Abortion is Murder, but it’s Not Just Murder

See “‘Roe’ Wants Abortion Case Reversed”.

As much as you may want to unring a bell, you can’t.  What’s done is done.

Although Norma McCorvey, “Jane Roe” in the 1973 U.S. Supreme Court case that legalized abortion, wanted to reverse the Supreme Court decision for which she is responsible, it’s still the law of the land.

Despite what we hear from Democrats and the establishment media, abortion is not a constitutional right.  It’s a Supreme Court decision.  The difference is huge.

As a society, we gave women the legal right to murder their unborn children, but we can take it away with another Supreme Court ruling.

The article above was published in 2003, 30 years after Roe v. Wade.  Now, it’s 2019.  Since 1973, about 60,000,000 murders of unborn children have been committed. That’s what Roe v. Wade did to our country, but it did a lot more.

Women are hurt terribly by abortions. Before I show you a list of maladies that can affect women who have had abortions, I want to tell you about the most important one.

Reality Shock

More than 99% of abortions are for convenience. Rape and incest that result in pregnancy are such rare occurrences that they barely register. In other words, the rape and incest arguments are bogus. They are used to confuse the issue and make an immoral decision look like it’s moral to unsuspecting young girls and women.

Most normal women who are considering abortions face temporary concerns. They are told that an abortion will solve their immediate problem, but they aren’t told that in the long-run they will come to understand reality.

Abortion is Not Just Murder

Abortion is murder, but it’s not just murder.

Abortion is the murder of an unborn child by its mother.  When normal women understand that reality, they are crushed.

But abortion isn’t just the murder of an unborn child by its mother. Abortion is savage butchery.

They cut unborn babies into tiny piece, and they don’t use pain killers. They burn them alive with a strong saline solution, again without pain killers. Sometimes they force a breech birth, punch a hole at the base of the baby’s skull, and use a vacuum tube to suck its brains out, again without pain killers.

Normal women confronted with those realities have a hard time adjusting. Some of them go insane. Others commit suicide.  Those who make it through have to live with the fact that they murdered their children in the most horrific ways possible.

Other Problems

Below are some of the more mundane problems that women who have had abortions experience.  This information came from Life Matters Worldwide:

  • Hemorrhage
  • Infection
  • Ripped or perforated uterus
  • Cervical injury
  • Embolism
  • Anesthesia complications
  • Convulsions
  • Chronic abdominal pain
  • Gastrointestinal disturbances
  • Endotoxic shock
  • Second-degree burns
  • Rh sensitization
  • Tubal (ectopic) pregnancies
  • Infertility
  • Hysterectomies
  • Stillbirths
  • Miscarriages
  • Premature births

Planned Parenthood doesn’t tell young girls and women any of those things, and there is a lot more that Planned Parenthood doesn’t tell them:

  • Teens are up to twice as likely to experience cervical lacerations during abortion compared to older women, probably because their cervixes are smaller and more difficult to dilate or grasp with instruments.
  • The bodies of teenagers are more susceptible to infection (pelvic inflammatory disease and endometritis). They are also less likely than older women to follow instructions for medical care. Infections increase their risk of infertility, hysterectomy, ectopic pregnancy, and other serious complications.
  • An early full-term birth reduces breast cancer risk by as much as 1/3, while abortion of a first pregnancy carries a 30 to 50% increased risk of breast cancer. More than 90% of those who abort at 17 or younger have not had a previous full-term pregnancy, compared to 78% of patients age 18-19 and 49% of abortion patients overall.
  • Teens are 6 times more likely to attempt suicide if they’ve had an abortion in the last six months than girls who have not had an abortion; they are 2-4 times more likely to commit suicide after abortion than adult women.
  • Women who abort are more at risk of long-term clinical depression than women who deliver a child.
  • After abortion, significant percentages of women report eating disorders and substance abuse.
  • Women with a history of abortion often experience divorce and chronic relationship problems.
  • In one study of U.S. women who had abortions, 65% reported experiencing multiple symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Slogans aren’t Arguments

Young girls and women are hurt more by abortions that they can imagine until after they have murdered their children.  As I said, by then, it’s too late.

Women need to think the abortion issue through very carefully.  Slogans won’t help after the deed is done.  The fact that silly and evil women are slinging slogans around as arguments shocks me, but that’s where we are as a nation.

“The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me. Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.” (John 17: 22-24)
