The Blaze—‘Radical Islam,’ ‘Black Lives Matter,’ and ‘Justifying Evil’:

In the wake of the Paris attacks, the debate about terrorism has taken its usual turn into overblown rhetoric. And there are two instances of it in particular that need to be challenged.

Before we get to the first one, think about the “Black Lives Matter” slogan. Many people have taken offense at the expression: why should the focus be on black lives? Don’t all lives matter?

The rejoinder has been that, of course, all lives matter, but African Americans are facing problems that other people in the country aren’t facing. They get unequal treatment at the hands of law enforcement, and so “Black Lives Matter” is supposed to remind everyone that African Americans ought to be treated equally.

Leave aside whether the Black Lives Matter movement is accurately describing the situation, that’s what the phrase conveys. As President Barack Obama explained, the expression is meant to highlight that, “there is a specific problem that is happening in the African American community that’s not happening in other communities. And that is a legitimate issue that we’ve got to address.”

Which brings us to the phrase, “radical Islam.” Some of the same people who support the Black Lives Matter movement (for example, Hillary Clinton) refuse to say we’re at war with “radical Islam” on the grounds that it declares war with Islam in general. But of course it doesn’t mean anything like that, it simply means being at war with people who – like Al Qaeda or the Islamic State – will use violence to force Islam on others.

And, let’s face it, just like the phrase “Black Lives Matter” highlights, there is currently a specific problem that is happening in the Muslim community that’s not happening in other communities – say, among Christians or Buddhists – when it comes to people resorting to horrific terrorism in order to impose their religion on others.

As President Obama would say, that is a legitimate issue that we’ve got to address.

“Radical Islam” isn’t tarring all Muslims as terrorists (or vice versa) any more than “Black Lives Matter” is espousing black supremacy, just like opposing “white supremacy” or “bad cops” doesn’t mean being opposed to all white people or all police officers. Wouldn’t it be nice if Clinton and her compatriots could keep consistent on this?

SnyderTalk Comment:

LifeNews—“Abortion is the leading cause of death in the United States, but for black Americans abortion causes more deaths every year than every other cause of death combined. Now is the time for this fact to be addressed in the media and in the classroom.”

Black Lives Matter organizers have problems.  The first one should be the most obvious, but it’s not.

Blacks more than any other group in our society suffer at the hands of abortionists.  Some people call black abortion an organized attempt at genocide.  It may be just that.

According to blackgenocide.org, since 1973,

  • 245,322 blacks have died from AIDS,
  • 354,392 blacks have died from violent crimes,
  • 447,803 blacks have died from accidents,
  • 2,568,040 blacks have died from cancer,
  • 2,715,416 blacks died from heart disease, and
  • more than 15,500,000 died from abortion.

“Several years ago, when 17,000 aborted babies were found in a dumpster outside a pathology laboratory in Los, Angeles, California, some 12-15,000 were observed to be black.” Erma Clardy Craven (deceased), Social Worker and Civil Rights Leader

I’m not denying that racism exists in the U.S., but it’s less prevalent today than it used to be and things are getting better, not worse.  As the statistics above show, abortion is the most important problem facing blacks in the U.S.  If BLM organizers were serious, they would address it.  The fact that they don’t suggests that they have a hidden agenda that has nothing to do with black lives.

The second problem is equally troubling, because it highlights the hidden agenda and suggests sinister motives.  BLM has joined forces with radical Islam.  See “CAIR Joins Black Lives Matter Movement”.

CAIR is closely associated the Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood.  Both groups are Islamist terrorist groups that are dedicated to the destruction of anything that doesn’t mesh with their version of Islam.  That includes the United States, Europe, and the entire Western world.

The union of CAIR and BLM speaks volumes about what BLM is really trying to accomplish.  The renegade murderer in Dallas who gunned down 5 police officers took a page out of the Islamist playbook.  That speaks volumes, too.

At the memorial service for the 5 slain Dallas police officers, President Obama mentioned himself 45 times in his short speech.  He’s as much narcissist as demagogue.  For the past 7+ years, we have endured the most openly racist president I have ever seen.  He happens to be half white and half black.  He says that he’s not a Muslim, but he trumpets Islam continually while slamming Christianity.

What does that tell us?

President Obama more than anyone else in our nation has contributed to the violence on the streets that puts every police officer and the rest of us at risk.  He has incited black racists and radical Islamists.  Not surprisingly, Obama is a BLM and an abortion advocate.

Some people say he’s smart.  If he is, show me the evidence.

“The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me. Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.” (John 17: 22-24)
