The U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem is not the Problem
Today, the Israeli people are celebrating the opening of the U.S. embassy in Jerusalem. See “Trump predicts ‘big week’ as Jerusalem welcomes US Embassy”.
While Israelis celebrate, Israel’s enemies fume:
- Security forces on alert ahead of ‘sensitive’ Jerusalem events

- PA, Fatah call for West Bank clashes over US embassy move to Jerusalem
- IDF gears up for mass Gaza riots, warns that Hamas plans to ‘massacre’ Israelis
- Violence erupts as record number of Jews visit Temple Mount
The U.S. embassy in Jerusalem isn’t the problem. Israel’s enemies think Israel shouldn’t exist. In their minds, Israel is the problem. They think that anything lending credence to Israel’s right to exist justifies violent attacks.
Yahweh declared that Jerusalem is Israel’s capital. He said that Jerusalem will be Israel’s capital for eternity. Nothing can change that.
Yahweh also said that Jerusalem will be the issue to brings the nations of the world together for a final battle between the forces of good and the forces of evil. Nothing can change that, either.
Yahweh’s plan is taking shape. Today, we are witnessing a small part of His plan being played out.
HalleluYah! This is the day that Yahweh has made. Let’s rejoice and be glad in it.
Later, we will celebrate the final victory in Jerusalem. I would love to say, “Next year in Jerusalem,” but that’s Yahweh’s decision.
