Venezuelan socialist dictator Nicolas Maduro is preparing for retirement. His days are numbered, and he knows it.
Who do you think owns that $1.2 billion in gold?
If you ask Maduro, he thinks it’s his. He thinks he earned it.
The problem with socialism is that the leaders of the movement always get filthy rich leading the effort. Maduro stashed away more than a billion dollars’ worth of the Venezuelan people’s money for a rainy day. He didn’t earn that money running a chain of arepas stands. He attempted to steal it.
Socialist dictators and their flunkies in government suppress opposition, tax out of existence hardworking men and women who are creating jobs and wealth, and pocket a huge chunk of the proceeds. They tell the masses that it’s immoral for hardworking people to enjoy the fruits of their labor. Naturally, the hardest working people stop working so hard, because they see that it doesn’t pay. The final death throe for socialist countries is shortages of basic things like food, clothing, and shelter.
That’s where Venezuela is now. It’s a predictable pattern. It’s been repeated many times. Venezuela is the latest example.
A short while ago, Hollywood hotshots were flocking to Venezuela praising the country’s socialist movement. Where are those Tinseltown heavyweights now?
Many Hollywood titans promised to leave our country if Donald Trump was elected, but they are still here pushing socialism. That’s a shame. They should be in Venezuela with their brother as he goes down in flames.
Before it’s over, Maduro should consider himself blessed if he isn’t killed, stripped naked, and hung from a pole by his ankles in Caracas.
The finale in socialist countries is characterized by the masses rising up and mercilessly eliminating those who oppressed them. Maduro is smart enough to know that, and he needs some bug out money. Now that he is losing power rapidly, he’s finding it difficult to put his hands on other people’s money.
Rest in peace Nicolas Maduro. You are going to get what you deserve.
