Our Nation’s Political Situation
Point 1:
It was a 1500-mile trek from Guatemala to the U.S. border through Mexico. The word was out that President Trump would make it more difficult to enter the U.S. illegally. Thousands of Central Americans rushed to make an illegal entry into the U.S. before the wall was built. They were aided and abetted by the U.N. and by NGOs.
The trip took weeks The conditions were perilous. Any attempt to blame U.S. border security for children’s deaths that were brought about because of the foolishness of their parents is patently absurd. Regrettable deaths and sob stories about those deaths won’t change the facts.
Point 2:
Congress should have solved the illegal immigration problem decades ago. Congress is complicit, because its inaction encouraged would-be illegal immigrants to put their lives at risk to make the dangerous journey. People like Bob Corker, a man who sat on his thumbs for 12 years in the Senate, mocked President Trump on his way out the door—for good, thankfully.
Corker is a disgrace. So is Jeff Flake, “the Flake from Snowflake”. Both of them are gone now, and Republicans like them won’t be members of Congress for much longer.
Point 3:
The housecleaning that is already well-underway in the Republican Party thanks to President Trump is just beginning in the Democrat Party. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Beto O’Rourke and Bernie Sanders and people like them are the faces of the New Democrat Party.
They are nutjobs. There aren’t enough nutjobs in the U.S. for them to win a general election.
Point 4:
The establishment media is saying that President Trump’s holding firm on the border wall is simply playing to his base. That’s a cynical perspective. In reality, the president is living up to his promises. The border wall is one of them.
Bob Corker and others like him in Congress and the establishment media don’t know how to deal with a man who makes promises and then keeps them. That’s not how things are done in Washington. They’ve been waiting for the president to “pivot”, but he hasn’t done it. They are in a state of shock.
Point 5:
Establishment politicians and the establishment media don’t understand President Trump and they don’t understand people who voted for him. They probably never will. They are going to be even more shocked when President Trump wins re-election after surviving every attempt they have made to sabotage his administration.
Establishment politicians and the establishment media don’t have a clue who put Donald Trump in office. If you tell them, they make derisive comments.
Yahweh is responsible for President Trump’s election, and He will be responsible for Trump’s re-election.
Point 6:
Draining the swamp isn’t easy. There are too many vested interests. People stand to lose a lot of wealth and power if the president successfully returns power to the people. Vested interests will fight the president every step of the way. That’s what we’ve seen, and that’s what we will continue to see as long as President Trump is in office.
We can be thankful that the president has stamina and resolve. He’s not perfect, but neither is anyone else. Donald Trump is Yahweh’s man for a time like this. He needs our prayers, but he is the man.
Point 7:
The conditions that made Donald Trump a winning candidate in 2016 have only gotten worse, and it’s not his fault. Congress is to blame. This is the way it has to be. Despite appearances, people are waking up to reality.
Establishment politicians and the establishment media are the problems. They have failed miserably. With each passing day, more and more people are seeing through the haze.
Point 8:
The radical left-wing of the Democrat Party is positioning itself to take control of the party. The 2020 presidential election will be a choice between gross immorality and socialism on one side and sensible governance of a sovereign nation on the other.
Trump will win re-election, and Democrats will be disgraced yet again.
Point 9:
No one in his right mind thought that our nation’s problems could be solved in a couple of years. It took decades of malfeasance to create them, and it will take 8 years to begin turning things around.
The battle for the heart and soul of America has just begun. If you are not participating, you are part of the problem.
Don’t be discouraged. Do your part. We will win this fight.
