Isaiah 31: 3-4—“Now the Egyptians are men and not God, and their horses are flesh and not spirit; so Yahweh will stretch out His hand, and he who helps will stumble and he who is helped will fall, and all of them will come to an end together. For thus says Yahweh to me, ‘As the lion or the young lion growls over his prey, against which a band of shepherds is called out, and he will not be terrified at their voice nor disturbed at their noise, so will Yahweh Sabaoth come down to wage war on Mount Zion and on its hill.’”

Shalu shalom Yerushalayim: Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. (Psalm 122: 6)

Scripture of the day:

Isaiah 31: 3-4—“Now the Egyptians are men and not God, and their horses are flesh and not spirit; so Yahweh will stretch out His hand, and he who helps will stumble and he who is helped will fall, and all of them will come to an end together.  For thus says Yahweh to me, ‘As the lion or the young lion growls over his prey, against which a band of shepherds is called out, and he will not be terrified at their voice nor disturbed at their noise, so will Yahweh Sabaoth come down to wage war on Mount Zion and on its hill.’”

SnyderTalk Commentary: The picture above is the place where Yahweh will wage war: the Temple Mount. This picture shows the Eastern Gate from atop the Temple Mount.  Due to its significance, the Muslim authorities who have day-to-day control of the Temple Mount won’t allow Christians and Jews to come very close to it. Muslims are free to come and go as they please.

If the authorities catch you praying on the Temple Mount, you will be arrested, or there could be a riot. I always laugh when I think about the edict against prayer on the Temple Mount for Christians and Jews. I guess if you squat down and touch your face to the floor every time you pray, you can’t appreciate how personal Yahweh is. I pray all the time on the Temple Mount, even while I smile and nod my head at the guards who like to keep a close eye on me.

SnyderTalk Commentary: We would do well to keep in mind that President Obama’s domestic terrorist friend, Bill Ayers, is involved with IHH.  It looks as though he’s focusing on international terrorist activities now.  This is a question that every US citizen needs to ponder.  How intimately involved is our president in Ayers’ activities?  In Turkey, thinking people are beginning to ask questions about the cozy relationship between PM Erdogan and IHH.  We should be at least as curious about the relationship our president has with known terrorists.
