Israel’s Enemy and Our Enemy: One and the Same

On June 8, 2016 during Ramadan, a holy month for Muslims, two Palestinian terrorists dressed as Orthodox Jews, crossed into Israel, went to the Max Brenner Cafe in the Sarona Market of Tel Aviv across the street from the IDF and Defense Ministry headquarters, and started shooting.  Four people were killed and many others were wounded.

Hamas claimed responsibility for the attack.  Palestinians in Turkey, the West Bank, and Gaza celebrated.

U.S. presidential hopeful Donald Trump said that those who praised the attack are “uncivilized”:

“I condemn, in the strongest possible terms, the outrageous terrorist shootings that took the lives of at least four innocent civilians and wounded at least twenty others in Tel Aviv yesterday.’

[…]

“The Israeli security forces’ investigation is ongoing, but some facts have already emerged — and they are grim.”

[…]

“The American people stand strong with the people of Israel, who have suffered far too long from terrorism. Israel’s security is a matter of paramount importance to me and the American people.”

[…]

“I express my deepest condolences to the families of the four Israelis who were murdered, as well as my wishes for a speedy recovery to the wounded.”

They aren’t just uncivilized.  The people who committed those horrific acts and those who praised their actions are evil.  They are doing the bidding of their master.

In what appears to be a shocker to Westerners, Tel Aviv Mayor Ron Huldai laid the blame on Israel:

“Our leaders through the years have said that the lands [on which settlements are built] are the basis on which a future [Palestinian] state can be built. The problem is when there is no terror, there are no discussions, and when there are talks, we say there can’t be terror attacks.”

[…]

“We can’t keep these people in a reality in which they are occupied and [expect] them to reach the conclusion that everything is all right and that they can continue living this way.”

[…]

“On the one hand, we are marking 49 years to the occupation, of which I was a part [as a fighter pilot in the 1967 war]. I know the reality and understand that leaders with courage need to aspire to reach [an agreement] and not just talk about it.”

[…]

“The facts are that we [as a nation] are suffering [after terror attacks] does not lead us to really understand what needs to be done.”

The Tel Aviv mayor is many things, liberal left-wing political hopeful being chief among them, but he is not a man of faith and he doesn’t have a clue who Israel’s real enemy is.

Palestinian leaders in Hamas and Fatah have pledged to annihilate Israel, all of it, and replace it with a Palestinian state.  That flies in the face of Yahweh’s promises to and about the people and the land of Israel.  Anyone who supports that line of thinking is opposed to Him.

At a time when the majority of Israelis are afraid to visit Jerusalem, Huldai and other left-wing politicians in Israel who buy into the warped peacenik logic that Western media types like to trumpet are laying the groundwork for a major war that they can’t win on their own.

On the one hand, that makes me happy because I know that they will have to call on Yahweh.  On the other hand, I know that the pain and suffering they hope to avoid will be much greater because of their shortsightedness and lack of faith.  The unilateral Gaza pullout is a perfect example.

This is a global problem, though.  In Europe and the United States, we face the same enemy.  The Orlando terrorist attack is the most recent example.

The Orlando mass murderer, Omar Mateen, discussed ISIS with police, and he referred to the Boston Bombers as “homeboys”.  His wife has Palestinian roots.  She was with Mateen when he bought ammo.

While he was committing the gruesome murders, Mateen took the time to post on Facebook a pledge of his loyalty to ISIS.  That’s not a surprise.  According the CIA chief, ISIS has been working feverishly to plant operatives in the United States.  ISIS is calling the shots and people like Mateen are pawns in their game.

In the face of these undeniable facts, “New reports show that the Obama administration is on pace to issue more than a million green cards to migrants from Muslim nations. Yet Obama could not have accomplished this without help from Washington Republicans.”  More than 400 unvetted Syrian “refugees” have been imported to the U.S. since the Orlando terrorist attack.

When the Florida governor called the White House to find out about the vetting of so-called Syrian “refugees” who were heading for Florida, he was told in essence that it was none of his business.  I wish I was making this stuff up, but I’m not.

Donald Trump is right.  Until we sort out the Islamist mess, we can’t bring more Muslims into the U.S.  If we do, we will pay a high price.

The Democrat Party is pro-Muslim and anti-Israel/anti-Semitic.  That’s been true for awhile, but lately Republican House Speaker Paul Ryan and other establishment Republicans have joined the pro-Muslim minority.  I hope they are just clueless, but I have my doubts.

This is the bottom line: Israel’s enemies are our enemies.  The sooner we accept that fact the better.  The Islamist problem facing the world can’t be solved by making deals to placate them here, in Europe, or in Israel.  They demand nothing less that our total submission to their wicked way of life.  That’s unacceptable.

“The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me. Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.” (John 17: 22-24)
