Don’t Minimize Turkey’s Importance

Reports indicate that a military coup is underway in Turkey.  At this point, what will happen is anyone’s guess.  I hope they succeed.  Here’s why.

An article in Qantara titled “Erdogan defends plan offering Syrians Turkish citizenship” points to changes in Turkey under President Erdogan that will impact all of us in the years ahead:

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan defended his plan to give Syrian refugees Turkish citizenship in comments published on Monday, arguing the country has ample space after a backlash against the suggestion. Erdogan said on 2 July that Syrians could eventually be granted Turkish citizenship “if they want it”, in remarks which were met with anger from opposition politicians and social media users. More than 2.7 million Syrian refugees now live in Turkey, where they have guest status, according to the Turkish government.

In his first comments on the issue since announcing the plan, Erdogan said Syrians with dual citizenship did not have to return to Syria once the conflict was over.

Erdogan is up to his old tricks again.  Some Turks are upset about his plan to offer citizenship to so-called “Syrian refugees”.  They should be.

What’s the trick?  Glad you asked.

The “refugee” pool is loaded with Islamists.  Erdogan knows it.  He wants to increase the size of the Islamist population in Turkey.  What better way to do it than to import them?

The same thing is happening in Europe and the U.S.

Some SnyderTalk readers may think that my focus on Turkey over time has been excessive, but they are wrong.  Turkey will play an important role in the world to come.  It’s heading in the wrong direction, and it’s moving quickly.  Despite the recent rapprochement between Turkey and Israel, as long as Erdogan and people like him are in charge, Israel will be at risk.

Turkey is a NATO member, so the Turkish president has access to some of our most sensitive intelligence information.  Erdogan has taken advantage of the NATO card to keep Israel out of NATO and to play the strongman against Russia.

Shooting down a Russian fighter jet that was returning from Syria is a perfect example.  Although the Russian plane was over Turkish airspace, he wouldn’t have done that if Turkey were not in NATO.

Switching gears, why have Arab nations not offered citizenship to so-called “Palestinian refugees”?  At this point, most of them were born in the Arab countries where they live.  In every sense of the word, those countries are their homes.

The reason is simple.  Leaders of most Arab nations want the Palestinian problem to be a festering sore for the world to see and feel sorry about.  They think that maintaining the status quo will eventually lead to increasing global pressure on Israel.

They are right.  Their plan is working.  Those calling the shots are not Palestinians.  They want to Islamicize the world.  Palestinians are pawns in the game here in the U.S. and all over the world.

For example, see “Who Do Bigots Blame for Police Shootings in America? Israel, of Course!”:

In response to the tragic deaths of Philando Castile and Alton Sterling at the hands of police officers in Minnesota and Louisiana, the New York University chapter of Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) posted the following on its Facebook page:

“In the past 48 hours another two black men have been lynched by the police…. We must remember that many US police departments train with #IsraeliDefenceForces. The same forces behind the genocide of black people in America are behind the genocide of Palestinians. What this means is that Palestinians must stand with our black comrades. We must struggle for their liberation. It is as important as our own. #AltonSterling is as important as #AliDawabsheh. Palestinian liberation and black liberation go together. We must recognize this and commit to building for it.”

Uniting dissimilar groups with the “Palestinian” cause is part of their plan.  It’s diabolical because most people have no idea that the strings are being pulled by some of the world’s most dangerous Islamists.  They go along gleefully and have no idea what is taking place.

We are in the midst of the most dramatic political, social, religious, and economic shifts that the world has ever seen.  When the pieces fall into place, the world as we know it will have changed completely, and it won’t be a better world.  In fact, it will be much worse.

As I said, I hope Erdogan is ousted and that he is put on trial for his misdeeds.  That’s what should happen.  He has been a force for evil in the world for more than a decade.

“The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me. Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.” (John 17: 22-24)
