A Day of Shame for Democrats
Robert Mueller, the long-time Washington insider and former FBI Director, was supposed to deliver the goods. His role was to nail President Trump’s coffin tight and ship his remains off to who knows where never to be seen again.
Mueller and his team of Hillary supporters investigated the president for more than 2 years and spent more than $40 million taxpayer dollars before the day finally arrived when his report was supposed to blow the lid off the Trump White House. Democrats were thrilled with excitement when Mueller walked into the Senate hearing room and took a seat.
What came next blew Democrats’ minds instead. It was obvious that Mueller didn’t write the report. There were crucial moments when it looked as though he hadn’t even read his report.
A Republican Senator asked a question to which Mr. Mueller responded, “I can’t say anything about that. I can’t go any further than what is written in the report.”
The senator said, “Mr. Mueller, it’s in the report on page 167. Shall I read it to you?”
For Democrats, breathless anticipation turned into sheer misery. They had to watch while their hope for success in the 2020 presidential election cooked himself in his own juice. In an instant, Mueller went from hero to zero.
“We’re not done yet,” Adam Schiff and Nancy Pelosi said. “We have a majority in the House. We can impeach the president.”
It would be wrong to say that House Democrats conducted an investigation, because they didn’t. They pulled together hearsay evidence and innuendo and made them into articles of impeachment in the House Intelligence Committee, but that’s not the committee that is supposed to craft articles of impeachment. That’s the role of the House Judiciary Committee chaired by New York Congressman Jerry Nadler.
Nadler campaigned to become chair of the Judiciary Committee. He promised his Democrat colleagues in the House that if they elected him, he would impeach Trump and Kavanaugh. It was a twofer. Democrats were ecstatic again. Nadler would deliver where Mueller couldn’t.
The hearings in the Judiciary Committee were terrible for Democrats. Nadler looked like a bumbling idiot, so Speaker Pelosi took charge. She yanked control of impeachment away from Nadler and gave it to California Congressman Adam Schiff. Schiff had proven his mettle by continuing to insist that President Trump was involved in Russia collusion long after Mueller closed the door on that line of inquiry. Schiff became “the man”.
All Schiff needed was a charge, anything he could hang his hat on. Suddenly, a whistleblower emerged. He heard someone say that someone had told him about having overheard a discussion about a phone conversation in which President Trump demanded that Ukrainian President Zelensky do Trump a personal favor by investigating a potential rival in the 2020 presidential election.
That was it. Pelosi put on her sad face and headed straight for the cameras. “We have a solemn duty to perform,” she said. “We have a constitutional obligation to impeach the president and show the nation that no one is above the law. We are doing this prayerfully.”
When I say that Nancy Pelosi puts on a face, I mean it literally. Her makeup is sculpted on. Removing it must require a chisel.
Pelosi used the word “prayerfully”. Really? I wonder who she prays to.
Do you vote to murder unborn babies and to condone infanticide and then put on your prayerful face to impeach a president on the strength of hearsay evidence 4 times removed? For Pelosi and other Democrats, the answer is yes. They don’t pray to Yahweh. That’s for sure.
Adam Schiff was ready to take the helm. His impeachment hearings in the House Intelligence Committee have been called many things, kangaroo court and circus being two of the most accurate. He set things up so that he controlled everything: the witnesses that would be called to testify, the questions they could be required to answer, the people that would be allowed to watch depositions, etc. It was going to be the Schiff Show. The Democrat narrative would be the only narrative.
A funny thing happened on the way back to the Judiciary Committee where articles of impeachment have to originate. The American people stood up and said, “Not so fast. You haven’t proven anything. All you have done is regurgitate the Democrat narrative. We started hearing it the day Donald Trump was elected.”
Schiff thought he would divide the Republicans. He didn’t. They are more unified than ever.
Schiff thought he would hold onto all the Democrats. He didn’t. They are beginning to peel away now, and the process is just getting started.
Schiff thought he would be seen as a hero, a man who might one day become president. It didn’t work out that way. Schiff is seen as a consummate liar and as a man with no scruples. He may be able to sell himself to California voters, but voters in other states would like to see him impeached or worse. Schiff may lose his influence in California before this thing is through. I hope he does. (See the article at the end of this editorial.)
In a few days, House Democrats will go before the cameras again with their prayerful faces on and talk about their solemn duty and their constitutional obligation to impeach President Trump. Never mind the fact that they don’t have a case. They have conviction.
House Democrats hope their conviction is contagious, but if they were paying attention, they would know that it’s not. Whatever they send to the Senate will be dead on arrival. Some senators are suggesting that they take a voice vote the day the articles of impeachment arrive to save precious time.
Schiff and other Democrats are saying, “That’s not fair.”
To which the senators replied, “So, now you want to talk about fairness.”
Today, Democrats are simply claiming that the impeachment process in the Senate is rigged. See “Republican tactics spark Democratic claims that impeachment trial is rigged”.
In the next few days, the Democrat narrative will change. They will be outraged that the impeachment process in the Senate is rigged. Democrats are trying to bring the American public over to their side. To Democrats, the entire impeachment process is a political game. That’s exactly what it was in the House.
Republican senators saw what Adam Schiff and Nancy Pelosi and Jerry Nadler did in the House, and they were outraged. Most of them have a sense of decorum and civility that prevented them from revealing their true feelings to the public, but now it’s time for payback.
Democrats lack basic common sense. They think the American people didn’t see and understand what they did in the House. They are sadly mistaken. For decent Americans, pulling against Democrats in the Senate during the impeachment process will be like pulling against a schoolyard bully who enjoys physically attacking his classmates.
Democrats should expect reciprocity. That’s what they will get, and the American people will cheer. More importantly, Americans will vote with their hearts, and Democrats will suffer at the polls.
Franklin Graham said that we are witnessing a “Day of Shame for America”. Part of me says, “You are right.” Another part of me says, “It’s not a Day of Shame for America. It’s a Day of Shame for Democrats.”
Yahweh works in mysterious ways. Democrats are hoisting themselves with their own petard.

I don’t have the courage of my convictions. President Donald Trump deserves to be impeached for trying to pressure Ukraine to investigate his political opponents. With every week, he says or does something worse than what he already said or did. But to say Trump deserves impeachment is different from saying that impeachment is good for the country. It might, in fact, turn out quite badly.
The writer of this article, Shadi Hamid, is a Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution. He must be a Democrat. Only a Democrat could see what I saw and read what I read and conclude that President Trump “deserves to be impeached”.
Democrats live in an alternate universe. They talk among themselves and believe that they and their friends and associates represent the American people. That’s foolishness. They should have learned that lesson in 2016.
To normal people, Democrats sound crazy.
I read everything, and I watched everything. Democrats in the House have no case. All they have are narrative and hype and conviction. They think that if they repeat their narrative often enough and loud enough and with enough emotion, people will buy it.
To normal people, it looks as though Democrats have lost touch with reality. Adam Schiff is the worst of them all. The more emotional he gets, the crazier he looks. Candidly, I think Schiff has mental problems.
The only people who are buying the Democrat line are ignorant fools and Democrats. They are in the process of losing big time. That will become crystal clear in November 2020. Until then, we will have to endure their nonsense.
Hamid is right about one thing, though. Impeachment will end badly, for Democrats. They are going berserk in front of our eyes, and things will get a lot worse after the 2020 election. Expect more violent craziness when President Trump is re-elected.

At this stage, polls mean almost nothing, but this poll betrays the Democrat lie repeated ad nauseam that Biden, Warren, and Sanders would beat President Trump in a head-to-head confrontation. Keep in mind that this poll was taken during what should be President Trump’s worst days in office. He is under attack by the establishment media 24/7. Impeachment is just about all they talk about. They barely mention the president’s great accomplishments. That will change when Democrats select their candidate.
Democrats are not fast learners.
Bless Adam Schiff’s Heart

Trouble for Adam Schiff is just beginning. He doesn’t have a clue what he has done. Like other Democrats, Schiff has grown accustomed to doing as he pleases with impunity. He is behind the curve. That day has ended.
Mocking Yahweh is a serious offence, and so is attacking Yahweh’s man for a time like this. Lying while he does it, makes things worse. Schiff and other Democrats have to learn things the hard way.
