Public Education in the U.S. Has Serious Problems

Fact 1:

See “U.S. students’ academic achievement still lags that of their peers in many other countries”.

Public schools in the U.S. aren’t getting the job done.

Fact 2:

See “Education Expenditures by Country”.

In the U.S., we spend more than enough money on public education to expect performance from our students.

Fact 3:

See “National School Walkout: Thousands Protest Against Gun Violence Across the U.S.”.

Public school teachers and administrators are playing politics with our children and our money.

Fact 4:

See “Public School Teachers Behind Violent Antifa Group”.

Public school teachers and administrators are becoming increasingly leftist and violent.  They are using our children and our money to do their bidding.

Fact 5:

See “Oklahoma and Kentucky Teachers Plan to Walk Out and Pressure Lawmakers”.

Teachers in our public schools are out of touch with reality.

Conclusion

People may think that the public schools where they live are different and better, but that’s a bad bet.

Public schools in the U.S. are not getting the job done. It’s not because we’re spending too little money on public education.

“The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me. Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.” (John 17: 22-24)
