Donald Trump is Yahweh’s Man
The Wohl Museum is just off the plaza in front of Hurva Synagogue in the Old City of Jerusalem. It is the remains of priestly dwellings near the Temple Mount that were destroyed by Roman soldiers on the 9th of Av in 70 AD.
The priests were the government of the Jewish people. They enforced Halacha. Halacha is also called the traditions of the Jews and the Oral Law. For details, read The Trilogy.
Halacha is not Yahweh’s Law, but in the minds of the priests it superseded Yahweh’s Law. When the Messiah said, “You have let go of the commands of Elohim and are holding on to human traditions,” (Mark 7: 8) He was referring to this problem.
The opulence of the priestly dwellings is breathtaking. They lived like kings in palaces while most of the people they governed lived in small, single-room homes.
The priests’ wealth, power, social/political standing, and influence were dependent on the Jewish people’s willingness to accept their authority and Halacha. They hated the Messiah because He was telling the people that the priests had rejected Yahweh’s Law and replaced it with their own man-made law for personal gain.
The priests wanted the Messiah dead. They were afraid that if He continued telling people the truth, the masses would reject Halacha, destroy their livelihoods, and remove them from their positions of power and influence.
In 30 AD, the priests tried the Messiah before the Sanhedrin, found Him guilty of blasphemy or for simply saying “Yahweh”, and sentenced Him to death. According to Roman law, the priests could not impose the death penalty. They needed Pontius Pilate’s help to kill Him.
In 70 AD, 40 years after the Messiah’s crucifixion, Roman soldiers destroyed Jerusalem, killed as many Jewish people as they could find, and wiped out Halacha as a source of power for Jewish priests. For all practical purposes, that’s the situation in place today. A small percentage of Jewish people today give credence to Halacha.
President Trump is being attacked today by establishment politicians and the establishment media for the same reasons. He is threatening their livelihoods, power, influence, and social standing. They want him dead. They are doing anything and everything they can do to destroy him.
President Trump isn’t perfect, but he is Yahweh’s choice to restore law, order, and morality in the United States. The president’s critics will laugh at the thought of Yahweh choosing a man like Donald Trump to do His work. Their ignorance of Yahweh and His ways defies description.
Think about other men that Yahweh chose: Samson, Gideon, David, and Isaiah for example. They were far from perfect, but they were Yahweh’s people. He chose them to do His work.
If our nation rejects Yahweh’s person, we are rejecting Yahweh. I can’t overemphasize that fact. This is as serious as anything we will ever be a part of.
