A Lot is Going on behind the Scenes that Everyone Should Know

In an article titled “Turkey has ‘serious questions’ to answer: Reactions to RT report on post-ISIS town in Syria”, RT is spilling the beans on Recep Tayyip Erdoğan:

The stream of accusations is growing against Ankara over illegal oil trade and support of Islamic State, with politicians and experts calling for Turkey to be held accountable for its actions after a new batch of evidence gathered by RT.

Former UK ambassador to Syria, Peter Ford, has described as “very convincing” a report aired by RT which features piles of oil accounting papers left behind by Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) fighters.

“There was plenty of evidence even before these latest – very damning – revelations that Turkey was up to its neck in support for collaboration with Islamic State,” he said.

According to Ford, the “obsession” of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan with removing from power his Syrian counterpart, Bashar Assad, and preventing the strengthening of the Kurds in Syria saw Turkey become eager “to stop at nothing, including collaboration with Islamic State terrorists,” Ford stressed.

“It’s not an exaggeration to say that if Turkey had sincerely tried to put an end to the activities of Islamic State it could well have gone slow and we wouldn’t perhaps even be having this latest atrocity in Brussels,” the former ambassador stressed.

On Tuesday, 31 people died in the Belgian capital in suicide bomb attacks at the airport and subway. The attacks were later claimed by IS.

Lord Peter Truscott, a life peer in the UK’s House of Lords, stressed that Ankara has “serious questions” to answer following the revelations by RT.

“RT’s report highlights some alarming evidence that Turkey is buying oil from Daesh [Arabic pejorative term for IS], and is either supporting or turning a blind eye to terrorists crossing its border into Syria. If this is the case, Turkey needs to stop aiding Daesh in its murderous activities,” Lord Truscott stressed.

Here’s the problem: Turkey didn’t do these things.  Erdoğan and his criminal co-conspirators did, but the Turkish people elected them.  Thus, they share the blame.

RT is just beginning to reveal the treasure trove of information it has collected.  If Erdoğan had not ordered the shooting down of a Russian jet fighter over Turkish territory, Putin and RT would not be on the warpath.

When it happened, I said that Erdoğan had crossed a line from which there could be no return.  This is what I was talking about, and it’s far from over.

As long as Erdoğan is alive, Putin will hound him.  I suspect that there is “a contract” of sorts out on Erdoğan already, but at the head-of-state level of play, executions have to be performed with precision to avoid a backlash.

The day that Erdoğan leaves office and loses state-funded security protection, his days will be numbered.  I don’t know how it will happen, but I’m almost certain that it will happen.

Now, for the rest of the story: I have known about Erdoğan’s complicity with ISIS and other Islamist groups for years.  If you are a regular SnyderTalk reader, you know that because I have been writing about it all along.

Erdoğan’s role in the MV Mavi Marmara affair was part of it.  In that instance, Erdoğan was building street creds with Hamas and other Islamist groups that are hell-bent on Israel’s destruction in an effort to reestablish Turkey as the dominant player in the Middle East.

Think of it as Erdoğan’s effort to bring back the Ottoman Empire with him as sultan.  That’s exactly what I said about it when it happened.

Some may have thought that I was speculating.  I wasn’t.  It was as plain as day.

Some may have believed that it wasn’t very important.  In fact, it was crucial because missteps happen.  Mistakes at that level lead to horrific problems.

I’m just pointing out that ordinary people can know what’s happening by keeping up with what’s taking place right in front of them.  This is the problem: most people don’t know and they don’t care that they don’t know until it’s too late.

Erdoğan is one example of what I’m talking about.  There are many others.

Barack Obama has done similar things all over the world, and there will be hell to pay for his misadventures.  As secretary of state, Hillary Clinton was complicit in Obama’s doings, and she is about to become the Democrat nominee for president.

For years, I have been saying that Erdoğan and Obama are blood brothers.  They think alike and they act alike.  Neither one of them can be trusted.  There isn’t the slightest difference between them and Hillary Clinton.

Obama infested his government with Islamists at the highest levels of power.  Clinton did the same thing at the State Department.  Those things can’t happen without repercussions.  Again, I am not speculating.

The same sort of mindless coddling of Islamists has been taking place in Europe for decades.  SnyderTalk readers know about it because I have been writing about it since SnyderTalk was created in 2009.  As a professor at the University of Virginia, I was telling my students about it in the 1990s.

Terrorist attacks in Europe are the price people pay for lacking common sense.  At this moment, European security personnel are scouring the continent looking for terrorists, but they are seamlessly woven into the fabric of European society.  Rooting them out will take more than European security can deliver.  Again, I’m not speculating.

See “Jihad in Brussels” and “What We Could Learn from Israel”.

This is war.  It’s Islam vs. the world.  The fact that most people have preferred to ignore it doesn’t mean that it isn’t happening or that they will be spared when the excrement hits the fan.

Things are changing very rapidly now.  I expect the speed of change to increase in the days to come.  When it finally blows up and people admit that we are at war, it will be too late to begin preparing.

Although it’s not readily apparent to most people, Israel is at the center of the war.  Her mere existence is the problem.  That’s crystal clear, but most people don’t see it.

Everyone will understand it one day.  I hope it’s not too late for them when they finally wake up to reality.

It’s far from over.  In fact, it’s just getting started.

1: Mark Blitz—Pastor: Christians celebrating Easter on the wrong day:

On Sunday, Christians around the world will celebrate Easter, which commemorates the resurrection of Jesus, the cornerstone of the Christian faith. That makes Easter the single holiest day on the Christian calendar.

But one pastor who specializes in teaching Christians about the Jewish roots of their faith has a bombshell for believers – they are celebrating on the wrong day.

Pastor Mark Biltz, discoverer of the blood-moons phenomenon and the author of “Blood Moons: Decoding the Imminent Heavenly Signs,” argues Christians’ abandonment of the biblical calendar has led to a strange situation in 2016, as believers will actually be celebrating Jesus rising from the dead almost a full month before the anniversary of His crucifixion.

“Why do believers celebrate the Resurrection of the Messiah before his actual death?” asked Biltz. “This is what happens when we follow the traditions of men, rather than the Bible.”

SnyderTalk Comment: The Messiah said, “You nullify the word of God for the sake of your traditions that you have handed down. And you do many things like that.” (Mark 7: 13)

He was talking to and about Jewish religious leaders who had abandoned Yahweh’s word and replaced it with man-made logic that was embedded in the Talmud and other religious teachings.  Christians have done the same thing.

It’s regrettable that people who should know better follow in the footsteps of those who got off course and defend their foolishness.  They should repent.  That means they should stop what they are doing and go in the right direction.

2: Donald Lambro— What Americans worry about:

The Republican presidential campaign is getting uglier, reaching new lows even for Donald Trump and his struggling rival Ted Cruz.

While more Americans worry about the weakening U.S. economy, finding full-time jobs and the threat of terrorist attacks, Mr. Trump and Mr. Cruz were attacking each other about online photos of their wives.

The fight began with a Facebook ad from a pro-Cruz political action committee that sent out a long-ago photo of Mr. Trump’s stunning wife, Melania, posing partially nude for GQ Magazine in her former modeling days.

Mr. Cruz said his campaign had nothing to do with the PAC or its online photo attack, but Mr. Trump retaliated in a tweet to Mr. Cruz, threatening to “spill the beans on your wife.”

Mr. Trump then sent out a tweet, with side-by-side pictures of both their wives that included an unflattering photo of Mr. Cruz’s wife Heidi, saying “No need to ‘spill the beans.’ A picture is worth a thousand words.”

Mr. Cruz responded: “Donald, real men don’t attack women. Your wife is lovely, and Heidi is the love of my life.”

SnyderTalk Comment: We’ve had enough of the foolishness.  It’s time to stop fighting about the wrong things and focus on things that really matter.

We don’t need and can’t afford another child president.  Eight years is plenty.

3: Israel HayomOutrage in Israel: The UN is an anti-Israel circus:

Israel on Thursday assailed the United Nations Human Rights Council for adopting a measure that calls for the establishment of a database of businesses “involved in activities” in Judea and Samaria.

Israel’s U.N. ambassador, Danny Danon, called the database a “blacklist” and said the UNHRC was behaving “obsessively” against Israel.

The Geneva-based council, a 47-member state forum established 10 years ago which Israel and its major U.S. ally accuse of bias against the Jewish state, adopted the motion with 32 votes in favor, none against and 15, mostly European nations, abstaining.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a statement calling the body an “anti-Israel circus,” adding the council “attacks the only democracy in the Middle East and ignores the gross violations of Iran, Syria and North Korea.”

The council asked for the list of enterprises to be updated annually and to be appraised of the “human rights and international law violations involved in the production of settlement goods.”

Netanyahu said it was absurd to condemn Israel rather than deal with attacks by Palestinians against Israel and by Islamic State in Europe. “Israel calls on responsible governments not to honor the decisions of the Council that discriminate against Israel,” Netanyahu said.

4: Khaled Abu Toameh—Palestinian Campuses “More Hamas than Hamas”

These are the days when everything is backwards. The “pro-Palestinian” activists on university campuses throughout the Western world have gotten into the spirit: Palestinian students and academics in the West Bank and Gaza Strip endure daily harassment by the Palestinian Authority (PA) and Hamas, because all that gets the activists going are “Israeli abuses.”

Apparently, today, to be “pro-Palestinian” one has to be “anti-Israel.”

For the self-appointed advocates of the Palestinians at Western university campuses, the Palestinian issue is nothing but a vehicle for spewing hatred toward Israel. In good, backwards form, Israel is castigated, and the PA and Hamas are free to abuse their own people.

It seems that in the view of the anti-Israel folks, the Palestinians should not even hope for human rights under the Palestinian regimes.

5: AlgemeinerIn Aftermath of Brussels Bombings, Palestinian Authority Sources Say Europe ‘Getting Taste of Its Own Poison’:

A cartoon appearing in the Palestinian Authority press on Wednesday provided a pictorial expression of the PA’s take on the Brussels bombings, which left at least 34 people dead and hundreds wounded earlier this week, an Israel-based watchdog reported on Thursday.

According to a Palestinian Media Watch report, the cartoon, published in the official PA daily Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, shows a Westerner holding a cauldron of blood/detonator attached to sticks of dynamite near a sign reading “the Middle East,” with the caption: “Those who prepare the poison will taste it themselves, and today Europe is having a taste of what it prepared with its own hands.”

The sentiment that the West brought global terrorism on itself was expressed more fully in the immediate aftermath of the Brussels suicide bombings by the spokesman of the PA Security Forces.

SnyderTalk Comment: If people knew the truth, would it matter?  I don’t think so.

One day it will matter to them, but not today.

Trump has been willing to call it what it is.  That’s a real positive.
