1--Intro Covering Israel and ME

“For from the rising of the sun even to its setting, My Name will be great among the Gentiles, and in every place incense is going to be offered to My Name, and a grain offering that is pure; for My Name will be great among the Gentiles,” says Yahweh Sabaoth. (Malachi 1: 11)

ISIS is on the Rampage, Obama is Dazed and Confused

Mark Steyn had an interesting take on the Paris massacre.  In an article titled “The Barbarians Are Inside, And There Are No Gates”, he said,

As I write, Paris is under curfew for the first time since the German occupation, and the death toll from the multiple attacks stands at 158, the vast majority of them slaughtered during a concert at the Bataclan theatre, a delightful bit of 19th century Chinoiserie on the boulevard Voltaire. The last time I was there, if memory serves, was to see Julie Pietri. I’m so bloody sick of these savages shooting and bombing and killing and blowing up everything I like – whether it’s the small Quebec town where my little girl’s favorite fondue restaurant is or my favorite hotel in Amman or the brave freespeecher who hosted me in Copenhagen …or a music hall where I liked to go to hear a little jazz and pop and get away from the cares of the world for a couple of hours. But look at the photographs from Paris: there’s nowhere to get away from it; the barbarians who yell “Allahu Akbar!” are there waiting for you …when you go to a soccer match, you go to a concert, you go for a drink on a Friday night. They’re there on the train… at the magazine office… in the Kosher supermarket… at the museum in Brussels… outside the barracks in Woolwich…

Twenty-four hours ago, I said on the radio apropos the latest campus “safe space” nonsense:

This is what we’re going to be talking about when the mullahs nuke us.

Almost. When the Allahu Akbar boys opened fire, Paris was talking about the climate-change conference due to start later this month, when the world’s leaders will fly in to “solve” a “problem” that doesn’t exist rather than to address the one that does. But don’t worry: we already have a hashtag (#PrayForParis) and doubtless there’ll be another candlelight vigil of weepy tilty-headed wankers. Because as long as we all advertise how sad and sorrowful we are, who needs to do anything?

With his usual killer comedy timing, the “leader of the free world” told George Stephanopoulos on “Good Morning, America” this very morning that he’d “contained” ISIS and that they’re not “gaining strength”. A few hours later, a cell whose members claim to have been recruited by ISIS slaughtered over 150 people in the heart of Paris and succeeded in getting two suicide bombers and a third bomb to within a few yards of the French president.

Obama and the Democrat Party have spent the last 7 years trying to do to the U.S. what has been done in Europe already.

I’ve said repeatedly that Europe as we know it is history.  The Paris massacre is the latest example, but more wickedness is headed their way.

The number of Muslims legally in Europe today, many of whom are Islamists, is very large.  The immigrant pool from Syria, many of whom are Islamists, is a tsunami and just as dangerous.

An article by Pew Research titled “5 facts about the Muslim population in Europe” made these points:

  1. Germany and France have the largest Muslim populations among European Union member countries.
  2. The Muslim share of Europe’s total population has been increasing steadily.
  3. Muslims are younger than other Europeans.
  4. Views of Muslims vary widely among European countries.
  5. As of 2010, the European Union was home to about 13 million Muslim immigrants.

You should read the Pew report.  It’s not long.

Most Europeans refuse to admit that they have a problem.  The data in the Pew report is misleading because Muslims in Europe tend to congregate.  Thus, while their percentages of the populations of European countries may be small, where they congregate, they represent majorities or near majorities.  Those enclaves are where the trouble begins, and it spreads out from there.

Even if only 15% of the Muslims in Europe are Islamists, they can bring Europe to its knees.  I think 15% is a very conservative estimate.

At most, a few dozen Islamists were involved in the Paris massacre.  According to another Pew Research report, 44 million Muslims live in Europe.  That includes 19 million in the European Union.  15% of those numbers is huge: 6,600,000 in Europe and 2,700,000 in the EU.

Those numbers do not include the influx of Syrian “refugees”.  They are an army, and they are at war with us right now.

It is a fact that Islamists want to destroy Europe.  They have told us so time and time again.  If we have learned nothing else from Islamists, we should have learned this: when they say that they want to kill us, they mean it.

Will they succeed?  It’s up to us.

So far, European leaders haven’t demonstrated the kind of courage and resolve that are required to deal with the crisis in their midst.  They are far too wishy-washy and politically correct.  That won’t solve the problem.

The time for playing footsie with Islamists in Europe is over.  Using an old cliché, it’s time to fish or cut bait.

Our day is coming, too.

If you wanted to write a novel about destroying the United States, you would have to look long and hard to find a better model to follow than Obama’s maneuvering as President of the United States.  He has set forces in motion here that will take years to reverse.

For example, Obama’s litmus test for military leaders has left our nation’s defense in disarray.  He forced our best military commanders out of the service.  The ones who are running the show now had to go along with Obama without making a fuss.

Obama’s handling of the Middle East left a vacuum and energized Islamists.  He can’t blame today’s problems in the region on George W. Bush.  Every president inherits policies with which he doesn’t agree.  Blaming your predecessor is not a solution.

All presidents have to play the hand they are dealt.  That’s the way it always has been and that’s the way it always will be.

Don’t pity Obama for inheriting Bush’s policies.  Pity the president who follows Obama for inheriting his policies.

For all practical purposes, Obama simply pulled out of the Middle East.  He bragged about it as though he had done something worthwhile and courageous.  Our allies in the region were left to fend for themselves.  Putin took advantage of the opportunity that Obama handed him on a silver platter, and he’s taking the fight to ISIS.

That’s what Obama should have done.

See “Obama urges Russia to join renewed effort to eliminate Islamic State”.  Obama’s proposal is laughable.  I would love to have seen Putin’s response when he learned about Obama’s suggestion.  Russia’s effort under Putin makes the U.S. effort under Obama look ridiculously weak.

Putin is leading.  Obama wants to be seen as a leader.

We can correct Obama’s errors by strengthening our military, but it won’t happen unless we have a change of philosophy at the top.

Mrs. Clinton wants to extend and expand Obama’s legacy.  As Obama’s secretary of state, she was a big part of the problem.  Benghazi is one example of her “accomplishments”.  The reset with Russia is another.  There are many more.

Both Obama and Clinton have coddled Islamists and integrated them into the Obama administration.  Rooting them out won’t be easy.

See “Egyptian Magazine: Muslim Brotherhood Infiltrates Obama Administration” and “Want to Know Just How Close the Muslim Brotherhood Is to the Obama Admin?

The Muslim Brotherhood emerged from the Wahhabi sect of Islam (a.k.a Saudi Salafism).  It’s the most virulent of the Islamist sects.

Wahhabis hate everybody: Shi’ite Muslims, Jews, Christians, Hindus, atheists, etc., etc., etc.

Hamas is an appendage of the Muslim Brotherhood.  See “Our world: Israel, Hamas and Obama’s foreign policy”.

As Steyn said, “The barbarians are inside, and there are no gates.”  We know that Europe isn’t prepared for what comes next.  Are we?

Soeren Kern—France’s Politically Correct War on Islamic Terror:

  • French leaders consistently act in ways that undermine their stated goal of eradicating Islamic terror.
  • Critics of the policy say “Daesh” is a politically correct linguistic device that allows Western leaders to claim that the Islamic State is not Islamic — and thus ignore the root cause of Islamic terror and militant jihad.
  • French leaders have also been consistently antagonistic toward Israel, a country facing Islamic terror on a daily basis. France is leading international diplomatic efforts to push for a UN resolution that would lead to the establishment of an independent Palestinian state within a period of two years. The move effectively whitewashes Palestinian terror.
  • French critics of Islam are routinely harassed with strategic lawsuits that seek to censor, intimidate and silence them. In a recent case, Sébastien Jallamion, a 43-year-old policeman from Lyon was suspended from his job and fined 5,000 euros after he condemned the death of Frenchman Hervé Gourdel, who was beheaded by jihadists in Algeria.
  • “Those who denounce the illegal behavior of fundamentalists are more likely to be sued than the fundamentalists who behave illegally.” — Marine Le Pen, leader of France’s Front National.

Judith Bergman—How Can Anyone Be Shocked?:

  • The West, especially Europe, continues to be taken aback every time a new terror attack occurs, as if each one were the first.
  • “We are importing Islamic extremism, Arab anti-Semitism, national and ethnic conflicts of other peoples, as well as a different understanding of society and law.” — From a leaked German intelligence document.
  • The current generation of European political leaders has exhibited an irresponsibility and lack of leadership that is almost infantile.

Sharona Schwartz—Netanyahu Says Radical Islam Spurred Paris Attacks: ‘The Time Has Come for the world to wake up’:

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Sunday that it was time for the “world to wake up” and come together to fight terrorism which he asserted is fueled by “radical Islam.”

“In Israel, as in France, terrorism is terrorism and standing behind it is radical Islam and its desire to destroy its victims. The time has come for the world to wake up and unite in order to defeat terrorism,” Netanyahu said at his weekly cabinet meeting, where he also described the attacks as “vicious.”

On Saturday, he likened the West’s fight against radical Islamic terrorism to a civilizational battle against a “plague.”

SnyderTalk Comment: Netanyahu must be reading SnyderTalk.

Don’t laugh.  Israel’s intelligence operations keep a close eye on everything said in the media about the tiny Jewish state.

I suspect that some of them do read SnyderTalk.

Jonathan Benedeck—NGO Monitor Report: Christian Aid Organizations Financing Anti-Semitism:

A large number of Christian aid organizations are providing significant finances and support to non-governmental organizations (NGOs) which exacerbate the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, according to a recent report by NGO Monitor.

“Protestant and Catholic charities are funding highly politicized anti-Israel NGOs on a massive scale,” senior NGO Monitor researcher Yitzhak Santis told Tazpit Press Service.

“Many of these NGOs act against peace as they encourage conflict and tensions while supporting the goal of dismantling the State of Israel and thereby deny the Jewish people the right to national self-determination.”

NGO Monitor’s report follows Pope Francis’ remarks last week at a meeting with leaders from the World Zionist Organization, in which he strongly condemned anti-Semitism and opposition to Israel’s right to exist.

“In light of Pope Francis’ statement that opposing Israel’s right to exist is a form of antisemitism, those Christian charities funding NGOs acting to bring about Israel’s demise need to engage in a deep soul-searching about their actions and cease their unethical funding of such groups,” Santis added to TPS.

Scott Bronstein, Nic Robertson and Mick Krever—Who is Paris attacker Ismael Omar Mostefai?:

The quiet of this bucolic French town, known for centuries for its historic and majestic medieval cathedral, has been shattered by the discovery that a former resident helped carry out one of the worst terrorist attacks in French history.

Ismael Omar Mostefai, 29, lived here quietly for years, before he was identified as one of the attackers who brutally massacred dozens of Paris concertgoers with a Kalashnikov before blowing himself in the crowd with a suicide bomber’s vest.

Mostefai, Parisians learned, was identified through a gruesome find. He was literally “fingered” by a fingerprint, pulled from a severed finger, found in the carnage of body parts in the concert hall, according to investigators.

David Shariatmadari—Isis hates Middle Eastern civilisation too:

As it became clear that responsibility for the horrific massacres in Paris lay with so-called Islamic State, prominent figures sought to place the events in context. Jeb Bush, the Republican presidential hopeful, called it part of “an organised effort to destroy western civilisation”. Rupert Murdoch tweeted: “Paris outrage not an attack on all humanity, but an attack on us, ie, western civilisation”. The commentator Iain Martin put it like this: “Western civilisation – democracy, free speech, free association, the rule of law, prosperity – is under attack by barbarians.”

The terrorists certainly had civilisation in their crosshairs. They spread chaos and killing through a city famous for its culture, its intermingling of influences, its freedom of expression. In as much as they targeted one of Europe’s great capitals, it was an assault on European values – the way our citizens choose to live and behave. However, it is wrong to frame the atrocities as attacks on “western civilisation” alone.

Hassina Mechaï—Interview with Pierre Conesa: ‘We’ve declared war first in theMiddle East’:

Pierre Conesa, a former senior civil servant at the Department of Defence and lecturer at Sciences Po (the Paris Institute of Political Studies), talks to Middle East Eye about the potential aftereffects of the Paris attacks and the rising dangers of Salafism.

MEE: How do you explain that the Islamic State (IS) group targeted France and not other members of the international alliance currently carrying out military actions in Iraq and Syria?

Pierre Conesa: From the moment [now former president] Nicolas Sarkozy was in office onward, France has entirely aligned its politics with the US. For the Arab world, France has become a spearhead of European defence. It started in Libya with the HIV trial, and has been carried on with Francois Hollande and his statements against Syria, which have been harsher than Barack Obama’s. The IS must have known the difference between Jacques Chirac – who refused to go to war against Iraq – and the neocons, Nicolas Sarkozy and Francois Hollande. There’s a clear link between neocon activism in France and those attacks. Fatally, France got ranked high up on the enemies list.

The second reason is the fact that France is a land of immigration. It has the biggest Chinese, Jewish, Armenian and Muslim communities in the EU. In fact, French public opinion is more sensitive to diplomacy matters. It has been proven in the past, ie the Mohamed Merah case [a reference to 2012 killings in southern France carried out by a Frenchman of Algerian descent], that few people were ready to attack the territory, solely based on France’s foreign military actions.

New York Times Editorial—What Will Come After Paris:

The terrorist attacks in Paris on Friday, along with twin bombings in Beirut the day before and the downing of a Russian jetliner over the Sinai Peninsula on Oct. 31, show a new phase in the Islamic State’s war against the West, a readiness to strike far beyond areas it controls in Iraq, Syria, and Libya. The challenge for threatened countries is huge. The Islamic State must be crushed, but that requires patience, determination and the coordination of strategies and goals that has been sorely lacking among countries involved in the war on ISIS.

France must take measures to protect its citizens, as must the U.S., Russia and all the other countries threatened by the Islamic State’s murderous dream of a new caliphate. ISIS has demonstrated that there is no limit to its reach, and no nation is really safe until they all come together to defeat this scourge.

Freddy Eytan—Has France’s All-Out War on Terror Really Begun?:

For the first time since the Second World War, except for a few days during the Algerian War, Paris is under curfew and looks like a city of devastation, a ghost town. Why is it happening?

The French-born children of North African immigrants harbor a deep resentment toward the authorities and have been joining the ranks of the Islamic State and other Islamic movements with vengeance as their aim. The presence of eight to ten million Muslims in France strongly influences governmental decision-making as well as intelligence work.

Numerous French intellectuals, opinion leaders, and radicals still see the terrorists as freedom fighters, as underground activists who wage a just fight against all occupation and repression.

Terror has crossed the Mediterranean and is striking Europe. France must unhesitatingly change its strategy and its naive attitude toward radical migrants.

4--Scripture of the Day Yahweh

Exodus 29

10 “Then you shall bring the bull before the tent of meeting, and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands on the head of the bull. 11 You shall slaughter the bull before Yahweh at the doorway of the tent of meeting. 12 You shall take some of the blood of the bull and put it on the horns of the altar with your finger; and you shall pour out all the blood at the base of the altar. 13 You shall take all the fat that covers the entrails and the lobe of the liver, and the two kidneys and the fat that is on them, and offer them up in smoke on the altar. 14 But the flesh of the bull and its hide and its refuse, you shall burn with fire outside the camp; it is a sin offering.”

15 “You shall also take the one ram, and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands on the head of the ram; 16 and you shall slaughter the ram and shall take its blood and sprinkle it around on the altar. 17 Then you shall cut the ram into its pieces, and wash its entrails and its legs, and put them with its pieces and its head. 18 You shall offer up in smoke the whole ram on the altar; it is a burnt offering to Yahweh: it is a soothing aroma, an offering by fire to Yahweh.”

14--Blessings from Revelation 2

Blessings in the Book of Revelation is a book that you need to read, especially now.  There are blessings throughout the Scriptures but Revelation is the only book in the Bible actually containing a specific blessing for reading it. It’s repeated twice, once at the beginning and again at the end. This is the reason that I believe Revelation should be the first step toward studying biblical prophecy. Though not easy to do, Revelation can be broken down and understood by anyone, not just the academic elite. So, Revelation’s blessings are for everyone.  Click here to order the eBook.  Click here to order the paperback.
