard way that she’s not as smart as she thinks she is.
