It has everything to do with Islam
While Palestinians and their enablers in the West attack Israelis for their so-called “illegal settlements”, Palestinians are busily building illegal settlements. This is what Bassam Tawil had to say in “The Real Illegal Settlements”:
As the international community continues to slam Israel for construction in Jewish settlement communities, Palestinians are quietly engaging in massive construction of entire neighborhoods in many parts of the West Bank and Jerusalem. In addition to overlooking the Palestinian building project, the West has clearly been neglecting a crucial difference between the two efforts: while the construction in the Jewish settlements of the West Bank and neighborhoods of Jerusalem has long been carried out within the frame of the law and in accordance with proper licenses issued by the relevant authorities, the Palestinian construction is illegal in every respect.
In this behind-the-scenes endeavor, which does not meet even the most minimum standards required by engineers, architects and housing planners, the Palestinian goal is to create irreversible facts on the ground.
Iran is a major player in illegal Palestinian settlement activity, although a quiet one at this point. Iran is the primary backer of anti-West movements around the globe, particularly those in Europe where European leaders are committing slow-motion suicide by not dealing with Islamists. Majid Rafizadeh said this in “Iran to Trump: Death to America Will Live On”:
Ideologically speaking, Iran’s hardliners, primarily Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and senior officials of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) who enjoy the final say in Iran’s domestic and foreign policies, have made it clear that Iran will not change the core pillars of its religious and revolutionary establishment: Anti-Americanism and hatred towards the “Great Satan” and the “Little Satan”, Israel.
Supporters of Ayatollah Khamenei and the IRGC enthusiastically shouted “Death to America” in response to a recent speech that Khamenei gave, applauding the 1979 hostage-taking and takeover of the US Embassy in Tehran.
Iran’s major state newspapers carried anti-American headlines this week, quoting the Supreme Leader. In his latest public speech to thousands of people, which was televised via Iran’s state TV, Khamenei made it clear that Trump’s presidency will cause “no difference” to Iran-US relationships. Khamenei pointed out that, “We have no judgment on this election because America is the same America”. In his speech, Khamenei attacked President-elect Donald Trump and the American people. The Ayatollah called the US election “a spectacle for exposing their crimes and debacles.”
Iranian leaders are afraid of Donald Trump because they believe he will do what European leaders should do. Their fear is justified. Trump is willing to call their bluff, and they know it. Their bravado is intended to hide the fact that they are soiling their Depends®.
Democrats and other ignorant people in the West keep telling us that the myriad problems around the world associated with Islamist terrorists have nothing to do with Islam. That’s ridiculous and bordering on insane. This is the way Judith Bergman explained it in “‘Nothing to do with Islam’?”:
For the first time, a European establishment figure from the Church has spoken out against an argument exonerating ISIS and frequently peddled by Western political and cultural elites. The Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, speaking in France on November 17, said that dealing with the religiously-motivated violence in Europe”requires a move away from the argument that has become increasingly popular, which is to say that ISIS is ‘nothing to do with Islam’… Until religious leaders stand up and take responsibility for the actions of those who do things in the name of their religion, we will see no resolution.”
Archbishop Welby also said that, “It’s very difficult to understand the things that impel people to some of the dreadful actions that we have seen over the last few years unless you have some sense of religious literacy”.
“Religious literacy” has indeed been in short supply, especially on the European continent. Nevertheless, all over the West, people with little-to-no knowledge of Islam, including political leaders, journalists and opinion makers, have all suddenly become “experts” on Islam and the Quran, assuring everybody that ISIS and other similarly genocidal terrorist groups have nothing to do with the purported “religion of peace,” Islam.
Bergman is right. People who know nothing about Islam are behind the effort to distance Islam the religion from its most ardent adherents. That provides cover for Democrats who have been so bold/stupid that many of them are promoting Keith Ellison for Democrat National Committee Chair. This is what The Algemeiner had to say in “Keith Ellison’s Disinformation Campaign”:
Confronted by his own words and facing a direct threat to his bid to become the next Democratic National Committee (DNC) chairman, Congressman Keith Ellison flagrantly lied in a prepared statement on Thursday.
Two days earlier, the Investigative Project on Terrorism released audio of Ellison during a 2010 political fundraiser, criticizing what he saw as the inappropriate and disproportionate influence Israel carries over American foreign policy.
“The United States foreign policy in the Middle East is governed by what is good or bad through a country of 7 million people. A region of 350 million all turns on a country of 7 million,” said Ellison, D-Minn. “Does that make sense? Is that logic? Right? When the Americans who trace their roots back to those 350 million get involved, everything changes. Can I say that again?”
There can be no doubt about what Ellison plans to do if he becomes DNC chair. He would have the enthusiastic support of Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, John Kerry, Elizabeth Warren, and a host of other Democrats who helped to create the problems we face.
With Donald Trump in the Oval Office, finally we will have an opportunity to do the right thing. That’s been sorely lacking for the past 8 years.
