Europe is going down the Tubes

These two articles tell the tale about Europe in crystal-clear fashion:

  • Europe’s New Media Darlings: Terrorists—“What would have happened if the city council of Jerusalem had conferred the honorary citizenship on Italy’s Mafia leader, Totò Riina, calling him a “political prisoner”? What would have happened if the city council of Tel Aviv had named a street after Giovanni Brusca, the Mafia butcher who kidnapped and tortured the 11-year-old son of another mafioso who had betrayed him, and then dissolved the boy’s body in acid? The Italian government would have vehemently protested. With Palestinian terrorists, however, there is another standard, as if in the eyes of many of Italy’s city councils, terror against Israeli Jews is actually justified.”
  • France: ‘The Jungle’ Migrant Camp—“French President François Hollande has vowed ‘definitively, entirely and rapidly’ to dismantle ‘The Jungle,’ a squalid migrant camp in the northern port town of Calais, by the end of this year. Hollande made the announcement during a September 26 visit to Calais — but not to the camp itself — amid growing unease over France’s escalating migrant crisis, which has become a central issue in the country’s presidential campaign.  The French government plans to relocate the migrants at the camp to so-called reception centers in other parts of the country. But it remains unclear how the government will prevent migrants from returning to Calais.”

Italy and France aren’t the only countries in Europe that are living through the Muslim “refugee” nightmare and suffering the effects of decades of misguided immigration policies.  It’s worse in Sweden and Germany, for example.

That makes these articles even more enlightening.  The problem is growing in every European country, including those deemed to be less attractive to the military-age males who constitute the majority of the Muslim “refugees” invading the continent and the Islamist horde that has already attained citizenship.

Europe is going down the tubes, and most of her political leaders don’t get it.  That’s not a bigoted assessment of a religious group.  It’s a statement of fact.  When people vow to destroy your country, it’s best to take them seriously.

Hungary’s political leaders are waking up to reality.  So what has been the response from the brighter political lights in the “more advanced” European countries?  They are saying that Hungary is loaded with Islamophobes and bigots.

If you live in the United States, that sounds familiar.  Hillary Clinton called people who have a better grip on reality than she does “irredeemable deplorables”.  I wish that only people like Obama and Hillary had to pay the price for their stupidity, but that’s not the way the world works.  All of us will pay the price.

Europe as we knew it is gone.  The U.S. isn’t far behind.  If Hillary is elected, we will catch up with Europe in a hurry.

Sukkot: The Festival of Tabernacles or the Feast of Booths

Leviticus 23: 33-44:

33 Again Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, 34 “Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, ‘On the fifteenth of this seventh month is the Feast of Booths for seven days to Yahweh. 35 On the first day is a holy convocation; you shall do no laborious work of any kind. 36 For seven days you shall present an offering by fire to Yahweh. On the eighth day you shall have a holy convocation and present an offering by fire to Yahweh; it is an assembly. You shall do no laborious work.

37 These are the appointed times of Yahweh which you shall proclaim as holy convocations, to present offerings by fire to Yahweh—burnt offerings and grain offerings, sacrifices and drink offerings, each day’s matter on its own day—38 besides those of the Sabbaths of Yahweh, and besides your gifts and besides all your votive and freewill offerings, which you give to Yahweh.

39 On exactly the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the crops of the land, you shall celebrate the feast of Yahweh for seven days, with a rest on the first day and a rest on the eighth day. 40 Now on the first day you shall take for yourselves the foliage of beautiful trees, palm branches and boughs of leafy trees and willows of the brook, and you shall rejoice before Yahweh your Elohim for seven days. 41 You shall thus celebrate it as a feast to Yahweh for seven days in the year. It shall be a perpetual statute throughout your generations; you shall celebrate it in the seventh month. 42 You shall live in booths for seven days; all the native-born in Israel shall live in booths, 43 so that your generations may know that I had the sons of Israel live in booths when I brought them out from the land of Egypt. I am Yahweh your Elohim.’” 44 So Moses declared to the sons of Israel the appointed times of Yahweh.

Zechariah 14: 1-21

1 Behold, a day is coming for Yahweh when the spoil taken from you will be divided among you. 2 For I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem to battle, and the city will be captured, the houses plundered, the women ravished and half of the city exiled, but the rest of the people will not be cut off from the city. 3 Then Yahweh will go forth and fight against those nations, as when He fights on a day of battle. 4 In that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which is in front of Jerusalem on the east; and the Mount of Olives will be split in its middle from east to west by a very large valley, so that half of the mountain will move toward the north and the other half toward the south. 5 You will flee by the valley of My mountains, for the valley of the mountains will reach to Azel; yes, you will flee just as you fled before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then Yahweh, my Elohim, will come, and all the holy ones with Him!

6 In that day there will be no light; the luminaries will dwindle. 7 For it will be a unique day which is known to Yahweh, neither day nor night, but it will come about that at evening time there will be light.

8 And in that day living waters will flow out of Jerusalem, half of them toward the eastern sea and the other half toward the western sea; it will be in summer as well as in winter.

9 And Yahweh will be king over all the earth; in that day Yahweh will be the only one, and His Name the only one.

10 All the land will be changed into a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem; but Jerusalem will rise and remain on its site from Benjamin’s Gate as far as the place of the First Gate to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the king’s wine presses. 11 People will live in it, and there will no longer be a curse, for Jerusalem will dwell in security.

12 Now this will be the plague with which Yahweh will strike all the peoples who have gone to war against Jerusalem; their flesh will rot while they stand on their feet, and their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongue will rot in their mouth. 13 It will come about in that day that a great panic from Yahweh will fall on them; and they will seize one another’s hand, and the hand of one will be lifted against the hand of another. 14 Judah also will fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the surrounding nations will be gathered, gold and silver and garments in great abundance. 15 So also like this plague will be the plague on the horse, the mule, the camel, the donkey and all the cattle that will be in those camps.

16 Then it will come about that any who are left of all the nations that went against Jerusalem will go up from year to year to worship the King, Yahweh Sabaoth, and to celebrate Sukkot. 17 And it will be that whichever of the families of the earth does not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, Yahweh Sabaoth, there will be no rain on them. 18 If the family of Egypt does not go up or enter, then no rain will fall on them; it will be the plague with which Yahweh smites the nations who do not go up to celebrate Sukkot. 19 This will be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all the nations who do not go up to celebrate Sukkot.

20 In that day there will be inscribed on the bells of the horses, “Holy to Yahweh.” And the cooking pots in Yahweh’s house will be like the bowls before the altar. 21 Every cooking pot in Jerusalem and in Judah will be holy to Yahweh Sabaoth; and all who sacrifice will come and take of them and boil in them. And there will no longer be a Canaanite in the house of Yahweh Sabaoth in that day.

“The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me. Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.” (John 17: 22-24)
