Challenging the Establishment in the U.S. and Turkey

The Turkish people are rejecting the establishment. Take a look at this quote from the article:
Erdogan, who has dominated Turkish politics since coming to power 16 years ago and ruled his country with an ever tighter grip, campaigned relentlessly for two months ahead of Sunday’s vote, which he described as a “matter of survival” for Turkey.
But the president’s daily rallies and overwhelmingly supportive media coverage failed to win over the country’s capital or secure a definitive result in Istanbul, as Turkey’s tip toward economic recession weighed heavily on voters.
The Establishment Won’t Give Up without a Fight
For almost 20 years, Turkey’s President Erdogan has been attacking his political opponents in the media/entertainment, government, education, and business. Many of them have been sent to prison for challenging Erdogan’s authority. Others have been fired. For the most part, those institutions in Turkey belong to him.
For all practical purposes, the media/entertainment, government, education, and business in the United States belong to Democrats. That’s why lies like “Russia collusion” can be peddled to the American people for 2 years without much pushback.
Even after Robert Mueller’s report exonerated President Trump for anything resembling “Russia collusion”, his Democrat opponents still say that he is a Russian operative despite the fact they have no evidence to support that assertion. Democrats can get away with it because they practically own the media/entertainment, government, education, and business.
Democrats also claim that President Trump “obstructed justice”. From their perspective, defending himself is “obstructing justice.” It’s like saying that hiring a lawyer to represent you in court is “obstruction of justice” because it prevents an automatic guilty verdict.
Politics is a Rigged Game
Politics in the U.S. is a rigged game. The establishment owns it. It owns the Democrat Party outright and has a controlling interest in establishment Republicans.
The American people upset the apple cart when they rejected Hillary Clinton. She was the establishment’s favorite candidate. The establishment made sure that she would win the Democrat nomination instead of Bernie Sanders.
Anyone with a smidgen of sense knows that Sanders is a wacko, including people with establishment roots. Sanders’ only hope for success is millennial voters who are shockingly ignorant.
Hillary’s opposition in the general election was supposed to be Jeb Bush. He was the establishment’s Republican candidate. From the establishment’s perspective, Jeb was a safe fallback bet.
If either Hillary or Jeb had won the presidency, the establishment could have declared victory. Both of them were bought and paid for, but the establishment owns the Clintons and the Democrat Party lock, stock, and barrel.
Donald Trump Defeated the Establishment
Donald Trump is under attack because he defeated both establishment candidates, and the establishment is out to get him. It’s using the media/entertainment, education, government, and business to launch its attacks.
The Turkish People are Rejecting the Establishment
The people of Turkey are rejecting the establishment, too. Victory won’t come easily. The road to recovery in Turkey will be just as difficult as ours has been, but the Turkish people can win if they refuse to surrender.
The Establishment is the Deep State
The establishment is synonymous with the deep state. The deep state really exists. It has a strong hold on our political system. It’s not a death grip, but it’s close.
The establishment exists in Turkey, too. It won’t give up without a fight.
The Devil is Effective because People Think he doesn’t Exist
The establishment/deep state is like the devil. It operates in the shadows out of plain sight. It’s effective because so many people think it doesn’t exist.
The establishment/deep state does exist. It’s not a figment of people’s imaginations.
The devil exists, too. He is not a cartoon character with horns and a pointed tail who carries a barbed pitchfork.
