Biden Won’t Testify if Subpoenaed

Former Vice President Joe Biden said Friday that he would not comply with a subpoena to testify in the Senate impeachment trial against President Trump, should one be issued to him.

Any testimony from the 2020 Democratic contender for the White House before the Senate would draw attention away from Trump’s alleged wrongdoing and would effectively let the president off the hook, Biden claimed in an interview with the editorial board of the De Moines Register in Iowa.

“What are you going to cover?” Biden said to Register Executive Editor Carol Hunter in response to a question about the possibility of his participation in the trial. “You guys are going to cover for three weeks anything that I said. And (Trump’s) going to get away.”

Joe Biden: Guilty as Hell

Of course, Joe Biden will refuse to testify in a Senate impeachment trial.  He’s as guilty as hell.

To refresh your memory:

1. Joe took his son, Hunter, with him to Ukraine on an official visit by his father who was vice president at the time. It was a shakedown of the Ukrainian government to the tune of several million dollars.
2. Joe demanded that the Ukrainian government fire the prosecutor who was investigating Burisma Holdings and Hunter Biden.
3. Joe threatened to withhold U.S. aid to Ukraine if the Ukrainian government didn’t comply with his demands.
4. Joe did the same sort of thing in China, and Hunter walked away from that “deal” as an even richer man.
5. Joe Biden is guilty of doing what Democrats are accusing President Trump of doing.

President Trump: Doing His Job

President Trump did his job.  He was making sure that Ukrainian President Zelensky would do what he had promised to do while he was campaigning for office.

That’s our president’s job.  He was protecting our interests.

It’s not President Trump’s fault that Joe Biden is a crook.  Biden is refusing to testify because he knows what will happen if he does.

It’s about time for Democrats to be held accountable.  Biden isn’t the first Democrat offender, and he’s not the biggest Democrat offender.  He’s the first Democrat to get caught with his hands in the cookie jar.  Others will surely follow.

Nancy Pelosi: Going Stark Raving Mad

An impeachment trial in the Senate will cook the Democrats’ goose.  That’s why Nancy Pelosi won’t send the articles of impeachment to the Senate.

The House Speaker is going stark raving mad.  She can’t even carry on an intelligent conversation.  “Discombobulated” is too mild a term to describe Pelosi.  That deer in the headlights look may be Pelosi’s new permanent condition.
