Christine Blasey Ford may be waking up to reality. We’ll see.
She didn’t just lie. She lied about a person who is being considered for the Supreme Court, and she did it for one and only one reason: to prevent him from being confirmed by the Senate.
Nothing about Ford’s accusation makes sense.
It was brought forward after the confirmation hearings ended even though Senator Dianne Feinstein, a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, had the information before the hearings started.
It was given to the establishment media first.
The so-called “facts of the case” are contradictory.
Ford admits that her memory is hazy, an alcohol-induced haze. She can’t remember anything consistently.
Her therapist’s notes don’t confirm her story.
I’ll stop there. This is the bottom line: so far Ford hasn’t said anything under oath. When she raises her hand and promises to tell the truth, she will be under oath.
Lying to the press isn’t illegal.
Hiring a lawyer to pimp your lie isn’t illegal.
Lying to a Senator isn’t illegal.
Lying under oath is illegal. People go to jail for doing that.
No matter what Ford decides to do, Brett Kavanaugh is getting a good lesson on “liberal progressive” politics, particularly “liberal progressive” politics where abortion is concerned.
Brett Kavanaugh isn’t stupid, and he has a very good memory.
The American people aren’t stupid, either. We are getting a good lesson, too.
