Democrats Will Say Anything

It took the former vice president all of one day before he caved last night on the Hyde Amendment. Never mind that his more liberal rivals were using it to taunt him. Never mind that the press was overwhelmingly relying on critiques from abortion rights advocates and portraying Biden’s stance as a moral failing.
He had taken a stance, the same stance he’s had for decades, as a matter of principle. And then he melted.
Democrats are Liars
There is one thing I know for sure about every Democrat candidate for president. Every one of them will say anything to get the Democrat Party’s nomination. Then they will pivot to the right hoping to win the general election.
That’s what Democrats do. That’s what Democrats always have done. That’s what Democrats always will do.
The word “pivot” means to change your position once you have captured a group of voters. In other words, “pivot” means “lie to win votes”.
Joe Biden is Not Trustworthy
Joe Biden is a spineless wimp. He stands for nothing. He wants wealth and power, and he wants to make his family rich.
Joe Biden will say anything to win the Democrat nomination. He’s a good Democrat.
Al Gore: The Huckster
In 1976 when Al Gore ran for Congress from Tennessee’s 4th congressional district, he was a staunch abortion opponent. Why? Because voters in that district are opposed to abortion on demand.
In 1984 when Gore ran for a Senate seat, he pivoted to the left. At that point, he said that he opposed abortion personally, but he supported “a woman’s right to choose”. Why? Because he needed to win a statewide election.
In 1987 when Gore ran for president, he stressed his support for “a woman’s right to choose”. Why? Because Democrat candidates for president and vice president must toe the party line, or they can’t win the nomination.
Al Gore is a huckster. He will say anything for votes and dollars. He’s a good Democrat.
Then Came Kirsten Gillibrand
In 2006 when Kirsten Gillibrand ran for New York’s 20th congressional district seat in the House, she was a pro-NRA candidate. Now, she’s a staunch NRA opponent.

What happened? What caused Gillibrand to change her mind?
Gillibrand wants the Democrat nomination for president. She has to toe the party line, and Democrats are anti-NRA.
Gillibrand is a good Democrat.
Barack Obama and Bill Clinton
From 1997 to 2004, on controversial issues in the Illinois Senate, Barack Obama voted “present”. Why? He was running for president. The Illinois Senate was just a way station.
Obama controlled his tongue in the U.S. Senate from 2004 to 2008, because he wanted to be president. The U.S. Senate was a way station, too.
When Obama became president in 2008 with Democrats controlling the House and the Senate, he reverted to his Marxist/anarchist ways. He shoved Obamacare through Congress with the help of Speaker Pelosi. It was the centerpiece of his administration. It was an attempt to give government complete control over 20% of the U.S. economy. Obama’s goal was to give government 100% control of the economy.
In 1996, Bill Clinton signed into law The Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act (a.k.a., Welfare Reform). He didn’t believe in it, but he wanted to win re-election. His “principles” had to take a backseat.
Obama and Clinton are good Democrats.
Donald Trump is Playing by a Different Set of Rules
Democrats don’t understand Donald Trump. He plays politics by a different set of rules. He doesn’t pivot. He says what he means, and he means what he says.
That’s called being trustworthy. That’s why Trump won the general election in 2016. That’s why he will win the general election in 2020.
Democrats are slow learners. They haven’t figured out that the rules have changed.
