People who say They are Believers and Side with Yahweh’s Enemy are Deluding Themselves
A few days ago, a person criticized me for a post I put up on the His Name is Yahweh Facebook page.
He said that the post was too political and that it should not appear on a page bearing Yahweh’s Name.
I told him to read Judges, I and II Samuel, I and II Kings, and I and II Chronicles.
His response indicated that he didn’t have a clue what Yahweh said in those books. My critic had never read them, but he felt justified judging me for doing what Yahweh is leading me to do. He reeked of religious pride and pomposity.
As a nation, we are engaged in a spiritual battle. It’s being fought in the political arena. If we ignore reality and refuse to fight, we will lose, and things will get a lot worse.
Some people who like the His Name is Yahweh Facebook page call themselves Democrats. The Democrat Party is the Party of Perversity. More than anything else, it stands for abortion on demand without restraint and mainstreaming sodomy and a host of other perversions including pedophilia.
Name a perversion. The Democrat Party champions it.
Anyone who thinks he or she can take sides with Yahweh’s enemy and claim to belong to Him is double-minded and is deluding himself or herself:
- 1 Kings 18:21: “And Elijah came near to all the people and said, ‘How long will you go limping between two different opinions? If Yahweh is Elohim, follow Him; but if Baal, then follow him.’ And the people did not answer him a word.”
- Isaiah 29:13: ” “Because this people draw near with their words and honor Me with their lip service, but they remove their hearts far from Me, and their reverence for Me consists of tradition learned by rote….”
- Jeremiah 4:14: “O Jerusalem, wash your heart from evil, that you may be saved. How long shall your wicked thoughts lodge within you?”
- Matthew 6:24: “No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other….”
- James 1:8: “He is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.”
- James 4:8: “Draw near to Elohim, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.”
- James 1:22-25: “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror. For he looks at himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like. But the one who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing.”
- Revelation 3:15-17: “I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were either cold or hot! So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth. For you say, I am rich, I have prospered, and I need nothing, not realizing that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked.”
Since the beginning, Yahweh has made this point perfectly clear. We either belong to Him or we don’t. If we belong to Him, we will follow Him:
- Joshua 24:15: “But if serving Yahweh seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve Yahweh.”
Yahweh won’t lose, but we will if we don’t follow Him.
This editorial doesn’t include any pithy pictures, so most of the people who like the His Name is Yahweh Facebook page won’t read it. That’s telling.
