I want to thank every SnyderTalk reader for making SnyderTalk a part of your day.  I also want to give you some interesting information.

SnyderTalk now has more daily readers in China than it does in the United States, and the China readership base is growing faster than the U.S. base.  I’m sure that tells us something, but I won’t venture a guess here as to what it might be.

Ronn Torossian—The Racist, Discriminating Democratic Party:

The Democratic Party, the party of slavery, which openly practices the only form of discrimination that is acceptable today in American politics – class warfare – and discrimination against the successful, yesterday, for the third time in recent weeks, wrongly accused the Republican Party of racism.

Yesterday’s folly saw New York Congressman Steve Israel assert that “to a significant extent, the Republican base does have elements that are animated by racism and that’s unfortunate.” This follows remarks by Attorney General Eric Holder, who claimed at a forum on civil rights that the past five years in Washington have been marked by “unprecedented, unwarranted, ugly and divisive adversity.” “If you don’t believe that … you look at the way the attorney general of the United States was treated yesterday by a House committee.”

The reality is that Holder was treated appropriately – as he is inept and this administration is constantly lying to the public.  Americans indeed should know no color when inept people govern; they should be challenged and condemned. It is unfair to assert “racism” when caught lying and cheating as a way to defend yourself.

SnyderTalk Comment: When you consider the shameful way that President Obama and his underlings have treated Israel and the fact that the delegates at the Democratic National Convention in 2012 that was controlled by the president booed God (thankfully they didn’t know His Name or they would have booed it too), I think you can make a very strong argument that the Democratic Party is anti-Semitic as well.  Regrettably, many Jewish people flock to the Democratic Party.

Ronald Lauder: A Rising Anti-Semitic Storm in Greece—The so-called Affair Baltakos in Greece is one of those eye-opening moments that throws into sharp relief the problems posed by far-right extremist parties in Europe. As I said in a press statement last week, the affair underscores that Europeans need to establish a common policy forbidding dealings with neo-Nazi, racist, and anti-Semitic elements, and create a clear “cordon sanitaire” vis-à-vis these parties.

Dvir Kahana: The new dynamic between Israel and the Jewish world—Over the next few weeks, the government of Israel will decide upon a crucial resolution which will have a lasting impact on Diaspora relations. The Joint Initiative of the Government of Israel and World Jewry is a new blueprint we expect will strengthen Jewish identity and bolster Israel-Diaspora ties for years to come. While there are many programs around the world which share these goals, Israel has, up to now, only contributed a small percentage of the funds needed to keep them running. If the initiative is green-lighted, it will mean that the government of Israel agrees to raise the bar and contribute more resources over the next decade.

Maj.-Gen. (res.) Yaacov Amidror: Palestinian Recognition of Jewish Israel Is Critical for Peace—My involvement in the negotiations and in private meetings with Palestinians over the past year has made it clear to me that the diplomatic process is not about “land for peace.” It is not about the 1967 borders, but about unpacking the conflict between Israel and Palestinians going back to 1948. Thus, if an accord between Israel and the Palestinians does not include Palestinian recognition of Israel as the nation state of the Jews, such an accord will not be worth the paper it is written on.

Thomas Lifson: Augusta blanketed with anti-Obama art for the Masters— Greeting the rich and connected as they take in the Masters Golf tournament in Augusta, GA is a plethora of anti-Obama art. Breitbart features one photo, but thanks to an anonymous source, we have access to over 30 views of the extent of the campaign.  Here is a sample.

Hadar Sela: Why Does the BBC Trust’s Editorial Standards Committee Pretend That the 1947 Partition Plan is a Thing?— Readers no doubt remember that in the summer of 2012 the BBC’s Sports department produced a profile of Israel on its dedicated Olympics webpage which claimed  that Israel has no capital city whilst listing “East Jerusalem” as the capital of “Palestine”. After much public outcry, changes were made to the webpage and Jerusalem was listed as Israel’s “seat of government“, with “East Jerusalem” becoming the “seat of intended government” for “Palestine” according to the BBC.

Enza Ferreri: Britain’s Jihadists Within— Some of the “freedom fighters” who are at war against the evil tyrant Assad in Syria, the “rebels” whom both U.S. President Obama and British Prime Minister Cameron wanted to help, have now been re-classified as “the biggest threat to Britain’s security” and a “greater threat than al-Qaeda terrorists in Pakistan and Afghanistan.” The British Home Office identifies Syria as “the most significant development in global terrorism.” More than half of anti-terror investigations by the UK security service MI5 involve “Britons” who went to fight in Syria. Charles Farr, the Home Office’s counter-terrorism chief, and others warned that the Syrian war is stoking the biggest terror threat to the West since September 11, and this problem is predicted to persist for as long as the hostilities will continue.

Paul Tice: How Climate Change Conquered the American Campus— Here is a college quiz. While many parts of the U.S. economy struggle to recover from the Great Recession of 2008-09, one domestic industry is experiencing a technology-driven expansion in which American innovations have led to countless new company startups, a surge in hiring and some of the highest-paying entry-level jobs for graduating college seniors. How are the nation’s universities responding so students might prepare for a promising career in this growing and intellectually challenging field? By largely ignoring it. Why? Because the industry is oil and gas.

The Hockey Schtick: New Paper Corroborates the Solar-Cosmic Ray Theory of Climate— A paper published today in Environmental Research Letters corroborates the Svensmark cosmic ray theory of climate, whereby tiny 0.1% changes in solar activity are amplified via the effect on cosmic rays and cloud formation, which in turn may control global temperatures. The authors find cosmic ray variations due to changes over solar cycles may have as much as 10 times larger effect than previous studies have estimated. The paper also finds that a tiny 0.2C temperature increase increases the cosmic ray induced cloud condensation nuclei by around 50%, thus acting as a natural homeostatic mechanism.

Daniel Greenfield: CBS, Colbert and Contempt for America— Rush Limbaugh and other conservatives have expressed bewilderment over CBS’s abandonment of the “American Heartland” by choosing Colbert to replace Letterman. Ed Driscoll has contrasted the pick with the Letterman and Leno succession battle. But the real lesson of that battle is that while Leno won on performance, beating Letterman in the ratings, Letterman won on image, retiring as an honored figure, despite his abusive behavior, while Leno was booed out the door.

J.D. Tuccille: Uncle Sam Revives Feudal Practice to Collect From Children of Debtors— Holding children responsible for the debt incurred by their parents is a feature of historical feudalism and a few modern third-world shitholes. Developed countries, by and large, assume that a debt dies with the person who willingly incurred it, or at least stops with his or her estate. “By and large,” I write, because the U.S. government has broken with centuries of tradition holding individuals responsible for their choices, opting to withhold tax refunds from children whose parents incurred vague and often ill-documented obligations to the feds.

SnyderTalk Comment: If you think that it can’t happen here, you had better think again.  And by the way, if your parents have lived on OPM (other people’s money) and are nearing the end, you had better start urging them to pay what they owe before they die.  If you don’t, you might get stuck with the bill for their foolishness.

4--Scripture of the Day Yahweh

Genesis 1: 24-25

24 Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth living creatures after their kind: cattle and creeping things and beasts of the earth after their kind”; and it was so. 25 God made the beasts of the earth after their kind, and the cattle after their kind, and everything that creeps on the ground after its kind; and God saw that it was good.

14--Blessings from Revelation 2

Blessings in the Book of Revelation is a book that you need to read, especially now.  There are blessings throughout the Scriptures but Revelation is the only book in the Bible actually containing a specific blessing for reading it. It’s repeated twice, once at the beginning and again at the end. This is the reason that I believe Revelation should be the first step toward studying biblical prophecy. Though not easy to do, Revelation can be broken down and understood by anyone, not just the academic elite. So, Revelation’s blessings are for everyone.  Click here to order the eBook.  Click here to order the paperback.

  • Stand! is a suspense novel that exposes the lies, corruption, and greed underlying the theory that man-made CO2 emissions are responsible for global warming.  Professor Wes Carlyle and Karen Sterling, his research collaborator, carefully scan the audience for their would-be attacker—a member of the enviro-gestapo who has been following them for days.  Wes spots his man in the back of the room leaning against the wall.  Suddenly, another man in the audience steps forward and moves toward Karen at a menacing pace.  With a vicious stroke, he swings a billy club at her head.  Click here to order the eBook.  Click here to order the paperback.
  • What Will You Do with the Rest of Your Life? deals with a question that every Christian has to consider: what should I do with my life?  Click here to order the eBook.  Click here to order the paperback.
  • Falsely Accused is a true story about a young woman who was accused of committing a double homicide.  It’s about a travesty of justice, and it reveals Yahweh intervening in the life of a believer to rescue her from danger in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds.  Everyone will enjoy the book, but young people in particular need to read it because the mistakes made that led to the problem could have been avoided.  They were the kinds of mistakes that young people are prone to make.  As they say, forewarned is forearmed.  Click here to order the eBook.  Click here to order the paperback.
