“Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,” says Yahweh Sabaoth. (Zechariah 4: 6)
Fake News has Found a Home in the Hearts and Minds of Democrats
The 2016 presidential election elevated “fake news” in the hearts and minds of Democrats and their water totters in the mainstream media. After publishing and talking about the huge, insurmountable lead in the polls that Hillary Clinton enjoyed up to the day of the election, they felt like idiots when Donald Trump won with a landslide margin in the Electoral College.
They said it couldn’t happen. They told us that Hillary was a shoo-in. What were they thinking?
To answer that question, a simple truth needs to be understood. Democrat pollsters are very good at what they do. The desperation in the voices of Democrats on the campaign trail, in so-called “news articles”, and on mainstream television networks revealed that Democrats knew they were heading for a shellacking.
So, why lie about it?
- To discourage Trump supporters.
- To encourage Hillary supporters.
All that manure they shoveled out up to the election was fake news designed to bring about those results. It didn’t work.
The election is behind us. Donald Trump is President of the United States. So what is the response of Democrats and their flunkies in the mainstream media?
More fake news, of course. It worked so well for them during the election that they had to give it another try.
Thus far, the most significant piece of fake news after the election has been the so-called “Russian hacks” who stole the election from Hillary and gave it to Donald Trump. To put a finer point on it, they tell us that Vladimir Putin is the culprit. Problem is it didn’t happen.
For the most part, those “hacked emails” came from the Democrat National Committee and John Podesta, Hillary’s campaign chairman. They weren’t hacked. They were leaked by insiders.
Obama knew it. Hillary knew it. Hillary’s toadies in the mainstream media knew it. Obama even admitted it during his last (thankfully) press conference as president.
So why tell more lies and pretend that they are news?
The answer is simple: Democrats are stuck in a rut. They still have confidence in the tricks of the past despite their humiliating losses over the past eight years.
Elections at the state level are a harbinger of things to come at the federal level. At the state level, Democrats are weaker than they have been for decades, and things are getting worse for them, not better.
Bottom line: the writing is on the wall and they know it, but they don’t know what to do about it.
Will Democrats ever change course?
Of course they will, but only after several more humiliating defeats. They don’t learn very fast.
The piece of fake news that is getting traction among Democrats right now is that Donald Trump’s approval rating is abysmally low. They tell us that it’s the lowest in recorded history for incoming presidents.
I don’t know what Trump’s approval rating is, but I know what it isn’t. It’s not what Democrats tell us it is in their fake news stories.
I read the Washington Post. Call it a habit. The Post was my daily newspaper for 25 years. Old habits are hard to break.
The Washington Post has become a rag. It’s just another media mouthpiece for the Democrat Party. Even the pretense of journalism has been abandoned. The same is true for the New York Times and virtually every other major newspaper in the United States. Thankfully, their readership and profitability are declining rapidly.
They publish fake news, and people are waking up to reality. Think of the masses in the U.S. as a slumbering giant. He’s hard to wake up, but once he’s awake, he doesn’t go back to sleep very quickly.
With that thought in mind, I want to encourage those of you who voted for Donald Trump not to pay attention to the mainstream media. It’s a distraction. It adds little or nothing to your knowledge base and might cause you to worry.
If you want to worry about something, worry about Donald Trump not living up to his promises. I’m not suggesting that he won’t live up to them. In fact, I think he will live up to them, but if he doesn’t live up to them, there will be hell to pay.
There you have it. Take it to heart.
“If My people who are called by My Name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7: 14)
Change that Yahweh calls “good” begins in the hearts of believers—people who are recognizable because they are different.
We are different because we belong to Him and are called by His Name. We are Yahweh’s people, His followers.

“The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me. Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.” (John 17: 22-24)
