The Highway to Hell
See “Cuomo signs legislation outlawing ‘gay panic’ defense in NY”.
Case 1
A woman is groped by a stranger while she’s sitting at a bar sipping a glass of wine. He walks up behind her, puts his hands down the front of her blouse and into her bra, and kisses her on the neck.
She has self-defense training, so she gets up, turns around, and knees him in the groin. Then she punches him in the jaw as he leans forward in excruciating pain.
The man is taken to the hospital with a broken jaw and crushed testicles. Prognosis: after surgery, his recovery is expected to take several months.
The man sues the woman for damages. The trial lasts for about 30 minutes, and the judge gives a directed verdict. She’s not guilty. Then the judge tells the man that the woman has a legitimate case against him.
That’s justice.
Case 2
New York’s Governor Andrew Cuomo just gave homosexuals in New York a get out of jail free card before they have committed crimes. They can use the card as often as they want.
Assume that the man doing the groping in my example is homosexual and the woman at the bar is a man. Thanks to Governor Cuomo, the man at the bar is guilty. New York’s law was written for cases like this.
That’s not justice.
It Can’t Happen
“Liberal progressives” will say, “That will never happen.”
Oh, really.
Prior to 1973, the legalization of abortion on demand in the United States was unthinkable. It could never happen. Today, abortion on demand is called a woman’s “right to choose”. Mobs march on Washington to protect that “right”.
Until a few weeks ago, murdering a live, newborn child after his mother decides she doesn’t want him was an unthinkable crime. Then Virginia Governor Ralph Northam, a pediatric neurologist, explained how he does it.
It’s happening right now.
Infanticide is the crime of killing a child within a year of birth. When one year after birth is acceptable, why not two years? “Liberal progressives” will sell it as an extension of a woman’s “right to choose”.
Moral Depravity
That’s moral depravity. It’s an abomination. It’s a signpost on the highway to hell.
If you think this is too reactionary, just wait. You’ll see that it’s not reactionary enough.
