Jordan’s King Abdullah isn’t Really a Muslim
I read an article in Jews News titled “King Abdullah of Jordan: ‘Maybe there’s a lack of understanding of Islam’ in Washington”. This is how the article begins:
There is indeed a lack of understanding of Islam in Washington, but not in the way King Abdullah is claiming.
Abdullah said: “It is not a religion of hate. We as Muslims believe in Jesus Christ as the Messiah. We believe in the Holy Virgin Mother. We believe in the Bible and the Torah, and I think this is the way that all of us were brought up. When we all greet each other as Arabs and Muslims, we say, ‘As-salamu alaykum’ — peace be unto you,” claiming that this phrase was “the basis of Islam.”
The King must know that none of that negates the presence of these passages in the Qur’an, or the doctrines of war that all mainstream sects and schools of Islamic jurisprudence have derived from them:
2:191-193: “And kill them wherever you come upon them, and drive them out from where they drove you out; persecution is worse than slaughter. But fight them not by the Holy Mosque until they should fight you there; then, if they fight you, kill them — such is the recompense of unbelievers, but if they give over, surely Allah is all-forgiving, all-compassionate. Fight them until there is no persecution and the religion is Allah’s; then if they give over, there shall be no enmity save for evildoers.”
4:89: “They wish that you should disbelieve as they disbelieve, and then you would be equal; therefore do not take friends from among them, until they emigrate in the way of Allah; then, if they turn their backs, seize them and kill them wherever you find them; do not take for yourselves any one of them as friend or helper.”
5:33: “This is the recompense of those who fight against Allah and His Messenger, and hasten about the earth to do corruption there: they shall be killed, or crucified, or their hands and feet shall be struck off on opposite sides; or they shall be exiled from the land. That is a degradation for them in this world; and in the world to come awaits them a mighty chastisement.”
8:12: “When your Lord was revealing to the angels, ‘I am with you; so confirm the believers. I shall cast terror into the hearts of the unbelievers; so strike the necks, and strike every finger of them!”
8:39: “Fight them, till there is no persecution and religion is all for Allah; then if they give over, surely Allah sees the things they do.”
8:60: “Make ready for them whatever force and strings of horses you can, to strike terror into the enemy of Allah and your enemy, and others besides them that you know not; Allah knows them. And whatever you spend in the way of Allah shall be repaid you in full; you will not be wronged.”
9:5: “Then, when the sacred months are over, kill the idolaters wherever you find them, and take them, and confine them, and lie in wait for them at every place of ambush. But if they repent, and perform the prayer, and pay the alms, then let them go their way; Allah is All-forgiving, All-compassionate.”
9:29: “Fight those who believe not in Allah and the Last Day and do not forbid what Allah and His Messenger have forbidden, and do not practice the religion of truth, even if they are of the People of the Book — until they pay the jizya with willing submission and feel themselves subdued.”
9:111: “Allah has bought from the believers their selves and their possessions against the gift of Paradise; they fight in the way of Allah; they kill, and are killed; that is a promise binding upon Allah in the Torah, and the Gospel, and the Koran; and who fulfils his covenant truer than Allah? So rejoice in the bargain you have made with Him; that is the mighty triumph.”
King Abdullah is Confused
King Abdullah claims to be a Muslim, but he’s not. He’s totally ignorant about his own religion. He knows even less about Christianity and Judaism.
Abdullah was born in a Muslim country and raised in a Muslim culture. That’s why he thinks he’s a Muslim. It’s as simple as that.
A very small percentage of people who claim to be Muslims know what’s in the Quran. Those who know the most about the Quran tend to be jihadists, because they believe what the Quran says and try to do what it says.
I call most people who claim to be Muslims MINOs: Muslim in Name Only. King Abdullah is a MINO.
I’m not picking on Muslims. The same is true for Christians and Jews. Most Jews don’t know what’s in the Tanach/Old Testament, and most Christians don’t know what’s in the Old Testament or the New Testament. Just like King Abdullah, they were brought up in homes where they were told what they were, and that’s the extent of their knowledge about their “faith”.
In reality, most Christians are CINOs, and most Jews are JINOs.
Actually, Jews are different, because people are born Jewish. It’s hereditary. When I refer to them as JINOs, I mean that they don’t know what’s in the Tanach or attempt to do what Yahweh said. They rely more on tradition, Halacha or the Oral Law, and those traditions didn’t come from Yahweh.
I knew Yahweh as a small boy. That was His doing, not mine. I knew Him long before I knew what was in the Bible. As a boy, He showed me a few things in the Scriptures, but when I was in my 20s He showed me much more.
In my 20s, Yahweh told me about things I would do for Him in the course of my life. I believed Him, but I had no idea how He would bring it about. I’ve already done some of the things that He told me I would do, but not everything.
Yahweh made His presence known to me in many ways. Some of them were very peculiar, but they were always inspiring.
As a small boy, I conversed with Yahweh. That seemed normal to me, but I soon realized that it wasn’t normal. As a boy, I understood that you can’t determine what people’s true beliefs are by what they tell you they believe. You must look at what they do.
People who have faith in Yahweh actually do what He says we are supposed to do. No one is perfect, and I’m not talking about perfection. I’m talking about movement toward Yahweh by following His instructions. It starts with the Bible, but that’s just the beginning.
Yahweh created each one of us for a purpose, to do specific things. Over time, He tells us what those things are. For me, it included writing a book about His Name.
The title of the book is His Name is Yahweh. I didn’t know that I was supposed to write it until I was in my late-40s. I didn’t finish writing it until I was in my mid-50s. I revised it in my mid-60s when I understood more. His Name is Yahweh: Revised Edition removes the use of the word “God” when referring to Yahweh, because God is the Name of a pagan deity. The correct word for Yahweh is Elohim, but He prefers Yahweh.
In my mid-60s, Yahweh showed me more things to write about. The Trilogy addresses those issues. It’s an eye-opener, because it challenges several important things that Christians and Jews are taught. Many things that Christians and Jews are taught are wrong.
Yahweh takes us where we are no matter where we are, and He moves us closer to Him each day. It’s remarkable. It started for me as a small boy, but I know people who didn’t meet Yahweh until they were much older.
Everybody that Yahweh chooses has a role to play, things to do for Him. For me, it included writing those books. Over time, He tells us what we are supposed to do. If we have faith in Him, we do what He tells us, and that’s what makes us faithful followers. Nothing else distinguishes us from the pack.
King Abdullah is confused. He isn’t really a Muslim, but he doesn’t know it. Iranian leaders are real Muslims. You can tell by what they do. Abdullah needs to get serious and realize that he never can be a Muslim. His heart isn’t in it.
I think King Abdullah is a Moabite. King David’s great grandmother was a Moabite, too. Her name was Ruth. Yahweh promised to bless Moabites because of her. It’s time for King Abdullah to recognize who he really is and act accordingly. He’s definitely not a Muslim.
