No One Can Stop Yahweh

See “Radical Revival Falls on China’s State-Controlled Churches”:

You’re about to hear first-hand testimony and see video of an unprecedented Christian revival happening in parts of China. What is unique about this story is how God is moving among communist-controlled government churches.

CBN News traveled to southern China and obtained exclusive, never-before-seen images, from inside these churches.

When God Shows Up in a Communist Church

It’s Thursday evening in Fujian Province, southeast China. Scores of men and women are dancing, waving flags, blowing shofars, singing and worshipping God.

You might think these images come from a charismatic service in the United States. But they’re not. This is communist, and officially still atheist China.

And what Duan Huilai says is remarkable about this scene is that it’s happening in an officially government-controlled congregation known as Three-Self Church.

“Dramatic changes are happening,” Duan told CBN News. “God is moving in a powerful way inside these Three-Self Churches.”

Duan and his wife have witnessed this move first-hand. Both are evangelists and have for several years crisscrossed the Chinese countryside documenting the Holy Spirit’s move among Three-Self Churches.

“The most amazing thing is that the Lord is raising up God-loving people in these churches — so many brothers and sisters who love God deeply and want to serve Him,” Duan said.

Signs and Wonders Now Allowed

Pastor Duan says what is happening today in Beijing and in other parts of China as it relates to the powerful move of God amongst the Three-Self Churches is quite remarkable considering where the church has been in the last 30 years.

“Every sermon that the pastor preached back then had to be vetted by the government authorities. Young people were never allowed to attend these churches so you’d only see old people, mostly women,” Duan said. “Preaching about the power of the Holy Spirit was forbidden. You couldn’t talk about end times or preach repentance.”

Topics on healings, miracles, signs and wonders were out of the question. Not anymore.

“Nowadays people have accepted these topics,” Duan said.

What a Contrast!

Yahweh is moving all over the world.  In countries that most people think are inhospitable to Him, His Spirit is changing lives.

At this time of year in the United States, believers are making a big deal about saying “Merry Christmas” instead of “Happy Holidays”.  In this so-called “Christian nation”, that’s seen as an act of courage.

I’ve known for many years that something big is taking place globally.  In China, in Southeast Asia, and in many African countries that are predominantly Muslim, people are putting their lives at risk by sharing the truth about Yahweh.  That’s real courage.

About a decade ago, I started making His Name is Yahweh and other books that I have written available for free on the internet in PDF format.  For example, see

I told people that they could download, copy, print, and share those books as often as they wanted.  Many did it and are doing it.

I received emails from people in several countries asking me if I was serious. One email from a person in Nigeria stands out in my mind, because Nigerian Christians are under attack.

Nigerian Muslims are trying to wipe out Nigerian Christians.  It’s genocide on a grand scale.

The man who wrote the email was the leader of a Nigerian congregation.  He wanted my permission to print copies of His Name is Yahweh.  I told him, “You can do anything you want with the book. My only condition is that you are not permitted to sell it. You have to give it away.”

Amazon contacted me and said that large portions of His Name is Yahweh were appearing in various places on the internet. I told Amazon that it was okay. The people posting it had my permission. That settled the matter.

I am thankful that Yahweh’s Spirit is moving in places that most believers in the U.S. think are inhospitable to Him. I’m also thankful that I have been able to play a small part in it. Even now, thousands of copies of His Name is Yahweh are being downloaded and shared every month.

A while back, I was talking with a believer, and I told him about what was going on. He asked me how many copies of His Name is Yahweh did I think I had given away. I said, “I don’t know. It’s been downloaded more than a million times, and it continues to be downloaded. In most countries where it’s being downloaded, not everyone has a computer. I’ve told people to print it and share it. I assume they are doing that.”

Christian Publishing Houses are Asleep at the Switch

When I wrote His Name is Yahweh, I was naïve.  I thought that Christians in the U.S. would be as excited as I was about the important truths that I had come to understand.  I was in for a big surprise.

Christian publishing houses in the U.S. didn’t want to publish the book, because it wasn’t in line with their other offerings.  In the U.S., publishers are free to publish anything they want.  They have made their choices, and Christianity is on the decline in the U.S.  See “‘Christian America’ dwindling, including white evangelicals, study shows”.

I wonder if Christian publishing houses in the U.S. realize that they are partially responsible for that result.  They must not understand that good business decisions are decisions that are in line with Yahweh’s Spirit.

Could it be that they are just trying to make money?  In the process, they are missing out on what may be the biggest move of Yahweh’s Spirit since the Exodus.

Thankfully, Yahweh is not dependent of anyone.  Christian publishers can’t prevent Him from moving.  They can’t even slow Him down.

No One can Stop Yahweh

A battle is raging.  See “China’s pre-Christmas Church crackdown raises alarm”.  Chinese Christians are still under attack, but their numbers continue to grow.

The Catholic Church is failing miserably.  A few years ago, the Catholic Church started airing commercials urging Catholics “to come back home to the the church”:

Leaders in the Catholic Church know that they have a problem, but they don’t know that they are the problem.

I wouldn’t be surprised to discover that the impetus behind those commercials is declining revenue.  Throughout history, leaders in the Catholic Church have been obsessed with making money.  I’ll bet they still are.

The Catholic Church is largely responsible for making idolatry hospitable in Christian homes.  Pedophile and homosexual priests are being exposed right and left.  Pope Francis has turned a blind eye to their misdeeds.  He’s hoping that they will turn themselves in so that he won’t have to do his job.  See “Pope urges predator priests to turn themselves in”.

Protestant churches may have left Catholicism, but they did’t jettison Catholic doctrine.  They didn’t protest enough.  The difference between Catholicism and Protestantism is slight.

In Iran where Islamist tyrants rule, Christianity is surging.  See “Iranians ‘Disillusioned with Islam’ Are Fleeing Country, Converting to Christianity”.  The mullahs in Tehran are heading for a showdown with Yahweh, but they don’t have a clue.

Muslims who convert to Christianity are seen as being worse than infidels.  Special punishment is meted out on them.  Still, Iranians are leaving Islam in large numbers.  Interestingly, the movement in Iran is being led by women.

In the West, Christians are leaving the institutional church, but they are not leaving Yahweh.

See “‘Christianity as default is gone’: the rise of a non-Christian Europe”.  “Christianity as default is gone” in the U.S., too.

Also, see “Nearly 40% of UK millennials can’t identify baby in Bethlehem Christmas story”.  This probably sounds far-fetched to some of you, but it’s frighteningly accurate.  Now, take a moment and watch a short video: “click here”.

Europe as it used to be is history.  The U.S. isn’t far behind Europe.  The whole world is on a slippery slope to a place we would never choose to go if we knew where we were heading.  The time for taking relatively simple corrective measures has long since passed.  Reversing course now will take something closely akin to all-out war.

Nominal Christians (Christians in name only) are leaving the institutional church.  Why not?  They never knew Yahweh anyway.  They are taking advantage of the fact that they can stop pretending and get out without paying a political, social, or economic price, because “being a Christian” isn’t important in the West anymore.

Separating the Wheat from the Chaff

Yahweh is separating the wheat from the chaff.  He is preparing His faithful followers for the battle that lies ahead.  Pretenders can’t help.  They must go.

This is the bottom line: No one can stop Yahweh. Trying to stop Him is dangerous.

Yahweh has never been about large numbers.  He uses the faithful few.  That’s the way He has always worked.

“For though your people, O Israel, may be like the sand of the sea, only a remnant within them will return; a destruction is determined, overflowing with righteousness.” (Isaiah 10: 22)

If this sounds divisive, it’s only because it is.  Don’t blame me.  Yahweh is doing the dividing.  He’s perfectly willing to accept responsibility.  Before He takes drastic action, He wants to draw a line of demarcation between His people and everybody else.

“The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me. Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.” (John 17: 22-24)
