This article in the New York Times repeats original reporting in the Washington Post and announces that Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination is in turmoil.
Kavanaugh has categorically denied the allegation. See “Kavanaugh Denies 35-Year-Old Allegation”.
This is what I know beyond any doubt:
- Democrats lie.
- It’s part of their nature.
- It’s who they are.
- It’s in their DNA.
- They will say and do anything.
- For Democrats, nothing is out-of-bounds.
Democrats had many weeks to dig into Judge Kavanaugh’s record, but they came up with nothing to subvert his nomination. For days during public hearings before the Senate Judiciary Committee, Democrats and their flunkies in the gallery made fools of themselves. They turned the hearings into a circus as they tried to produce a gotcha moment, but they failed miserably.
After the hearings had concluded, Senator Dianne Feinstein gave the FBI a letter that she said she received in July. In the letter, an unnamed woman said that as a high school student Brett Kavanaugh groped her at a party.
A few days before the Judiciary Committee is scheduled to vote on Kavanaugh’s nomination, the unnamed woman revealed her identity. The NYT article includes the details.
This allegation doesn’t pass the smell test. It makes no sense.
If Feinstein believed this allegation or if she suspected that it might be true, she should have asked Kavanaugh about it during the hearings, but she didn’t. That’s beyond suspicious, especially in the midst of the #MeToo era.
I’m glad that President Trump is not planning to withdraw Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination, and I hope the Senate confirms his nomination to the Supreme Court.
Democrats will go into the midterm elections telling their radical left-wing supporters that President Trump nominated a sex offender to the highest court in the land. They will assassinate Judge Kavanaugh’s character for political reasons with no substantive evidence to back up their claims.
The fact that Democrats didn’t produce this so-called “evidence” during the Senate Judiciary Committee hearings is critically important. In a public setting, Kavanaugh would have been able to respond to the allegations, and we would have been able to hear and see him respond. In that case, Democrats would have been forced to produce more than innuendo.
As things stand now, all we have is innuendo in the court of public opinion. It’s a classic Democrat ploy: no evidence, all allegation, a campaign issue, and a good man whose character has been assassinated.
I’ll repeat: Democrats lie. The truth isn’t in them. They can’t be trusted, period. Quoting Forrest Gump, “That’s all I have to say about that.”
For Democrats, nothing is Too Low
Many years ago, while I was a Democrat, I heard a story about Lyndon Johnson that reveals a lot about how Democrats think. At the time, I worked for Virginia Governor Chuck Robb. He’s a Democrat, and he’s married to Johnson’s daughter.
As the story goes, Johnson was fending off a challenger for his Senate seat. He told a campaign worker to go public with an allegation that his opponent had fathered a child by a black woman.
The campaign worker said, “We don’t have any evidence they he fathered a child by a black woman.”
Johnson’s reply was classic Democrat. He said, “I know. I just want him to deny it publicly.”
Here’s another example of Democrat thinking: In the midst of the Monica Lewinsky brouhaha, Nina Burleigh said, “I would be happy to give him [Bill Clinton] a blowjob just to thank him for keeping abortion legal. I think American women should be lining up with their Presidential kneepads on to show their gratitude for keeping the theocracy off our backs.”
Who is Nina Burleigh?
Nina Burleigh is a University of Chicago graduate, author, journalist, and an adjunct professor of journalism at Columbia University. Above all, Nina Burleigh is a good Democrat who openly admits that she would do anything to protect the “right” of a woman to murder her unborn children, and I mean anything.
But Burleigh didn’t stop there. She believes that all American women should be willing to line up wearing knee pads to give a blow job to a powerful man if they thought he would protect abortion “rights”.

Democrats are trying to Protect Abortion “Rights”
For Democrats, Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination to the Supreme Court is about abortion “rights”. They will say and do anything to protect the “right” of a woman to murder her unborn children with impunity. Assassinating the character of a good man, an innocent man publicly is not out-of-bounds for Democrats. It’s par for the course.
Never underestimate how low a Democrat will go. The bottom is not the limit.
Is this an Anita Hill dedux? I think it is. Democrats aren’t known for creativity. They couldn’t stop the Clarence Thomas nomination, but they won’t stop trying.
