If you like your insurance plan, you can keep your insurance plan. Really?
No one can forget the promises that were made to us while Obamacare was being shoved down our throats. Among them was the promise that we could keep our insurance plan if we liked it.
That was a shameless lie.
No one can forget House Speaker Nancy Pelosi telling us that we wouldn’t know what was in Obamacare until we saw it. Well, we’ve seen it and we don’t like it.
That’s the truth.
Obamacare was doomed to failure from the get-go. Why?
It was doomed because it never was intended to be the end product. Obamacare was created to move the U.S. a step closer to socialized medicine. By creating a monstrosity, Obama and his co-conspirators in the House and Senate believed that we would demand socialized medicine if the cost of healthcare delivery rose to unaffordable levels.
That day has arrived. While health insurance premium increases vary by company, all of them are rising, and they are rising fast.
UnitedHealthcare, one of our nation’s largest health insurance providers, dropped out of Obamacare. Why?
The reason is simple. Obamacare is an unmitigated disaster.
Who is responsible for this mess?
Obama is the main culprit, but he couldn’t have done it alone. He needed help from Democrats, and they gave it to him.
In 2009, Democrats were the majority party in both the House and the Senate. Every Democrat knew what was happening. All of them knew that the American people would howl when the pain was too much to endure. All of them believed that we would demand a fix at some point that would enable them to do what they have wanted to do all along—shove single-payer, socialized medicine down our throats.
One of Obama’s co-conspirators is running for president: Hillary Clinton. She was an advocate of Obamacare from her perch in the State Department, and now she wants to fix Obamacare by making a few changes at the margins.
Donald Trump wants to scrap Obamacare and design a plan that makes sense. That means real collaboration between doctors, insurance companies, and patients. That could have been done in 2009 and it should have been done in 2009, but it wasn’t. We are where we are thanks to Democrats.
That’s not conjecture and it’s not a partisan political statement. It’s a statement of fact.
Hillary Clinton can’t be trusted now any more than she could be trusted in 2009. If you doubt that, just ask the survivors of the Benghazi attack. They survived despite Hillary Clinton. Many of the people with whom they endured a hellish nightmare died thanks to Hillary.
Bottom line: Hillary is a liar. She can’t be trusted, period! The deaths of innocent Americans mean nothing to her if she can advance her objectives. Foremost among them are the accumulation of wealth and power.
We need to change the status quo in Washington. Hillary Clinton is the personification of the status quo in Washington. She needs to go. I think she needs to go to jail, but I’ll leave that to President Trump.
Donald Trump is far from perfect, but he’s not an establishment Republican and he’s not a Democrat. For the first time in my lifetime, we have an opportunity to make real change in the way our government does business. We may not get another opportunity to fix this mess.
Join me. Vote Trump. There are plenty of good reasons to vote for him, but a vote against Hillary is enough justification to vote for Trump.
