Democrats are the Problem and not even Part of the Solution

The third day of confirmation hearings for Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh brought more arrests and charges, after 69 people were removed from the Capitol.

U.S. Capitol Police said on Thursday that 37 people were removed from the Senate Judiciary Committee’s room in the Hart Senate Office Building. They were all charged with disorderly conduct.

An additional 12 people were removed from outside the room for “participating in unlawful demonstration activities during a break.” They were charged with crowding, obstructing or incommoding.

Another 19 people were removed from the Hart Building and face similar charges.

Capitol Police said that one male was arrested inside the hearing and charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, simple assault and disruption of Congress.

This brings the total number of arrests since the start of the hearing to 74.

The protesters are part of a nationwide campaign to disrupt the confirmation process.

A broad coalition of activist groups, including abortion rights groups, gun control organizations and labor unions, has converged on Washington.

The demonstrators fear that Kavanaugh’s confirmation would shift the Supreme Court’s balance for years on issues like abortion rights, LGBT freedoms and gun control.

Democrats are Soul-Sick Human Beings

Demonstrators at Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s Senate confirmation hearings are taking orders from the Democrat Party.  To reach the gallery in the hearing room, they must have a pass that they obtain from someone in the Senate.

Democrats have Good Reasons to be Afraid

Democrats are upset.  Here’s why:

1. Donald Trump is president.
2. The president appoints members of the Supreme Court.
3. The balance in the Supreme Court is on the verge of shifting toward the conservative end of the political spectrum.
4. Conservatives tend to believe in the rule of law and basic human rights for all citizens.
5. The Democrat Party is so far from the political mainstream that Americans across the country are rejecting them and their platform.

President Trump is giving Democrats fits.  They used to love him, but then he shellacked Hillary Clinton and won the presidency.  For Democrats, that made him Public Enemy Number 1.

Worst of all from the Democrat Party point of view, President Trump is doing exactly what he said he would do on the campaign trail, and it’s working:

1. The economy is booming.
2. Regulations that have hamstrung the U.S. economy are being removed.
3. The job market is as good as it ever has been, and it’s getting better.
4. Lopsided trade deals are being renegotiated.
5. North Korea is beginning to behave.
6. Palestinians have been put on notice that they had better get their act together.
7. Europeans are ponying up to help pay for their own defense.
8. The U.N. is being exposed for what it is: a dysfunctional organization that’s anti-Israel to the core.
9. The U.S. is refusing to continue sending our tax dollars to countries and organizations that oppose every move the U.S. makes.
10. Judges who believe in our Constitution and the rule of law are being appointed at every level including the Supreme Court.

You would have to be an ignorant fool not to realize that things are getting better.  Democrats can’t win a battle of ideas, so they have resorted to obstruction and orchestrating acts of violence.

Slowly but surely, the American people are waking up to reality.  They are beginning to understand that the Democrat Party is the problem and not even part of the solution.  Democrats are trying to impose their perverted view of reality on the rest of us, and we won’t accept it.

Since the Democrat Party can’t win the battle of ideas, they are positioning the party to become the party of choice for every depraved and immoral group in our country.  Men who want to engage in sex with little girls is the latest group to claim privilege with Democrat Party protection.  Other groups are standing in the wings awaiting their turn at the front of the line.  If we vote for Democrats, they will get their turn.

Democrat Demonstrations are a Substitute for Substance

Since they have nothing substantive to share, Democrats have resorted to orchestrating attacks against everything President Trump does or says.  Their latest attack is against the appointment of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court.  They know they are going to lose, so they are behaving like spoiled brats and putting on outlandish displays for the rest of us to watch.

To me, the funniest part of the hearing so far has been watching Connecticut Senator Richard Blumenthal trying to trap Judge Kavanaugh in a gotcha moment. The senator was out of his league. He couldn’t ask an intelligent question, and when Kavanaugh refused to commit to actions that he might take as a Supreme Court Justice, Blumenthal became disoriented and confused.  After what seemed like an eternity to me, Blumenthal finally said, “I want to move on.”

I have to assume that Senator Blumenthal was oblivious to the fact that he looked like an idiot.  At least he had enough sense to move, but he came awfully close to looking like a complete moron.

Next on my list of funny incidents was New Jersey Senator Cory Booker releasing supposedly confidential documents and proudly saying, “I am Spartacus.”  Later, we learned that Booker was told in advance of his statement that the documents he supposedly “released” had been cleared already for public release.

Cory Booker isn’t Spartacus.  He’s just another Dumb Ass who wants to be president.

Since the Democrat Party lacks substance, its strategy is to rely on antics.  That will work for ignorant fools, but not for ordinary Americans.  The Democrat Party is about to learn another hard lesson.
