Paradise, California is History
See “3 startling facts about California’s Camp Fire”.
Fact 1:
“In just two weeks, the Camp Fire in Northern California has destroyed more structures than the state’s other six worst wildfires combined.”
Fact 2:
“The fire has also killed nearly three times as many people as the Griffith Park Fire – a record that stood for 85 years. And with 870 residents of Paradise and the surrounding area still missing, that total will likely rise.”
Fact 3:
“Also stunning was the fire’s ferocious pace, when it consumed the town of Paradise. In those first 14 hours, the Camp Fire destroyed 20,000 acres, growing to more than 100,000 acres two days later.”
Now Consider This:
Although the Camp Fire moved rapidly, it was not a surprise to anyone living in Paradise.
Everyone knew about it.
No one was caught off-guard.
Paradise no longer exists. It was literally wiped off the map.
In the 2010 census, Paradise had a population of about 26,000. Before the Camp Fire, its population had grown to about 30,000.
Paradise had paved roads. Residents of the town had time to get out. Anyone who wanted to leave could have left.
Some people have been found in their cars where they were burned alive. I assume those people waited until the very last second before they even tried to leave.
At this point, we know that more than 80 Paradise residents died in the fire. There are still 870 people who are unaccounted for. We know that the death toll will rise.
A Logical Conclusion:
The catastrophic event in Paradise, California wasn’t normal. It defies logic and common sense.
The death toll in Paradise is too high for a community that size, and it’s still rising.
Something big is going on in California. It’s bigger than accumulated debris on public land, Santa Ana winds, dry weather, or climate change.
Right now, things are happening all over the world that defy logic and common sense. Something big is taking place globally.
We are witnessing a mighty movement of Yahweh’s Spirit. It’s a warning.
At this point, I believe the movement we are witnessing is Yahweh withholding His Divine protection. That’s something unbelievers don’t know they have and believers too often take for granted.
Examples of Divine Protection
Not long ago, I was stopped at an intersection in Anderson, South Carolina, and the light turned green. Suddenly, I got the feeling, message, or whatever you want to call it that I should stay put. I waited for a few seconds, and while I waited, a car ran the traffic light in front of me at high speed. The driver slammed on his brakes and came to a screeching halt past the intersection. If I had moved forward as I would have done normally, I would have been in the intersection when the car came through. That car would have broadsided me.
That’s Divine protection.
I’m familiar with broadside collisions. See the picture below:
The year was 1977. That was my car. It was a Toyota Corolla. I was the driver.
The picture appeared on the front page of the Athens Banner-Herald the next day. There is a lot to the story that I can’t talk about, but I can tell you the basic facts.
I was driving home with a friend on Hancock Avenue in Athens, Georgia. Normally, Katie would have been with me, and Melanie would have been in a car seat behind the driver’s seat. Melanie was 2-years-old at the time. Katie and Melanie stayed home that day.
A man driving a large Cadillac sedan was coming toward me, and he started to veer toward me. I knew that a collision was imminent, so I turned to the right, climbed over the curb, and across the sidewalk trying to avoid an accident.
It didn’t help. The man driving the Cadillac kept turning toward me. He broadsided me in someone’s front yard.
You can see from the picture that my car was cut in half. The backseat was spread out in someone’s front yard. Melanie’s car seat was mangled beyond recognition.
At impact, my face was thrust into the steering wheel. It knocked out 6 of my teeth and tore a gaping hole in my chin that took more than 100 stitches to close. An oral surgeon wired the teeth back in. I still have those teeth today. I have had 4 root canals and crowns on 2 of the teeth, but they are still my teeth.
The man driving the Cadillac had an epileptic seizure. He couldn’t control his car. It was an accident.
When I saw the picture in the paper, I decided to go to the junkyard where they took my car and examine it closely. The initial impact occurred in the left front quarter panel at about my knees. There was a hairline crease on the left side of my car from that point to the doorpost between the front and back seats. My car was cut in half behind the doorpost.
As you can see, the backseat was completely destroyed. Melanie was protected that day. She could not have survived that collision.
I should have died, too. He hit me dead center. I would have died if not for Yahweh’s Divine protection.
That incident was confirmation from Yahweh about something He had told me a couple of days earlier. He was sending me a message. Nothing can harm me until it’s time for me to die. I got the message. I am free to speak boldly without fear when I know the truth.
We Had Better Repent
If we don’t turn from our wicked ways, Yahweh will send us messages that will be increasingly difficult to ignore.
Yahweh means business.
