WWNT Radio—Democratic Party a “Dead Carcass” for Stifling Debate:

Right out of the gate, Sanders explicitly apologized Clinton for the staff members who accessed her data during a breach in a DNC vendor’s computer software.

Polls have consistently shown a growing age gap in the fight for the Democratic nomination: Older Democrats have lined up with 68-year old Hillary Clinton, while younger voters are so far choosing to stand behind Sanders, the 74-year old self-described democratic socialist.

Last week, when his campaign surpassed the 2 million contribution marks, the Vermont senator praised the “people power” supporting his campaign, saying: “You can’t level the playing field with Wall Street banks and billionaires by taking their money”.

On Friday, the Democratic National Committee suspended the Bernie Sanders campaign’s access to a critical database after finding his staffers improperly viewed front-runner Hillary Clinton’s proprietary information when a computer glitch made it briefly available. “Yes, we could get rid of Assad tomorrow, but that would create another political vacuum that would benefit ISIS”. In fact, Sanders’ current fundraising pace means Clinton may now be beaten in the final fundraising quarter of the year, the New York Times reports.

Clinton campaign communications director Jen Palmieri told Stephanopoulos on Sunday that Clinton “didn’t have a particular video in mind” when she made the comment. Arming more people, I think, is not the appropriate response to terrorism.

SnyderTalk Comment: Calling the Democrat Party a “dead carcass” for any reason is not accurate.  In fact, it’s dangerous.

The Democrat Party is alive and well.

I won’t go into lengthy explanations here about the things the Democrat Party has done and is doing to obliterate the moral underpinnings of the United States.  If you are a SnyderTalk reader, you have seen my views before.  If you are not a regular reader, you should be.

Today, I want to warn you that pretending the Democrat Party is dead is inviting trouble.  Few in the Democrat Party thought Barack Obama had any hope of winning the 2008 Democrat nomination for president, but he did.  Mrs. Clinton was a shoo-in, or so they thought. Two terms later, Mrs. Clinton is still trying to get what she thinks she deserves.

When Barack Obama ran for president, he said that he was a strong supporter or Israel and marriage between a man and a woman.  With one year left in his term of office, he has abandoned Israel and done an about-face on same sex marriage.

Obama was lying in 2008.  What he did as president is what he believed all along.  He said the right things to get elected and did what he wanted to do as president.

Who knows what else Obama will do before January 2017?

We can’t ignore the fact that roughly 30% of Americans support everything Obama and Clinton stand for.  About the same percentage of our voters disagree vehemently with them.  The 40% in the middle can be persuaded to go in any direction.

If the 30% of voters who are opposed to gross immorality sit on their hands because they think the battle is over already, the 30% who support the Party of Perversity will win.  They may be dumb asses, but they know how to take advantage of ignorant opponents.

It is ignorant and dangerous to go into a political battle thinking that the outcome is certain.  Nothing is certain until all the votes are counted.

In politics, the battle is never over.  That’s something immoral people understand.  Moral people don’t.

“Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty.” Wendell Phillips.

CNNChristians are disappearing from the Middle East: Perfumed smoke fills the aisle as the priest swings incense back and forth in the thurible, a small metal canister suspended from chains that holds the pungent smoke. It is something priest Bishare al Shemani has done for years, but this year he is doing it in a makeshift church thousands of miles from his home church. It is not by choice but necessity.

Raymond Ibrahim—Grim Life for Christians in Muslim Pakistan: The U.S. State Department lists only nine nations as “Countries of Particular Concern” (CPC) — a designation for those nations considered to be the worst violators of religious freedom. These include governments that “engage in or tolerate” systematic, ongoing, and unspeakable violations of religious freedom.

Alan Craig—Christians in Nigeria: Having Nothing but Everything: In Jos, in the middle-belt of Nigeria. despite the proliferating Christmas decorations in homes and churches, peace on earth and goodwill between communities continues to be in short supply. Across northern Nigeria, the church is facing an existential threat from the violence and intimidation of Islam in its various forms.

Al-ArabiyaAnglican leader warns of Christian ‘elimination’ in Middle East: Anglican leader Justin Welby on Friday said Christians faced “elimination” in the Middle East by ISIS, labelling the group a modern-day version of the tyrannical biblical king Herod.

Jewish Business NewsCloser Russia-Iran Cooperation to Change Geopolitical Situation in Middle East: Russia is forestalling competition on the Iranian market after the sanctions against Teheran are lifted and is building up its military, trade and economic cooperation with the Islamic Republic as a partner in the anti-terror coalition, experts polled by TASS say. Russian President Vladimir Putin gave instructions on December 21 to set up a study group for establishing a free trade area between the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and Iran. At the same time, the Eurasian Economic Commission, which is the EAEU’s executive body, has decided to accelerate the consideration of the issue of reducing import duties on agricultural produce from Iran.

ForbesRedraw Country Lines In The Middle East: The Middle East is unraveling. The artificial borders drawn by Europeans after World War I are dissolving along ethnic, tribal and religious lines. The nominal states of Iraq, Syria, Yemen and Libya have ceased to exist in practical terms. Lebanon and Bahrain are on the brink. The rise and prospective reunification of Kurdistan threatens the present borders of Iran and Turkey. Nuclear proliferation is lurking in the background.

Fox NewsHouston mosque fire considered to be suspicious: A two-alarm fire that started inside a Houston mosque on Friday is considered to be suspicious, according to officials as they try to find out what started the blaze.

Jerusalem PostMember of British Muslim family barred from US was refused entry to Israel: A member of a British Muslim family that was prevented from flying to the United States for a trip to Disneyland had been refused entry to Israel two years ago.

Lars Hedegaard—Jihad: “All the Fault of the West!”: It was not supposed to have happened this way. In 1995 a number of EU member states signed the Schengen Agreement, integrated into European Union law in 1999. The signatory powers promised to abandon their internal border protection in exchange for a promise by the EU authorities that they would police Europe’s external borders. Then the EU authorities, while demanding that the Schengen states keep their borders open, spectacularly failed to honor their part of the agreement. There can be little doubt that the EU packed up, walked out and left its populations to their own devices.

USA TodayBill Clinton’s first home damaged in suspected arson: Former president Bill Clinton’s first boyhood home in Hope, Ark., was damaged by fire early Friday in what authorities suspect is arson.

RTTurkish banks & government sites under ‘intense’ attacks on Christmas holidays: The attacks on Turkish servers have been persistent in recent weeks, but on Christmas day Turkish banks suffered a website outage and reportedly saw sporadic disruption to credit card transactions. Isbank, Garanti and Ziraat Bank were among the targets, local media reported.

Jerusalem PostTurkey to Israel: No renewal of ties without unlimited access to Gaza: Turkey is demanding that Israel permit unfettered access to the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip as one of the conditions before a formal renewal of diplomatic ties between Jerusalem and Ankara, according to a report in Saturday editions of the Hurriyet Daily News.

Burak Bekdil—Turkey’s Dangerous Ambitions: It is the same old Middle East story: The Shiite accuse Sunnis of passionately following sectarian policies; Sunnis accuse the Shiite of passionately following sectarian polices; and they are both right. Except that Turkey’s pro-Sunni sectarian policies are taking an increasingly perilous turn as they push Turkey into new confrontations, adding newcomers to an already big list of hostile countries.

Washington PostChina ‘expels’ French journalist for terrorism coverage: China didn’t like Ursula Gauthier’s reporting — so it is kicking her out of the country. The Chinese Foreign Ministry confirmed Saturday that the French journalist, a Beijing correspondent for French news magazine L’Obs, will be expelled from the country over an essay she wrote questioning the Chinese government’s rhetoric on terrorism.

The GuardianPope’s Christmas Day homily condemns ‘monstrous evil’ fuelling refugee crisis: “Only God’s mercy can free humanity from the many forms of evil, at times monstrous evil, which selfishness spawns in our midst,” he told worshippers gathered in St Peter’s Square.

SnyderTalk Comment: It’s not selfish to recognize that we are in a war and that our enemy is trying to infiltrate our borders.  It’s good sense.

Times GazetteSuper Strong And Light Supermetal Created In the Labs of University of California: Scientists have created an exceptionally strong yet still light-weight material that could be a huge boon in the future. At left, a deformed sample of pure metal; at right, the strong new metal made of magnesium with silicon carbide nanoparticles.

Lawrence A. Franklin—Iran’s Next Supreme Leader?: While U.S. policymakers, media talking-heads and many think tank pundits are fixated on the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and Tehran’s nuclear weapons projects, the focus of Iran’s power-brokers is on regime continuity and leadership succession. Iran’s next parliamentary elections are scheduled for February 26, 2016.

14--Blessings from Revelation 2

Blessings in the Book of Revelation is a book that you need to read, especially now.  There are blessings throughout the Scriptures but Revelation is the only book in the Bible actually containing a specific blessing for reading it. It’s repeated twice, once at the beginning and again at the end. This is the reason that I believe Revelation should be the first step toward studying biblical prophecy. Though not easy to do, Revelation can be broken down and understood by anyone, not just the academic elite. So, Revelation’s blessings are for everyone.  Click here to order the eBook.  Click here to order the paperback.
